I actually lost brain cells trying to order a computer from here. I originally ordered a laptop that was supposed to be ready for pick up 2 days after my purchase. The day of I got a notification that the pick up date changed and now it would be delayed a week. I checked online and it said they still had them available in store- so I called the store and they literally said "oh, we gave your order to someone who came to purchase the same one in person- so we had to order yours from another location" Ok. So then I asked if they had any other colors available in the store that I could go pick up today- they said yes but my original order color wasn't available. I drove to the store and what was sitting on the shelf waiting to be purchased? The exact color and model I wanted. Happy that I walked away with what I wanted, but soooo confused how it was such a hard process. read more

Employees here don't even know how to handle a trade in. They spent 25 minutes fumbling with the computer, going to multiple counters and still messed it up. It was a simple trade in of a switch 1 for a switch 2. I did everything online ahead of time and they completely messed it up. For some reason they made me stand aside while a different employee took a customer behind me on the POS. Then the person who was helping me was waiting for them to be done with the other customer instead of just helping me. Why??? Complete lack of customer service. The service inside the store is awesome. The people working there really know their job and it's a pleasure dealing with them however I gave it a three because the customer service is awful. I purchased two expensive items and got home and I had a question I was going to ask the gentleman that serviced us. you can't even talk to anyone in the store You're connected with a foreign entity that could help you with questions on the product itself, but you are not able to speak to anyone in the store. And thSo I returned one of the products and I can't speak to anyone about the return. treated disrespectfully ! As I walked into the store 5 guys standing at what I believe is a greater desk. All loudly yucking it up. ( male dog pack) early morning Had to return, the beats air buds I perched the day before. After I needed someone to unlock the door to get another pair. Very few customers in store as it was early. The bad reviews for this location are 1000% accurate. No wonder this place is so low rated and probably (hopefully) going out of business soon. Terrible management. Terrible prices. Unbelievably bad customer service: 1) customer service is ATROCIOUS! They won't help you unless they are assured commission on the sale and they are extremely rude (even taunting us when we left because of how outrageous the service was). They know nothing about what they're selling and they could not be any slower at the register. And this is almost completely across the board. 2) prices are HORRIBLE! The open box sales on used items like TVs (ON BLACK FRIDAY) were about 20 dollars off brand new prices in store (not sales prices, mind you) and not remotely competitive with online prices or even the Target next door. Our experience... Came here for a new TV as well as some office and phone accessories. Unable to get any help on the floor for the TVs, and finding the prices to be way too high, we decided to turn our attention to the supplies we needed and maybe ask some questions at the register about the TVs, possibly order what we wanted if they could give us any help. After waiting on a line for over 20 mins in the phone section (since we had just picked out the phone accessories) where customers were being rung out, two employees "working" the register (Eddie and Logan) told the people behind us to come up and informed us they wouldn't be ringing us out because they wouldn't get commission on our sale since they didn't help us on the floor. Only one of them was working the register and the other (Logan) was doing nothing but talking to Eddie. They sent us to another register (we almost left right there but decided we had waited so long that we might as well purchase the over $500 worth of items we had and never come back to this store)...another employee (didn't get his name but he was in a safety vest near the TV section) informed us (again after waiting about 8 mins) we couldn't use this register because we weren't holding a TV, (he was already aware we wanted a TV and had questions) then taunted us when we said this was getting ridiculous. He told us to leave then, and glibly waived goodbye as we put our items down and walked out. Went home, ordered our over $4200 TV and over $500 accessories online (NOT BEST BUY) and could not believe how rude and incompetent the staff was at this location. Not to mention how much money they cost their store in one sale. Even if we hadn't purchased our TV from them, just the items in our hand were a big enough sale that whoever owns this location should be ashamed of the staff. Absolutely awful! I bought my son an Apple Car Play for Christmas. Shortly after his car died and we had to get rid of the car. We never even opened rhe car play box. Went to return it on 1/20 and they said they wouldn't accept it. It was past the return date 1/13. She said that they extended their return policy to January because of Christmas...it's still January! She gave me a choice. Either I could not return it and keep something I can no longer use for $250 or buy a subscription for $50 to have an extended return date. What a scam! So ridiculous! I purchased a Keyboard here 6 Months ago with a 2-Year Geek Squad Replacement Plan on it for $14.99. The keyboard was $89.99. 6 Months later the Keyboard was defective. Keystrokes would often type extra keys, or not work at all; "Mind of it's own". I returned the Keyboard and exchanged it for one that I liked better. The Logitech G815. This keyboard was placed on the shelf under a $89 Price Tag which worked perfect for my exchange, an even trade, or so I thought. This keyboard came up as $169.99 which was considerably more expensive than what I had returned, but I really liked it and decided I'd still go for it. I ask for the same 2-Year Geek Squad Replacement Plan; I paid and left. I felt like the price was a bit higher than it should have been when I got home after thinking about it for a bit. I went into my email to view my best buy receipt and I noticed that I was charged $29.99 for the same plan I got on my other Keyboard for $14.99. I was annoyed. I called Best Buy directly, and spoke to a saleswoman who identified my purchase and acknowledged that my Plan on the previous keyboard was indeed $14.99 and I asked if it was a flat rate price on the plan, and her answer was "Yes". I then asked why this "flat rate plan" was $29.99 on the new keyboard, and $14.99 on the previous keyboard because "flat rate" generally means static price, that should not change. The response I received was "I think they went up in price" completely unaware of why I was charged twice the amount and had nothing to compensate this issue. It was left unresolved, and a bad taste in my mouth knowing that Best Buy charges a different price on the same plan, depending on what item you buy even though you're told it's a "dynamic" flat rate fee. My experience here is generally OK, but this has soured my interest in coming here. I know that if I shop online directly, I'll pay the price on the tag. read more

