The customer service in the store is good. However, i am not happy with their delivery system. Recently i purchased a refrigerator, and their computer system showed that they have inventory in stock. Their computer system sent me text messages and email to confirm their delivery service for the next day. Just as i had my hopes up, i received email and text messages by midnight that my delivery has been postponed for a week. At the end, it got postponed for a total of 3 weeks and i ended up going into the store and cancelled the order. Right after i cancelled the order from Best Buy, i went to Howard's and ordered it from them. Within 2 days, i got my refrigerator delivered to my house. So for those all you looking for a refrigerator, be prepare that you may receive it at a later time. read more

I normally don't care to post reviews for chain stores, but my experience with Jason in the camera Department was so exceptional that I felt it was only right to leave this review. Service was attentive and he was very knowledgeable and patient with answering all of my questions. Usually when you have an employee working in the camera Department of most stores, you can tell that they don't know what they are talking about, but Jason was completely versed in all the major camera brands and you can tell that he had a genuine love and interest for photography. read more

I ordered a 4K TV and paid extra for the haul away service four days in prior. The delivery was on time with no problem, but the haul away service didn't show up at all; no call, no text or email to let me know what happened. I decided to call and told me that someone from the haul away service would be scheduled three days later. (WTF, it supposed to be done at the same day of my new TV was delivered.) What's the point that I need to pay extra but wait extra days because of your mistake? Terrible customer service and irresponsible follow up. They said they can cancel the service for me and refund me by the check ( 7-10 days) WTF!!!! I paid by a credit card and why I need to wait for my refund by check?? Totally nonsense and ridiculous!!! I had a terrible experience with best buy and the original guys who cam ein to install my stove. One of the guys broke my gas line, I had to call the gas company to come fix it, two best buy has the worst customer service ever! They are hard to reach, at one point Luis (the apparent manager) and Melissa Ruedas who was suppose to take care of my upgraded stove went on vacation and I couldn't get properly assisted, three it's obvious all they care about is their sales. Once they've locked you in you will never hear from them again. It took me approximately 10 tries before anyone could reach me, nobody went out of their way to help me with my problem, on top of that they have an automated machine that says "you cannot speak to a live person at the store". They need a better system and better customer service. The same way customers go in to spend thousands they should invest in providing better customer service. read more

This place deserves zero stars. I purchased a video card for my desktop computer and a printer. When I got home, i opened the video card for my computer and i noticed and old used video card. Printer kept getting jammed. I brought both back to the store and manager told theres nothing they can do with the video card. Apparently there are employees changing their old product in their boxes leaving customers with crap items. This is theft from a higher level. Very disappointed. Bought a Nordic track treadmill, purchased an extended warranty. The extended warranty starts at date of purchase. Yet manufacturers warranty supersedes extended warranty. Was not informed of said situation. So inevitably a 3yr extended warranty is only good for a year due to the "two year" manufacture warranty. So spent $320 on a three year warranty only to be able to have "extra protection" for one year. So please be advised and check for the duration of manufacture's warranty before opting to pay extra for a misleading "extended warranty" read more

