I bought my car from Kevin Auld. Kevin refused to sell me the car unless I purchased Gap insurance…read morefrom him for over $900 claiming it was a stipulation made by the lending bank (this was not true). Kevin lied to me and even told me "you're free to leave without the car" and "if you don't buy the Gap there's no deal" Kevin knew my car (used for my driving job) was totaled and he had the only one in the area, unless I was able to wait a month for one to arrive at another dealer in Yakima. He took advantage of that because he could and because it got him a few more bucks on top of his commission. Shame on you Kevin Auld and the management that encourages that kind of behavior and mistreatment. Kevin also assured me that the car was certified by the manufacturer. When I asked about the certification agreement while signing paperwork, Kevin told me the certification from the manufacturer was built into the sales agreement because of the arrangement that dealership has with Hyundai. The car is not certified, that was another lie from Kevin Auld to make a sale.

I was pleased to find that Ford of Kirkland offered such program through Best Chance Auto Loan. I made an appointment with Rich. I understand the mentality of getting the customer in the door and closing the sale, but there was nothing about this transaction that made me feel comfortable enough to give them my business. In fact, it actually pushed me away. He tried to sell me a car that I did not like. Because I was limited in the cars that I could choose from, I asked how often they got inventory. I would've still considered this place if they brought in a car that I actually was interested in, but NOPE! He was adamant about selling me a car at that very moment. During the first hour of our appointment I felt like he was really trying to help. We had good conversation and he had really helpful advice etc. But something told me not to be so naive. I told him I wanted a couple days to think about it and right away his demeanor changed. I could tell he started to get upset by the way he was banging on his keyboard to look at other options. He told me that with every dealership I go to to "shop" that my credit would keep sinking. Which is true, but I feel like if you really wanted to help me, you would've given me the best deal prior to me walking out the door. I contacted him the next day to tell him I changed my mind and that I wanted a refund of my down payment. 3 days later I get a text saying "what if we get you a lower rate, lower payment, less down?" Moral of the story, car salesman are there to SELL. Sadly, not all of them are there to help you. Having bad credit might make you feel helpless and desperate but if you can, you should seek other options. Don't just bite right away. I ended up going to 2 other dealerships after my experience here and I ended up purchasing the car that I wanted for $2k less than what I was offered here.

The Misfire #1: Engine started misfiring. Took it to the dealer. They charged me $2,000+ to change spark plugs plus diagnostic fees. 2. The "Fixed" Fail: Got the car back, and it misfired again almost immediately. 3. The Diagnosis: Took it back in. They charged me $600 just to tell me the Catalytic Converter was destroyed. 4. The Fight: They tried to charge me $2,500 for the CAT, but I had to argue the Federal Clean Air Act (8yr/80k mile warranty) before they finally agreed to cover it. They still refused to refund the original $2,000 for the "repair" that didn't work. 5. The New Noise: Picked it up again, and now there's a loud grinding noise when turning right (likely a botched heat shield install). 6. The Misfire #3: That same weekend? Another engine misfire. Now the dealer is refusing to acknowledge the grinding noise and wants to charge me ANOTHER $2,500 just to borescope the engine. Jeep Stellantis North America @-- You are treating the symptoms (the CAT) but ignoring the root cause (the engine misfire). A catalytic converter doesn't just "break"; it melts because the engine is failing. By refusing to fix the internal engine defect, you are just waiting for my new CAT to melt again. Your dealership refused to acknowledge a metal on metal grinding sound immediately after the CAT repair, and blamed it on tire rubbing. Which I've never had in 60,500 miles of ownership.

I used the dealer sites to review their inventory and messaging to get more information. I was in Tacoma one morning sitting for an hour in a sales cubical waiting for the dealership's fourth offer. I was looking for my chance to leave. I glanced down at the last vehicle on my list. I decided to message the dealer with my vehicle requirements. A gentleman named Cesar replied, "we have the vehicle that meets your requirements. Can you stop in to see it today" Seeing the last vehicle on my list meant driving an hour from Tacoma to Bellevue. When I arrived, Cesar who ended up being so very helpful had the vehicle ready as I approached it, the driver's door was open. The interior jumped out, grabbed me and I sat down in the seat finally relaxed. Cesar took advantage of the moment, ensuring it was a memorable one. The Chevy was exactly what I had spent six weeks looking for. Caesar and I sat down and scratched out my offer and in 15 minutes Cesar had me meet up with Diego in finance to process my offer signing all the documents. I recommend you stop in to see Cesar and Diego with the team at Chevrolet of Bellevue. Look for yourself, they have found a way to streamline the daunting process most dealerships put us through. I believe in General Motors, team Chevrolet and the people at Chevrolet of Bellevue. Thank you for a truly refreshing car buying experience!

They matched a local dealer's best price on a WT (with towing package and bedliner), removed add-ons where they could, honored the Costco Executive rebate, and even worked to import a vehicle from Idaho at their cost to make the deal happen. There were a few bumps along the way--one dealer backed out of a trade, and the next option required extended negotiation--but they stayed engaged and kept working toward a solution. Like any dealership, there were moments of the usual back-and-forth ("we're losing money on this," etc.), so I'd definitely recommend coming in prepared and advocating for yourself. That said, we did our homework, and I'm confident we ended up with a genuinely strong price. Overall, they put in a lot of effort on our behalf. They were professional, patient, and respectful throughout the process, even while being firm negotiators. We felt included and informed every step of the way, and they took the time--both in person and over the phone--to help us get to a place we were comfortable with. As first-time new car buyers in our mid-thirties, we appreciated that and are grateful for the experience. Always a win to walk away knowing ya didn't get [totally] screwed! Thanks, Dan & Taylor.

