Please please take my warning. This was quite literally the most uncomfortable and terrible experience I've had with a company ever. The first man I spoke to was actually really nice. He quoted us our price and scheduled everything out. They proceeded to charge us double and never return the money. They then damaged so much of our stuff and even ran the truck into our house! They had us quote out everything they damaged to replace and of course never responded. That's when the nastiness began. They were extremely rude and hard to get ahold of. I called everyday for weeks. Either to no answer or no solution. The movers even called us to ask for money at the gas station to cover their snacks lol. As a woman I was not only uncomfortable, but felt taken advantage of. They DID NOT FINISH THE JOB and we had to hire another moving company to be out by our deadline because the movers were complaining they were tired. Anyways, book carefully and keep this in mind. They talk the talk, but do not walk the walk. I signed with this company because I was reassured I would get professional service, integrity, and a better experience than with other movers who supposedly damage items, damage walls, leave jobs incomplete, and create unnecessary stress. Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened here. The crew arrived about an hour late. More importantly, my written quote stated 4 movers and 2 trucks (hence why it was a higher quote), but only 1 truck arrived, which meant multiple trips and much less efficiency (two hours wasted in transit alone). I was also told furniture would be disassembled and reassembled, but several items were left unfinished, including my sectional, which was not properly put back together after the steel connectors were bent during the move. It took us over an hour to rebend the metal and get it assembled ourselves. I also had to spend much of my weekend fixing things they left incomplete instead of unpacking. Some furniture was still wrapped, some heavier pieces were not properly put back together, and I documented damage to both walls and furniture. The movers themselves worked hard, and I still tipped $300 & bought them lunch. My issue is with the company, not the crew at this moment. The company oversold the service, underdelivered, and left me with the exact kind of experience they promised they would prevent. The accountability that the owner didn't take to appropriately fix everything Saturday & Sunday leaving me with all this stress is what shocked me the most. I hired Best Deal Movers for a small move (a dining room set and a bedroom set) from Roswell to Acworth. Jeff was great on the front end - communicative and quick to follow up. I wasn't sure when I was going to be able to schedule this move but he called/texted me weekly until I booked. My move was scheduled for 5/21/2026 and I called Jeff the day before to get an idea of when I could expect them as my sister-in-law was meeting them at the original location so I could be ready for them to get the stuff to my house. Jeff indicated that they had "one small job" that morning and would come to us right after. He said they'd be here "early afternoon". He also said that the driver would call me 45 minutes ahead to let us know they were on the way. That way, Jeff said, there wasn't someone sitting there waiting all day. Great! By 2pm, we hadn't heard anything so I texted Jeff. He responded 30 minutes later saying that the driver would be calling me "shortly". Another 2 hours later, still nothing so I texted him again. He responded 30 minutes later with "has he contacted you as of yet?" No, Jeff, hence my text. My SIL had to leave so my mother went over to wait on them. Then she had to leave so my brother went over and waited. Four people sitting around waiting all day. I called and texted Jeff but he didn't answer the phone, call or text me back. I assumed they'd just no-showed but then the driver calls me at 7pm saying they'd be there in 20 minutes. They showed up an hour later (glad my brother was still there), got to my house after 9pm, unloaded and left after 10pm. I will say that the driver (Jordan) and his partner (didn't get his name) were both very friendly given what I'm sure was a long day for them but that's where my positive comments end. Jeff, who couldn't be bothered to offer any kind of update throughout the day was very quick to answer the driver's call to take my credit card payment. Once they left, I noticed that the piece of glass that goes on the dresser was missing so I reached out to Jeff and the driver the next day. Jeff never responded. The driver was working and said he'd check the truck later. Never heard back from him either. It was Memorial Day weekend and I remembered Jeff telling me they are a veteran owned business so I waited to follow up again on Tuesday. Jeff answered, said he'd ask about my glass and call me back. He didn't nor did he apologize for any inconvenience, misunderstanding or otherwise. I called again the next day, spoke with Sabrina from the front desk (also very nice) who had Jeff in the background relaying messages about how I file a claim. Then I realized that I was overcharged by $70 so I reached back out again, got no response and have since disputed the charge with my credit card company. We've had two deaths in our family since last May so we are working on moving furniture from house to house. Between us, we had three moves scheduled with Best Deal Movers. My uncle used them first a couple of months prior but didn't mention the bad experience he had because he assumed it was a