I bought my car from Kevin Auld. Kevin refused to sell me the car unless I purchased Gap insurance from him for over $900 claiming it was a stipulation made by the lending bank (this was not true). Kevin lied to me and even told me "you're free to leave without the car" and "if you don't buy the Gap there's no deal" Kevin knew my car (used for my driving job) was totaled and he had the only one in the area, unless I was able to wait a month for one to arrive at another dealer in Yakima. He took advantage of that because he could and because it got him a few more bucks on top of his commission. Shame on you Kevin Auld and the management that encourages that kind of behavior and mistreatment. Kevin also assured me that the car was certified by the manufacturer. When I asked about the certification agreement while signing paperwork, Kevin told me the certification from the manufacturer was built into the sales agreement because of the arrangement that dealership has with Hyundai. The car is not certified, that was another lie from Kevin Auld to make a sale. read more

I have less than perfect credit so I did a good amount of research on dealerships that offered special financing for us folks looking to better our credit. I was pleased to find that Ford of Kirkland offered such program through Best Chance Auto Loan. I made an appointment with Rich. I understand the mentality of getting the customer in the door and closing the sale, but there was nothing about this transaction that made me feel comfortable enough to give them my business. In fact, it actually pushed me away. He tried to sell me a car that I did not like. Because I was limited in the cars that I could choose from, I asked how often they got inventory. I would've still considered this place if they brought in a car that I actually was interested in, but NOPE! He was adamant about selling me a car at that very moment. During the first hour of our appointment I felt like he was really trying to help. We had good conversation and he had really helpful advice etc. But something told me not to be so naive. I told him I wanted a couple days to think about it and right away his demeanor changed. I could tell he started to get upset by the way he was banging on his keyboard to look at other options. He told me that with every dealership I go to to "shop" that my credit would keep sinking. Which is true, but I feel like if you really wanted to help me, you would've given me the best deal prior to me walking out the door. I contacted him the next day to tell him I changed my mind and that I wanted a refund of my down payment. 3 days later I get a text saying "what if we get you a lower rate, lower payment, less down?" Moral of the story, car salesman are there to SELL. Sadly, not all of them are there to help you. Having bad credit might make you feel helpless and desperate but if you can, you should seek other options. Don't just bite right away. I ended up going to 2 other dealerships after my experience here and I ended up purchasing the car that I wanted for $2k less than what I was offered here. read more

I initially made an online inquiry and applied for the car I had my eye on. I was speaking to a few dealerships, and at the time of my first call I was stressed out. The gentleman who initiated contact, Berry, was calm, patient, understanding, and just an overall great communicator! I appreciate his patients with listening to me! When I arrived, at Ford of Kirkland, I was introduced to my sales manager Geoff Simons. Geoff is absolutely wonderful to work with! When it came to my personal experience Geoff wasn't pushy at all! Best car buying experience EVER!!! No joke!! I have horrible credit and my income is stretched tight. Scott and Tom never flinched and made the experience easy and stress free. With a bit of info up front they went to work and had a list of vehicles that we could qualify for ready to go when we arrived. Do not waste your time going anywhere else. This place is wonderful. Yes, you will pay higher interest if you have challenging credit/income.But you will get a car you love & can afford. Best thing is in a year you'll have a great score and can come back and get your dream car at a great rate (if you don't have). Tom McCabe & Scott Creason are awesome. I will say if you tell them you can do up to a certain amount, they will take that whole amount. So be realistic with what you can do. Where to start? I had received a text from Scott regarding an application from 2 years ago. I should have known at that point they are desperate for business. When my wife and I arrived I went to the desk of Scott and introduced myself. He then introduced me to a sales guy named Ray. First off Ray never looked at me personally on introduction and didn't shake my hand or welcome me in any way. He had a look on his face of someone who did t want to be there and was not thrilled to work with us. All he said was "cone on" as he turned away and walked to an office. I went to get my wife and when we entered the office Scott told him my name again and started to spell it for Ray. Ray then pushed away from desk threw his hands up and said "you do it!!!" At that point my wife said " if he is going to act this way then we are leaving!" Scott begged us to stay and stated that's just Ray's personality and they haves worked together for 22 years. He promised us Ray wanted to help us and please give him a chance. Through out the process of updating our application Ray continued to be rude at one point he put his hand up and said "quiet!"and "wait!!" When my wife asked me a question. They approved us but needed more money down than we offered and we were willing to do more but refused to give them our money. This was due to being upside down in our trade in. So we left. The next day we decided that the truck they had was the one we wanted so regardless of how they acted we decided to contact them and get the truck we wanted. This time though we would trade in our other car that we are not upside down In and would make deal easier. Three days later and 2 phone call messages and a text we have not received a call back from Ray. I did get a text yesterday from Scott stating Ray would call us back. But nope still no phone call. We went a bought a brand new car at another dealership and while process was only 2 hrs. And got great rate from credit union. Very disappointed at the way we were treated at this place.it is very clear That customers are not important to them and that they only care about the money. We were qualified buyers that they lost due to very rude behavior and lack of customer service or communication. read more

im not sure how i feel yet but my husband and i went in 8/25/17 BOUGHT WHICH I FOUND OUT WAS A OVER PRICED ACURA it was a easy sell for the employee rich we were pre approved and had 2500 down with a trade i left feeling great until i realized yes we got a better rate we were qualified threw a bank so long story short i then looked up online to find out that the car we bought for the miles it had was 2000 over priced not a few hundred but 2 g which make a lot of difference when your getting loaned the money with interest in which there were no hard strings that needed to be pulled to get him qualified for the loan, just going to a bigger lot that goes threw banks im a lil dissapointed in not the car but how we still ended up paying more than the car was worth so we start of in the hole with some thing that was overpriced my husband and i are not expecting the world but to be be treated far im realizing the game is rough and do your research cause it matter cause no one looks out for you now in order to get a warrenty we have to ask more money from the bank on a car we over paid for is this car lot being fair to your customer my husband and i are going tommorrow to see and sign for the warrenty on the over priced car and i feel at this point that we should at least not have to borrow the full amount in order to protect ourselfs i keep looking for why this car with more mile then others should be over priced this fare from the blue book value tjere no tv or remote start no oil chamge option hell where the perks when u travel miles to buy a 20k plus car, if i could do it again i probably would hold off not saying i was pressured just saying there cars are just like the ones down the street but for some reason this one i drove from tacoma to kirkland for was far over the price it should have been so bottom line would i recommend someone well we will see if they can do right by this situation and fix it cause there simply no need to pay more for something thats not even worth that amount in the kelly blue book there were no bonuses or any special offer so if you find a good lot to purchase your cars continue to go and stay near home dont make the trip if you traveld a hour like i did cause there wernt any miricals worked. ill follow up with feed back after i go purchase the warrenty lets see read more