I get an email thanking me for buying a tracking device on the truck, that I WAS NOT TOLD ABOUT! I called Lee Johnson back and asked them why they added something I did not want. I was told these tracking devices are put on every vehicle they sell. I was not told about this. This is what the State of Washington says about adding tracking devices to cars. In Washington state, it is illegal for a car dealership to install a tracking device on a vehicle without the owner's consent, as this could violate privacy laws and potentially be considered stalking. The state has specific regulations regarding the use of electronic tracking devices, and unauthorized installation is prohibited. Lee Johnson Nissan is an underhanded dealership who does not inform its buyers they preinstall these trackers on their vehicles./ I will not have any more dealings with any other their dealerships, because of this.

The sales consultant I worked with, Stephen was an absolute trailblazer when it came to deivering a positive car buying expierence. I honestly wasn't intitally planning to buy from them simply because they didn't have the exact 2025 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited car in the interior color I wanted, but my sales person Stephen did a friendly follow-up with me at the perfect time. At that time, I was over the car buying "game" as I was having a terrible expierence with the other dealerships that had the car I wanted. My car had gotten in a collision recently and I was taking care of a newborn. I really just wanted to sign the papers from home and pick it up next time I was in town (mind you I'm an hour+ away from these dealerships). Stephen simply built good rapport with me, listened to me, made sure I felt heared and asked the right questions. From there he met every need I was looking for - met me at my price range, did an inventory transfer of the exact car I wanted from the other dealership, offered me an Uber to their dealerships...all within an hour. I was happy to say 'Yes!' to the car and get it done and over with. My car buying expierence with Hyundai of Kirkland was pleasantly unexpected. The cherry on-top for me, was when I said I was hungry because I didn't have dinner (I wasn't expecting to buy a car that night from them)...Stephen offered and fed me Costco pizza, I mean absolutely divine. I was a happy camper. I left with pizza, snacks, pictures and videos for my social and a new shiny car. Oh, and after my car purchase, they followed up with me to make sure I was happy with the car. I did tell them there were a couple cleaning discrepenscies I found with the car (sticky residue on side mirrors and passenger door) and they kindly offered to detail and clean the car again for free. Just amazing truly.

After making the purchase, I noticed the TPMS light on, so I had to replace all the sensors as well as replace the spare tire that was blown. A/C refrigerant needed replacing as well. There was also a wood chip stuck on the blower fan after cleaning it out. Looks like a mouse lived here before, so I had to replace both the engine filter and cabin filter. This wood chip damaged the blower, so I have to replace this next. I should've gotten a bigger discount than the $500 I wanted. All of the work costs about $1k just to get this running well. I hope they do a better job with vehicle inspection and not always rely on a Toyota/Lexus dealership to help with this, which was shown on the carfax. Any Toyota/Lexus dealership should obviously look at the filters and TPMS and see the issues quickly. Perhaps this dealer should go back to Toyota/Lexus and complain to them for not doing a good inspection on the vehicles and charging another dealer for a bad job. Looking at filters is easy access and can see if there have been rodents living there. Also, if a spare tire is completely damaged, this should be a notified to this dealer/customer. The staff here were friendly and had a good amount of vehicles to choose from. There's a nice lobby with a TV and refreshments inside to make customers feel comfortable. I don't mind coming back here again, but will caution anyone to do their inspections on site regardless of what is shown on the carfax or any receipts shown. I'm all for a dealership trying to make a profit off any vehicle, but perhaps they should do more thorough inspections when accepting vehicles from people coming in for a trade. Most people don't maintain their vehicles well

I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow get my review removed on Google I impulse-bought a crew cab from Access Motorsports. The dealer on all my paperwork is actually Mudarri Motorsports, which has a D- on the BBB and filed for Chapter 11. My salesman swore ownership had changed and Mudarri was out of the picture, but Mudarri is named on every document I signed. Heads up before you trust the ratings: a chunk of their glowing Google reviews come from accounts that "buy a car" every 6 to 12 months across a rotation of similar small lots, and their Yelp split is almost all 1-star and 5-star with nothing in between. Click into the profiles and judge for yourself. At the lot the truck had a check engine light, and they cleared the codes on their own reader without letting me see them. I bought it anyway, assuming it was sound. That night I checked the stored codes myself: P0012 and P0022 (camshaft timing, both banks), cleared about once a week for the previous month. A Jiffy Lube tech found the wrong oil in it, 5w40 instead of spec, which he said is a common trick to mask engine knock. Two days in, my own shop's diagnosis: the engine is dying. Metal shavings throughout the oil pan, both cam phasers 88 degrees out of position, running in limp mode on a failed timing chain. They also found a JB Welded radiator, a dying starter, the wrong-size tires, and a fully seized front brake caliper (which explained the squeak and pull I'd felt on the test drive). The repair quote was $14,000 on a truck I paid $8,000 for and had owned for two days. The service plan was its own saga. They coached me to wait about 30 days, then file a claim so the failure wouldn't get flagged as pre-existing. Sit with that for a second: a dealership openly walking a customer through how to time a claim around the pre-existing-condition clause is essentially coaching you to defraud the very warranty they just sold you. And conveniently, that same 30-day mark is when you lose the right to a full cancellation. When I tried to cancel my roughly $2,000 plan, I got ignored emails, calls that dropped me from hold, and in-person runarounds. It only moved after I demanded a manager, and as of June 19th the credit still hasn't shown up. The only reason I can eat this is that I can pick up a second job and have scholarships and aid covering tuition. Most people couldn't, and a $14,000 surprise on an $8,000 truck would wreck them. Realistically, just don't buy a car from Mudarri or Access ever. And if you somehow do, not without an independent pre-purchase inspection first.