I made an appointment with Geek Squad to have my laptop battery replaced. The website sent me text and email reminders of the time and how to prep my computer for the visit. So I get there prepped and on time, and there is one person helping a customer. Fine, I can wait. I sat there with no acknowledgement, no "sorry to keep you waiting," no "someone will be here to help you shortly." I might as well have been one of the KitchenAid appliances that I spent my time looking at. After sitting there for more than twenty minutes, and not knowing how much more of my day I was going to waste, I left. It wasn't the wait that bothered me as much as the sense that my time wasn't worth respecting. I can get my computer fixed somewhere else. read more

The staff has minimum knowledge about the equipment; come prepared with your own research. While shopping for a TV, the sales associate could not get the model and brand correctly between TVs. After I decided for a specific model, he proceeded back to his station showing no interest on the sale. Once I got to checkout, due to the poor involvement from the sales associate, the cashier charged me for a different model that was out of stock. I literally can't understand how this place is still in business. They sell mainly expensive items-- with Radio Shack-type inflated prices. They no longer sell CDs . I use to love buying the Best Buy exclusive ones that featured bonus tracks, bonus DVDs, exclusive packaging and other perks such as stickers. If you want DVDs or Blu-Rays, forget it! 95% of the few movies they have there are only on 4k format. They only have like 3 small racks of movies. I have 10X's more DVDs and Blu-ray's in my own personal collection. Sad because this place was great for DVDs. Only place that still has a decent DVD/blu-ray section is Walmart. Vinyl records--same thing. 2 tiny displays of them. I also have 10X's more vinyl records in my personal collection versus what they have for sale. They were momentarily selling collectibles like action figures, but that went away, too. In it's place they're now selling.... bicycles? Oh, and once I went to buy a turntable there. There was an open box special. But I saw inside the box that the belt and stylus needed to be put in. It didn't have the owner's manual. I asked the guy, who was working in the AUDIO/VIDEO department if he could put in the belt and stylus for me since it didn't have the owner's manual (and that this was my first turntable I was buying and wasn't savvy at the time to do this on my own). Again, a guy, who worked in the AUDIO/VIDEO department told me "I don't know how to do that" and simply walked away. I found a old brick and mortar record store that sold used turntables and bought one there AND they actually installed a NEW belt AND stylus for me! Only time I go into this store now is to buy the occasional eBay gift card or use the bathroom. "Nothing stays gold". read more