Most times, the visits here are positive, however that wasn't the case today. First off, when I walked into the customer service line the representative (Carlos) did not "greet me." No smile or a nice gesture response when I said "hello, how are you?!" His response was "how can I help you?!" And then he proceeded to ask me questions like I stole the item I wanted to return. My whole experience with him was unpleasant. I think he forgot that we (customers) purchase Best Buy goods and that in turn pays for his pay. Funny thing is, he works in customer service, why?! Hi there, My name is Simon and I just bought a new Sony Xperia XZ Premium unlock phone (almost $900 for this phone) on 7/2/17, and the phone was malfunction on the wifi and bluetooth features after 18 days I use, then I tried to contact Sony to see what they can do, and Sony said my phone was the defective device and they are happy to repair or replace my phone, however, due to my phone is still within 1 month after purchasing from Best Buy, so Sony asked me to see if Best Buy can do that for me. I took a day off today and visited the Best Buy in Duarte, and there were 2 lady staffs helped me to resolve my issue, and they said I can exchange to another new Sony Xperia XZ Premium phone but they did not have a stock in that store at that moment, but they saw there have a stock in the Best Buy in Pasadena, so they suggested me to go there to exchange the phone. Worst thing began in the Best Buy in Pasadena..... I went to the Best Buy in Pasadena, and tried to talk to the Customer Service staff with the exchange receipt that I got it from the Duarte store, and that staff asked me to go to the phone section and they would exchange the phone for me. Then, I talked to the super bad attitude supervisor named Ivo ( but he called himself as the manager ) about the phone exchange process, and this supervisor had a serious BAD attitude to treat the customer when he spoke rude, loud, impolite, and careless to me that my phone was over 15 days period, so I could not able to exchange it. Then, I showed him that I checked the Best Buy app and I still could return and exchange the phone on or before 8/15/2017 if I pay $35 restocking fee for the defective Sony phone and I want to do that, but you know what, he dared to say that THE BEST BUY APP WAS SHOWING THE INCORRECT INFORMATION, and he did not care what the Best Buy app said and he just care about the what the PAPER RECEIPT SAID ONLY (What a ridiculous statement when Best Buy is selling the high technology devices but the supervisor NEVER trust the information shows in the Best Buy app). Then I was shock and I requested to meet another supervisor to verify what this brainless supervisor Ivo said the Best Buy App was wrong and he would not exchange the phone for me. When another supervisor came in and Ivo was changing 180 degree of his attitude and said he did not say Best Buy App was wrong and insisted that he would not exchange the phone to me, so I went back to the Best Buy store in Duarte. And then the staff Jessica and another lady staff (sorry I forgot her name) met and listened to me very carefully, then Jessica helped me to return the defective Sony phone and ordered another new Sony Xperia XZ Premium phone for me with 2 years insurance, and I was so released after I found someone really cared about my request in Best Buy instead of yelling you out and treated you as the enemy. Thanks Jessica and another lady staff who saved me from this obstacle! Ivo, really hope you can change your attitude to treat the customers who really want to do the businesses in Best Buy in Pasadena and I will post this feed in Best Buy in Pasadena on Yelp too but will give only 1 star. I took it to them but they said they can't help me and that I have to ship it to Microsoft because I didn't buy their geek squad bullshit. The funny thing is the Xbox is still under warranty. I wanted to purchase a microwave, my friend was visiting and could help me install an over-the-counter microwave. We went to Best Buy and I found one that looked alright. The sales associate let us know that the model we chose would need to be shipped to this store and we could pick up later. I started the check out process. My friend went online and found two different Best Buy's who had the microwave in stock and could be picked up that afternoon. The sales associate then tried to talk us out of it: "Sorry, that other store closes at 5pm" Uh, it says on the website it closes at 8pm. "I don't show any stores nearby with that model being available" Uh, it says on the website there are two stores within 20 miles. He wasn't a super hard-sell guy, but still it was a bit annoying trying to be talked into/out of something. I don't understand the dynamic completely, but I believe the appliance sales staff actually work for another company other than Best Buy. Probably a company the pays commission. read more

I can't even begin to describe our horrifiic experience with switching over 5 devices from AT&T to Verizon after being sold by Best Buy reps on the perks. What a sheer disaster. I was not a fan of this but my family walked in and got sold on the deal - it has been nothing but problems from the start, hours/days of our time going into the store, double billing, bad devices, multiple torturous calls with AT&T and Verizon, incompetent managers, and in the end nothing to show for it but suffering. There was one good guy worth mentioning who went out of his way and texted with me for months but in the end he couldn't even help. They screwed us over again and couldn't order a replacement for the bad device, which was promised earlier. I think it's very safe to say AVOID Best Buy whenever possible, no matter the location. Just horrible. I bought an Acer Chromebook so that my son can do his school workwork. THE FIRST DAY I bought it the screen started acting up. We couldn't do a thing with it. I took it back only for them to tell me they had to send the computer to the manfactuer for repair. I JUST BOUGHT IT!! So I had to wait over a week for a so called brand new computer that I already paid for to be fixed. They said their policy would not allow for me to get a new one. I picked up the "repaired" computer TODAY and it's doing the SAME THING. Best Buy sold me a lemon and I'm not happy. I'm going tomorrow for a full refund to include the warranty I paid for and I will never purchase from them again. This is not ok. I've wasted time and money. Bought a subwoofer from best buy online and set up an installation appointment. Their website cancelled it on me for no reason the first time. They rescheduled me at the Pasadena location 2 days later. As soon as I drove up I got a call from them saying their only installer called in sick and they won't be able to see me for a week. They said I could either wait the week or return the subwoofer. F them so I returned it, this is why they're going down the crapper.
