Wow I asked this blond woman sales consultant about some speakers and she had no idea what she was talking about. Her best pitch about the difference cars between the products was " this ones small this ones medium and this one is large" I asked about the difference between the series and she said " I've been here for 3 years and it's been the same. A wealth of product knowledge. Then I got another person to help and told him I wanted to get it and he yelled out to someone else to write me up then the scowling manger came and displayed him in front of me for interrupting him to write me up. Shopping in here felt like I was in some ancient bizarre. There were kiosks everywhere and people trying to hock their merchandise at you. It was so empty of customers, but felt so loud and crowded. Uncomfortable. I also have to agree with Malice D.'s review about the customer service. I was looking for a memory card for my camera and no one helped me. As far as Best Buy's customer service goes, this location is very average...meaning young sales associates, not necessarily the best knowledge, but they don't make commission so I guess there's no incentive to do your job well? I've been into this Best Buy many times, and this review basically sums up my overall impression and experience here. Geek Squad: Good customer service, have had no problems. I had accidentally dropped my laptop and it broke, wouldn't turn on. I took it in and got the full amount back in store credit because I had bought coverage for accidents. So far, each time I get called earlier than the estimated time to repair my computer as well, so that is definitely appreciated. In the various sections of the store, I've always been asked if I needed help if I'm just browsing or looking stumped...LOL. It's rare that I have to actually go seek a salesperson out. But it still is Best Buy. It's never a really pleasant experience for me. For some reason, and it's probably just me, but I can never find anything unless I ask someone, or a salesperson sees me wandering around and asks if I need anything... Their prices are decent, but the selection in this store seems lacking when we were looking at refrigerators and dishwashers. As well as when we were looking for an iPad Air case. I ended up getting the fridge from somewhere else and passed on all dishwashers for now. And ended up getting my iPad cover through amazon. I bought an iPhone Max from this store in November. I told them that it was a gift for my mother, she uses Verizon and she travels internationally as well, so I told them I needed a phone that would work internationally and domestically. She takes the phone internationally, pops in a SIM and it doesn't work. 2 months later, she returns with the phone and I take it to the apple store and they tell me it was locked to Sprint (Sprint store confirmed this as well.) I take it back to Best Buy and asked for my money back, because I was sold a phone that did not meet my prerequisites. Team and their manager told me that they could not give me a refund because it was past the 2 week return policy. I understand that part. What I don't understand is them LYING to me about a phone that would work internationally. (on the Best Buy customer care online told me their employees should not be saying their phones would work internationally at all, because it's misleading) So their own company confirmed that they lied to me at the time of purchase. The manager just threw up her hands and said that nothing can be done. Yea i'm sure. Once, someone higher up tells you otherwise, I'll get my money back. This review is for their customer service. I purchased a 75 inch TV and soundbar on May 25th. On June 19th I was still waiting for someone to come out and correct problems with the installation. I finally got so frustrated I called Speers TV in Pasadena and they came out and resolved the issues in about 20 minutes. They had to reconnect the soundbar because the geek squad had connected it wrong. They also adjusted the picture quality because the geek squad had failed to do so. Best Buy may be fine for in store purchases and anything that does not require customer service. However, if you need help with anything they installed, good luck. It took them 16 days to finally install my TV after I bought it and I could never get them to come out again to fix problems. When I called the geek squad they were unable to resolve my problems over the phone and when I scheduled appointments they were cancelled for reasons they couldn't explain. I've been a loyal customer of Best Buy since they were Circuit City and have never had problems like this before. It appears to me that they now spend tons of money on sales and marketing at the expense of customer support. From now on I'm taking my business to Speers TV where they treat customers like people unlike Best Buy that consistently uses COVID-19 as an excuse for their incompetence. read more

The absolute worst customer service ever. Lost all of my information on my extended warranty for a 300$ watch that was less than 4 months old. The lady that sold it to me originally no longer works there? I can only wonder why? She did not enter ANY of my information into the system there fom I have no recourse. Went to this Best Buy to look for a DVD, the new Dc animated feature .. yes they are great ! Anyway , asked an amazing Filipino associate, but they did not have it. I wandered around as I had some time to kill , waiting for my sushi @kabuki. I had no idea they sold high end stereo equipment! THIS PLACE DESERVES A NEGATIVE STAR RATING! they have the worst customer services EVER! we originally bought a hypervolt from them to test, I specifically asked te cashier what was the return policy. I was told, " you can return it within 30 days" and I added full return?? she replied "yes". After a few days, I decided to return it because it was really helping with my back pains, so hubs returns it and they CHARGED US A $15 RESTOCKING FEE something that they never told us, and they didn't even tell us when we returned it either. what they do is return the item make you signed the acknowledgement for the restocking fee WITHOUT EXPLAIN YOU what it is! so we went back and asked them what is this restocking fee that was charged because no one told us about it and I asked the store manager to pull up the agreement that we signed and he had the audacity to tell me that he can't and I have to contact corporate just so I can leave the store! ughhhh! don't ever buy crap from Best Buy! their customer service sucks and they are overpriced! give your business to AMAZON! read more

I don't shop at retail shops as much anymore being that online shopping is cheaper and convenient. I went here in the afternoon during Black Friday just to check things out and the pricing is definitely more expensive then what you can find online. I used to go to this place a lot a couple of years ago but now I know why I don't do B&M shopping as much. The place was crowded, staff wasn't as helpful and the place was a mess. However, I'll just blame Black Friday for the mess and the crowd but I can't blame BF on the staff for not being helpful. When we were last here, we bought a new All-in-One Lenovo PC and we absolutely love it. The service was great and, even though they were closed, they still let us browse for a computer. I am a little disappointed with the DVD and CD collection here because they only carry the best-sellers; I used to buy anime through this company, but now I buy it online or through Barnes and Noble. I do have their credit card so I was able to redeem my points to buy a wireless keyboard and mouse. read more

