Been with Verizon for years. I mean YEARS. Was neither here nor there as far as service go. Was a…read morereally good guy we would always work with when needing to upgrade. He was a greta salesmen. Listened your needs, asked and answered questions. Would explain why you might want this over that. Sadly he no longer works there and with him went all the humanity verizon had I guess. Went in the other day and instead of actually listening to what we were looking for, what we were comfortable spending, what our family wanted, was told what phones we were getting without anyone actually showing us a phone or selling us on them. Was quoted double our current plan. Tried to sell my husband a big brick of a phone. No not even sell it. They TOLD HIM THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE GETTING. The man carries a iphone SE because its tiny and fits in his work shirt pocket. Salesman didnt care. When we pushed back even a little we were met with ITS 4000$ WORTH OF PHONES. Yeah I dont want to spend 3 years paying for 4000 dollars worth of phones. My husband wanted to know about camera quality on different phones. The reply was my iphone does that. Then He zoomed into the carpet instead of across the room or telling us anything relevant, dont even know what phone it was! Verizon went from a ok place were salesmen where there to meet your needs and maybe talk you into something a little nicer to telling you what you were getting and making you sound ungrateful if you questioned it. Sadly if they had come at us with even a modicum of like what our needs or wants were we would have been open to staying with them out of convenance. If they had actually had a personable sales clerk working and not just a button pusher checking in with "chief salesman" to make sure the couldn't add on any other costs they would still have our business. There are sooo many other options now days. We are glad to move on. Oh and they need to get actual chairs with backs on them!

She tried to up sell me on a cover and screen protector. I passed on the cover, but needed something in case I dropped the phone. It took her almost and hour to switch my number. When she went to put on the screen protector, she kept trying to remove something from the screen. She said it was stuck to the screen protector. She said that was the last one and would call me to come in and get another. She never called, but I was charged $40+ for one faulty screen protector! I went into the store and she out right lied and rudely pointed at the supply. I told her that they were out when I got the phone. The "defective protector" was the last one. Then she looks up my number and tells me it was over the 14 days. Pretty much looked at me and laughed. Now, if there is a problem and an employee tells the customer they will correct the problem, they don't get nasty and tell you it is over the 14 days. I hate liars. This experience is why I do not like giving places like this my business. I am not sure how they get paid for up selling, but this employee lied and should be accountable & follow up as they promise. Unprofessional. As for the plan she set me up on..she quoted me $49, I was billed $65. Crappy store employee, crappy T-Mobile service.

Incredible. Lifesavers. 100/10…read more I fully submerged my iPhone 6 in water and couldn't fish to out for a full 30 seconds. Tried the rice method but not until a few hours later. The result, not unexpectedly, was disastrous. Half the phone screen turned black, or started pushing buttons itself, or wouldn't respond, or wouldn't turn on, and then, finally, it would just flashed a green screen at me at a nightclub rave tempo. Summary: worst case scenario. It was the weekend and I rely on my phone for personal life and work. I was panicking. I feared not only for my news feed, but for the clients that couldn't get ahold of me bright and early Monday morning. I googled the nearest place with the best reviews. Then searched again for anyone open on a Sunday at noon (not many). These guys popped up; I went in with a bank card and blind hope. Expecting to have to buy a cheap full-in phone until I could sort out this mess with Apple or AT&T. Expecting to kiss my savings account goodbye. These guys are outstanding. I walked in, explained the situation. They gave me a full quote and walked me though the possible damages and repair options. Sent me to kill time for an hour, and when I came back about 50 minutes later, they had it mostly fixed. They switched it between the old and new screen right in front of me so I could understand the situation. Opened it up and showed me the damages. I know nothing about the inner workings of an iPhone, but they broke it down for me unprompted so I could grasp what I was in for and what to expect. Told me the worst case scenario (needing to send it elsewhere for further repairs), but made it clear they'd do everything they could. Reminded me of any possible costs and double checked that I was okay with them. Never made me feel like I'd be left high and dry (which would've been fair; they fix phones, they don't perform magic, and I'd essentially sent it to the Shadow Realm). As a bonus, the guy who helped me was really polite about the privacy of my phone. Let me key in the password and double checked that I was okay with him entering any apps to confirm the functionality of the phone - even when going into Settings. Was super thorough and dedicated to making the phone 100% again, even when I admitted I was willing to just take a phone that could send texts, make calls, and receive emails. Friendly, calm, professional; that was exactly what I needed when looking at my year-old, $900 investment and control hub of my life, sitting possibly dead on the counter. Went to kill time for another 15 minutes. When I came back, he had it all patched up and gave me a rundown of the final fixes. Noted that one or two minor glitches did happen (battery level fluctuated some), but gave me the option of fixing that then (maybe unnecessary) or coming back if there was an issue with a $10 discount on replacing the battery. Never pressured me to buy anything else and was very frank about the state of my phone. I was in and out in an hour and a half, tops. I came in with a phone that probably needed a full replacement. Walked out with a fully functional phone that had a new screen, a few circuit repairs, and other minor tweaks that had it living life again. $100-ish dollars in total, on the weekend, less than three hours after I'd TOTALED the thing. I'll recommend these guys forever, and you won't catch me upgrading to a new phone again just because something is wrong with my old one. This place works miracles!

But this phone was on its last leg! Not only did I upgrade to the most current iPhone, I also moved carriers. Clearly the new carrier is Verizon. Now that I've given the history and my "iPhone bio", let me tell you what changed. In comes Michael G. He was knowledgeable and listened to everything I said, even the details of how I liked to travel, job life , etc. I mention this because upon receipt of the quote for all the new gadgets and services, Michael had customized the plan so that it covered domestic and international travel. Most wouldn't pick up on that, but he did. He was also acutely aware of how I did not want to be going through the process of setting up a new phone, watch, or an iPad and he did it all. I have to give a shout out to his manager. He was awesome. I was a walk-in later in the evening and they didn't rush me. He offered me and other customers water as we were waiting. He was very thoughtful with all customers. Sidenote, there was a very cranky individual this particular evening and the staff and the manager handled it with grace. So, I guess you can say that I loath the process a little less now. Thank you, Michael and team Verizon! Let me not forget to mention that I also went back today because I was having issues with some of the apps and again I walked in late, but they made sure they resolved the problem even after they officially closed.

And in my area, there was a briefer outage a few weeks ago. All-in-all, they have not responded properly to the other two big system-wide day-long type outages we had already this year. My definition of "properly" would be that they build in redundancy to their system, so that their service will continue uninterrupted even when their Phoenix supplier breaks down. At this point I have to question the truth of the "99.9% uptime" they are claiming on their landing page. They continue to do certain things very well (call quality on my voip system is good for example aside from the outages, and the technical support agents I've spoken with have been generally helpful on various matters). I really should lower them to about 2.3 stars (rounded down to 2 stars) for the last 8 months, and then raise them back up to 3 or 4 when they announce that redundancy is in place and has been properly tested so that, in theory, these outages will become much more rare. But they seem to say they have actually been working hard for a long time now to install redundancy via New Mexico, and they seem to believe it is just around the corner. I'll give them a week or two more to finalize on this, one way or the other.
