I was craving some Asian food--Chinese specifically so I decided to try the place closest to me. I ordered on DoorDash and it took about 15/20 mins to complete the order. Upon entry the guy at the counter was unnecessarily rude. He asked me what my name was, no greeting nothing, then I told him my name and he just stared at me implying that he needed to see my phone. After confirmation he practically threw me my bag. The food was pretty decent, bourbon chicken (3/5). Fried chicken shrimp fried rice (4/5). Needless to say I won't be returning b/c of that guy. I ordered my food egg foo young and veg fried rice. Hopping that the mysterious nature of Asian restaurants having very good wings was no coincidence so I asked afterwards if they could give me instead of a six full order wing just one or two so that I can try to know whether or not their wings were superior wings. And this is usually based on Asian restaurants using the different oil as well as marinating it with soy sauce, garlic, and possibly ginger to create a completely different pallet and flavor for the wings. However, I was surprised that she would not allow me one or two wings it was either or the wings or you cannot try so I decided then to not try. My feelings were a little hurt. I told her I'm the Customer you're right across from the hospital. There are individuals who upon referral would love to come for these chicken wings. Quick Chinese run while hanging around the hospital. I called over and ordered chicken and broccoli in garlic sauce with fried rice and an egg roll for dinner. I was quoted 10/15 minutes and the order was ready when I arrived within that time. They offer soy sauce, duck sauce and hot mustard as your complimentary condiments however I'm a chili oil and shrimp sauce type of girl so I had to pay extra. This is a no frills Chinese togo spot. If i could could give a higher rating I would. This is hands down the BEST asian food I have had. The staff is extremely friendly and has very quick service. The beef lo mein is sooo good, the beef just melts in your mouth. It's a super cute little hole in the wall with a few tables to dine in. This food was absolutely disgusting!! I ordered a lunch special of the beef and broccoli and I couldn't even finish it. Since when does beef and broccoli come with mushrooms? Never in my life, have I EVER had mushrooms in my beef and broccoli. There were more mushrooms than beef. The favor was gross and the broccoli was soggy. Small little Asian restaurant located on Park road in Pineville . Mostly take out orders. I've had mixed feelings about this place but for the most part the food is good. Seems to be pretty consistent on the food . Always very tasty and good portions. Most folks are calling in and picking up. There is delivery available and that also seems popular. Rarely have I seen anyone eating in the restaurant. The rating is A 91.5 . Barely an A but it is still nonetheless an A. Again food is good ... So I will change my rating to 4 stars as this is a good restaurant. Just kinda minimal for a diner restaurant. Three tables and usually one table is full of employees stuff on it. read more

I really don't know where these negative reviews came from. From the competition maybe? In any event, I would disregard them as far as the food goes. It is true that there are only a couple small tables in the place. This is an outstanding Chinese take out place! I have never had delivery from them so I can't speak to that but everything that I have had from them has been delicious! The serving sizes are quite large so the value is there too! I usually call in my order and it's always ready when I get there. I sometimes go early to pick up my food so that I can watch them cook through the kitchen window. Things have changed here... now I'm on the hunt for a new chinese place that I can rely on for good flavor and consistency. Once upon a time it was a fully staffed with native chinese people; cooking, taking orders, delivering and the food was awesome! But over the past several months, the quality of the food and the accuracy and speed of service has diminished. I felt embarrassed recommending this restaurant to my friends who then complained to me about wrong orders, mediocre food and sloooooowness. I also started noticing the same faults and I believe that either it has changed ownership/management and now when I stop in to order, it his Hispanic men cooking in the kitchen. Anybody of any nationality CAN cook any food, no problem. But if it's not good it's just not good! Bring your old cooks back, please! read more

With meat in the wonton about half the size of a thimble, no salt or flavor. slimy, not the good type the way egg drop is supposed to be like, velvety and sumptuous. It's more the consistency of snot. I don't even know how to make it like that if I was trying on purpose. The spicy chicken curry they said was already spicy when asked to make it spicy; no heat at all. Also, you can barely taste the curry flavor, like theyre running low on seasoning and use sparingly. The kitchen and it's chef is lackluster at best and really needs a vacation. Maybe permanent would be smarter. Go to a cooking class. at least watch an episode of Gordon Ramsey for gods' sake.