Y'all are a mess. I went in there to drop money on a camera. I bought it, told the lady i wanted my 5 perfect back by putting it on my credit card and paying it back. When i paid she leaned over and indicated i should hit " 12 months no interest". After my transaction i asked about my 5 percent back and she said i can't get that since i hit 12 months no interest..... NOW IM PISSED! I asked to do a return in which she said no. I agree with all the negative reviews. Customer service at Best Buy has dropped considerably. Long lines, no sales associate that you can get a hold of to get the product you want or to check to see if they have it in stock, prices are non competitive, and no good deals. I was there today trying to find a 22" monitor for my dad and it literally took 30 minutes just to get the attention of a sales associate, then saw him scurrying about going from computer to computer to see if they had it in stock. I would only consider going to Best Buy if it was the last resort. Usually you can find way better deals online and not have to deal with their crappy customer service or be convinced into buying their extended warranties. I think Best Buy is going to go out of business the same way Circuit City and Good Guys went out of business. I haven't bought anything from Best Buy in 2 years and I'm grateful for not wasting my time & money there. Went in to buy my macbook air. There was another couple taking a look at the macs and the ONE guy that was actually there for a couple minutes knew NOTHING about the computers. His response to everything was along the lines of "I don't know." He walked away rather quickly which sucked because I knew exactly what I wanted within 5 minutes. We looked around and saw that there weren't very many people on the floor. After waiting for 20 minutes, my husband went searching for a guy and dragged him back to where the macs were. 1) I tried to cancel Destiny item that I ordered online, IN PERSON at my local Best Buy, they said they couldn't do it, I have to call the 800 number.... that's strange, aren't you guys the same company? This was the Pasadena locaton on Foothill, at 6:40pm, Sunday 8/24/214 2) Because of an error in billing, I was told to call. I tried to call, couldn't get through on Friday, so I panicked and cancelled the order. When I cancelled my order, it said it didn't go through that I had to call. When I called, they said my order was cancelled. I asked if I could pre-order again with a different credit card to retain the previous price, I was told I have to reorder it again online. I explained the preorer price online was not the original pre-order price I paid for so I just want to retain the price. Really? The original reason I had to call was to correct the credit card billing. The rep didn't get it. Because of this, I have lost faith in Best Buy. I've had reward certificates taken away, and now even simple ordering of prodcts I'm having trouble with. I will discourage people from going to Best Buy. Its too late, no need to contact me or "correct this". Save it for your future customers. read more

DO NOT use their audio installation department. If you buy something that needs to be installed, TAKE IT ELSE WHERE!!! They do half ass faulty jobs! About 4 years ago, I purchased an iPod adapter for my car stereo. The tech that installed it at that time did a crappy job the first time. I had to return about a week later and have him fix the issue. Fast forward to present date, my iPod stopped working again. I took my car back to the audio installation department to see if a tech can look at the connection, thinking it could be a connection issue. The tech only bothered to look at the exposed adapter wire and said, "oh, you need a new adapter. They stop working eventually." I ended up purchasing another adapter, but instead of having it installed at the Best Buy installation department and pay $55 again, I took it to a local audio installation place near my home, where they charged me $10 to reinstall the new adapter. When this tech opened the stereo panel in my car, he discovered that adapter wire somehow became disconnected. All this tech had to do was plug it back in! He also took it a step further and took the time to secure it with electrical wire tape and plastic ties so it would not come unplugged again! Four years ago, the tech at the time did a lousy job. Again, I go back, and this current tech made me spend money on a new wire I did not need to spend. Clearly Best Buy hires unqualified techs who do not care and are there just to collect a pay check. Just avoid this location at all cost before you're wasting your time, effort, and gas. I bought a new phone through their website cause they had a promotion but a (literally ONE) day after using it there was a malfunction on my phone which was a pink vertical line on the right side of my phone screen. I went to this location since it's the closest one and boy oh boy I was so mad by the unprofessionalism that was displayed by all the staff that I tried to get help with on that day. After being passed around from staff to staff and waited for the manager to show up, cause apparently their staff do not have any idea what to do, the manager said I have to send my phone back online because the store doesn't provide a new phone on the spot since they need to do some inspections. I then said the whole process is gonna take a t least a week and I can't go a week without a phone and the manager straight up said it was not their problem and there is nothing they can do. It was so ridiculous that I just had to get out of that store. Next day I went to a different location Best Buy and they were very accommodating and actually got confused when I told them that FOOTHILL LOCATION REFUSED to replace my phone. I got my phone right on the spot and also they said as long as it is less than 14 days, any malfunction will be fixed or replaced (if necessary) at no cost. Man I really wish I could give a negative star for this location. Foothill location more like Downhill location. It'd be a great day if they closed down one day. read more

Convenient is its main perk. Easy to get to off the 210 (though parking is a bit hectic at times). I come here when I don't want to wait for my Amazon purchases (even with Prime) to come in, usually to pick up a game or small item. My last time here I picked up a game and an iPad case (it was nice to actually be able to hold them and figure out what I wanted). Staff is of mediocre utility, but not unexpected. They were all very polite and offered to help at least. This is as good as Best Buy gets. read more