I had a very poor customer experience at Best Buy in Seekonk, MA today. I went to the store to purchase a laptop. When I entered the store, I walked by two employees at the entrance that did not acknowledge me. I walked directly into the electronics department to make my selection when I noticed one associate assisting two customers. I decided to wait for the sales associate to complete his sale. While I was waiting, another customer entered the department and said to me "it looks like it's going to be a while". I replied "yes, I've been waiting a while". I assumed I would be serviced first since I had been waiting in the department the longest. Once the previous sale was complete, the sales associate informed me that the man that entered the department after me was next because he was in the queu. He instructed me to go back to the front entrance to put my name in the queu. I expressed that that didn't seem fair since I had been waiting for service for some time. The associate suggested I speak to a manager and started helping the customer after me. I approached the manager at the front entrance who reluctantly asked another associate to help me. I told the second associate what laptop I came into the store purchase. The second associate realized he needed to find keys and asked me to wait. Once the second associate had the keys, I then had to wait again for him to check several spots on the sales floor and in the stockroom. When he was unsuccessful finding the laptop, a third associate was asked to assist. Needless to say, I left the store extremely frustrated by the experience and do not plan to return to a Best Buy again. read more

Where do I even begin... I ordered a TV open box because it was a great deal on a newer model. I understand due to COVID certain things will change and stores are minimizing the number of people allowed inside, however, I tried to come inside to test my TV and was unable to. I get home and plug it in and the entire screen is cracked and the TV is useless. The store had closed for the night so the next day I went back to return and order a new one. I was told that I would be getting a brand new TV at the same rate, I was very happy with this and had no other issue. Fast forward to today, my new TV arrives and I pick it up in store. The box was quite damaged but due to my last experience, I was able to come in and test it before returning home. Now that I am home I'm realizing this "new" TV was also a return/open box when I was promised it would be new. This TV, although not broken is missing parts like the AV/RCA Conversion cable that is listed, as well as the power cord being from a samsung TV (I purchased LG). Now the cable fits and works just fine, thats not the issue. But as someone who is a huge movie buff and regularly watches both DVD and VHS movies, this is a major inconvenience. I've been waiting on hold now for the store to answer the phone for the last 30 minutes and this is just unacceptable. Get it together Best Buy, or maybe take the "best" out of your name. read more

Matt was knowledgeable, informative and finished in less than 2 hours when we were told it would be 3. Bought a new washer and dry for BestBuy Seekonk. Got a good price on it we think and the fellow who helped us at the store was good. On the day of delivery, our delivery window was 830AM to 1030 AM. Truck didn't arrive until 12- no call and when we called BestBuy at 1130- no help at all. The moving guys were NOT qualified to install the washer and dryer. I think the most dangerous this they did was install the dryer plug incorrectly, either the strain relief not clamped on the cable assembly cover, but instead claimed on the loose wires themselves. This is a fire waiting to happen. I pointed it to them and had them correct it, but had to make them unplug the 220 connection before they did it. Then, they incorrectly installed the discharge hose u guide and instead tie wrapped hanging to the hose- that's a future flood waiting to happen. The washer leaked, at first at the hoses, which they reacted too slowly to and ultimately was repaired by me replacing the hoses. One of the guys cut his thumb pretty well in the installation, and bled on the washer, manuals, and my floor. We helped him to treat the wound, but it was left to us to clean up the blood left everywhere. A nightmare BestBuy- you sent unqualified people to install a high end washer and dryer, and unless I was here you to correct it you would have unsafely installed 2 high voltage machines mixed with potentially leaking water sources from an unlimited supply of water. I would NOT recommend purchasing any appliances from BestBuy based on their practice of sending unqualified installation staff that can put you and your home in a dangerous situation as a result of their shoddy install. read more

I always find what I need. I'm shopping for a Bose speaker which I found easily. I have bought 3 for gifts . I'm going to be shopping for a bigger TV NEXT. I know I'll be happy with the selection and service that's why I continue to return. This Best Buy is located in the kohl's shopping center so I can pretty much do one stop shopping. It's located right on RT 6 easy to find . It's a good size store and your always greeted when coming into the store. Checking out is easy the cashiers are always pleasant so Therefore I return for my tech needs . I've always been satisfied. read more

