Never use this place. They totally rob you. It winds up being $3 to print a single sheet of paper because they don't tell you that you have to pay for a minimum of ten minutes on the internet to use their printing. If they want to charge that much, fine, but be honest about your pricing. Also, I once tried to ship something within New York City and they tried to charge me $90. This place is insane. read more

By far the Worstadt store to try and finish anything! It's hilarious how expensive the printing is and "FedEx" services and on the low quality. If the let even accept to take your return (not gonna happen every time) their scanner won't work so no way to use qr's. Avoid if you can. read more

DON'T GO!!! I took photos here and it turned out to be the worst experience I ever had. The owner is unacceptably rude. Although they claim and advertise that they take photos for passport/visa, they have absolutely no idea about the requirements and randomly take disqualified photos. When I went back to ask for a reshoot, they still charged me (and 20 bucks for one photo is too pricey). When I tried to argue about the disqualified photos they took, he aggressively shouted at me in an unprofessional way. He claimed that his iob was merely to press the button on the camera, instead of making sure the result fits any requirement. If you want a photo, go visit somewhere else. As far as I know, the duane reade across the street also takes photos. read more

And I just learned that they also do passport photos, which was great to find out since I had a negative experience at the Pro Image shop on Broadway in the 90's. Nannu, the owner of Copy Concepts, is lovely: professional, kind, and meticulous in everything he and his employees do. I've been going there for years and their service has remained stellar year after year. This place deserves so many more stars! I used Best Copy and Shipping the other day for a huge shipping order. I had 9 large boxes that needed to be shipped cross country for cheap, each weighing an average of 50-60lbs. The great dilemma of the day was, how was I to get these boxes 10 streets uptown to their storefront in order for them to be processed? Now, when I initially called Best Copy and Shipping for a quote, they specifically told me they don't offer pick up service and that that would have to be requested through FedEx directly. However, after I finalized my decision to utilize their services, I asked Nannu, the manager, if I could borrow their dolly in order to attempt to bring in the boxes myself. Nannu told me to hang on and that he'd call me back in a bit. About 30 minutes later, Nannu called back and said that they could send some employees with their dolly to pick up the boxes for me! So when the two guys, Arafat and Matthews, arrive, they get right down to business hauling and heaving my boxes with the enthusiasm and strength of professional movers. We then inch our way uptown, balancing our tower of boxes precariously and jolting over every curb and pothole. By the time we finally get to our destination, the poor men are exhausted but still all smiles and good humor. They even offered us some water! Once inside, I met Nannu in person and he was quick, efficient, and understanding while putting through our paperwork. They had several customers come in and out, crowding the tiny storefront, but concluded their business politely and efficiently with every one. Insanely expensive for very little service. Due to their bizarre pricing it is "cheaper" to print 26 pages at $7.50 than 25 at $12. In fact, for any amount of pages over 13 you're better off printing 26. A scan is literally $2 a page. Go pretty much anywhere else. Columbia copy, fedex, wherever. read more

I only use this service because of its convenient location. I have been using the service for years and watched it grow and change hands. It seems to be a family owned business. What a miserable family. The staff is rude and not helpful and their prices are outrageous. It is such a shame because it is a beautiful facility and a great location. A word of warning if you are shipping overseas with this service. I arranged to ship a parcel via their FedEx service and asked if there would be additional charges overseas, I. e., customs/taxes. I was told that it was all taken care of through my payment -which came to over $100.00 in shipping charges. My recipient in France was unable to pick up the package - a wedding gift from me - until she forked over 82 euros. Personnel at Best Copy & Shipping did not inform me that this would happen and washed their hands of any responsibility. FedEx itself told me that this business is not one of their official authorized agents. There is no way for a customer to know this since they have FedEx signs posted in their windows. But today they double charged me knowing that I had made more expensive purchases for my boss in the past. They milked me for money I don't have and I'm very unhappy about it. The pricing is exorbitant. They didn't give me a quote on anything until it was all printed and the price lists are tiny and inconveniently placed so it's hard to see.