I wanted a dash cam, but Best Buy did not sell the one I wanted. So I spoke to the Best Buy in Attleboro, and asked them if it was possible for Best Buy to install it if I bought a BlackVue which is basically a $1000 unit. I explained to them how the dash cam I wanted worked, that they wouldn't be adding a camera, but instead they would be patching in a separate battery that acts as an energy reservoir for when the car is in park mode. The guy I was speaking to in Attleboro looked up the device, and assured me that a Best Buy was able to install such a device, but the only day they were able to do it would be in seakonk, two months away, on St. Patrick's Day. Two months past, I worked a 11 to 7 shift the night prior, I drive to seakonk only to observe the technician sitting around playing with his phone, I showed him the device which was fresh and still the package, and then he flat out refused to do it, saying it was too complicated, that he was not able to do it. I explained to him if you just patch in the battery, I can do the rest, but he even refused to patch in the battery! To make things worse, the guy was insulting, making fun of the fact that I bought basically $1000 unit and told me that there would be no place that would put this in for me because I didn't buy from their stock! I then proceeded on calling another place that was in Boston that took my car without issue, patched the entire thing, even gave me an extra SD card that was larger than the one I previously had, set the whole freaking system up within an hour and 15 minutes! These guys in Boston were amazing and were practically CarGeeking out over the Blackvue since they knew exactly what it was and how awesome it was! The people in Boston clearly have a passion for what they do, because let's face it, cars are awesome, as well as the devices that we decide to put into them! Best Buy is basically employing lackluster, passionless people to sit around and play with their phones in Seakonk. Don't even bother wasting your time, money, or put your car at risk because it is clear they have no clue! Find yourself a nice mom and pop place that has integrity! read more

I needed to very popular items an apples second series pen and an apple second generation SE watch. This man was so patient with me. When I looked online it said this location had one left in stock so I went as fast as I could by the time I got there it was sold. I didn't realize this particular watch was flying off the shelves as fast as they could get them in, This man felt so bad that he checked all the locations nearby and got me the watch I needed. It USED to be my favorite best buy. But now I travel the extra 15, 30, or even 45 minutes to Warwick, Dartmouth, or even Quincy. Nicer staff and bigger selection at Warwick. Dartmouth if you want in and out and basic PC questions. Quincy if you're a tech nerd who wants someone who actually knows something about gaming. Problem is the knowledge in this store about anything other than TVs have plummeted. Sure, I'll still come here for my next TV or a quick accessory but...nothing else. read more

Was sold a speaker that stopped working, within a year. No big deal. Went in to the store, both the store manager and the asst manager told us to pound sand. I think this Best Buy might actually take the cake for worst store ever. Every time I'm here, I'm greeted immediately by The Greeter, but when I actually need help, there's no one to be found or, as I have experienced on multiple occasions, the people there to help you are not the least bit informed about the items they're supposed to be selling. I guess you can afford that lack of detail when you're a big box store, but for customers like me, a little effort and a lot of information go a long way. Best Buy used to have a great rewards program which was a great incentive to purchase from them. Now that it's changed and is a lot less rewarding, I find very little reason to be their customer at all. This store reminds me how and why it's important to patronize the independently owned and operated mom and pop shops that grow and support local economies. Best Buy may have lower prices on occasion, but you really can't put a price on customer care, service and sanity. read more

I needed to buy a new printer and where better to go than Best Buy, right? Ummm, not so much. When I arrived there were three or four employees standing at the security desk as you enter. All of them turned around to look at me and none of them said a word. I had never been to this best buy before so I was obviously trying to locate the appropriate department and no one asked me if I needed any help. As I managed my way through the store the only consistent thing I saw the employees doing was talking to each other. When I finally found the printer aisle there was an elderly woman who looked up at me obviously hoping I was an employee. We both stood there for about 5 minutes without anyone coming to assist us. Finally I decided to buy the printer that looked like it had what I needed and made my way up to the checkout. The woman followed me and basically had to break in to an employee conversation to ask them to help her. The checkout girl I can't really complain about. She spoke to me...which was a first for this visit. I can honestly say this is the worst best buy I've ever been to. I'll likely find a new store for my technology needs. read more

Came in here to buy a power supply that failed on my desktop computer. It's about on par for what I'd come to expect out of a Best Buy. Plenty of help to be found in the mainstream areas of the store (laptops, cell phones, etc.) but when you're in a less common area, staff are nowhere to be found. When you do find one, they aren't particularly knowledgeable or especially friendly. Their selection of niche products isn't really where it used to be either. To say that I wouldn't go back there. It's more of a last-resort kind of place for electronics needs. As limited their selection and as unhelpful as the staff is, at least you get things instantly. read more

Three stars for effort. The great thing about this store is that it is centrally located and easy ro get to. During Christmas season the parking sucks. There is too little space and makes it difficult to even get near yhe front door. This is the smaller of the Best Buys in the area and selection is tight.