one-off. In his case, they first showed up on the wrong day and then no-showed on the right day because someone was sick. I wouldn't have booked had I known about his issues. My aunt was scheduled to have her stuff moved this week but Jeff never responded to her calls, texts, or e-mails to confirm so she's rescheduled with a different company. Note: she lives a couple hours away and while she was hesitant to use Best Deal after my experience, she was going to give them the benefit of the doubt. But Jeff couldn't be bothered so she's moved on. Moving is stressful. Planning for moving is a logistical headache. Jeff's text to me after we originally spoke read "we take pride in providing excellent customer service". Really?? He's certainly excellent at avoiding responsibility, accountability, honesty and integrity but that's about it. Beware. Don't do it. The bottom line up front is that this firm: - Damaged several of our items - Charged us more than their estimate - Did not arrive or finish on time for the pack out - Did not arrive on the scheduled delivery date - Was consistently rude, hard to reach, hostile; they rarely answered their phone and refused to speak with us when we tried to call on our pack out day. - They ran out of packing supplies and were rough and careless with our items. - Refused to clean up empty boxes, despite promising to do so when they pitched us - Refused to assemble our kitchen table even though that was part of the deal - Left most of our stuff in the driveway. Refused to finish the move. The second they got paid, they pretty much stopped working. Let's get into more details: Second, I hired this company for an interstate move. The packers arrived and presented unusual paperwork that had terms different than what I was expecting. The form said to immediately call their office to resolve any questions. However, when we called, no one answered. We emailed. No one answered. We asked the team lead Kevin to have the office contact us so we could resolve our questions; he refused. Ultimately, we had to be out of the rental home as their was a new tenant moving in that day so we had no choice but to sign the paperwork presented (under duress) so the movers would pack our things. We felt this was a manipulative and intentional tactic. Third, the packing team did not have sufficient packing supplies, resulting in several items being put loose on the truck with no box and no protective material at all. They ran out of boxes despite the total weight of our move being far lower than their estimate. We have several photos to document and prove that they did not follow common sense or industry norms when packing our things. In one case, we found a single, small item inside of a huge, sealed box. In other cases, things were thrown into a box with no protection at all (like paper, bubble wrap etc.). When we asked them why, they said they had no idea that our items would be stored for 5 weeks. Fourth, one of the team members just hung out, and did little or perhaps no packing. I believe he was under the influence. We asked that this team have no further contact with me or my wife, and not be involved with the delivery of our items. The firm sent him as the team lead for the delivery anyway, ignoring our request and making us extremely uncomfortable. Fifth, the team refused to take inventory or maintain an inventory list, and the team refused to number the boxes. The team left without a word and provided us no paperwork. I emailed the firm and called, and did not hear back from anyone for four weeks. About one month after the packout, and 5 days before the move, Best deal movers called us and asked to shift the delivery date from 1 November to 31 October. I also received a text and an email indicating the move would take place on October 31st. Although this was extremely inconvenient and would cause me to miss both work and an important deadline for graduate school, I agreed to the change given how acrimonious things had been. I thought being agreeable might help. Unfortunately, on the 31st, the moving company never showed up. I called repeatedly but no one answered the phone at the office. Toward the end of the day, we were informed that the team would not be coming until 1 November. Further, the company demanded a certified check (higher than the amount of their original estimate) to deliver our goods. This felt like we were being extorted. Similar to their pick up, they provided no notice, an ultimatum and no time to consult with our attorney to find out if we should pre-pay in full with a certified check. We offered to pay in full with a credit card, but they refused. We offered to pay with a certified check after they delivered our goods so we could inspect for damage, but they refused. We felt we had no choice but to pay them and then fight with them to recover damages after the fact. When they arrived at our home, they refused to unload unless we signed new paperwork, which we had never seen, requesting changes to the move. They said if we didn't sign it immediately without reading, they would not deliver. They said if we took time to read it, they would charge us extra for extra time for the move. An impossible situation. We paid for them to reassemble furniture, but they refused to reassemble our kitchen table. We paid for them to take away empty boxes, but they refused and left the home a mess. read more

I want to write about my stressful experience with Best Deal Movers LLC. Terrible customer service. What started out nice over a two-day pack-move turned into hours of frustration, mishandling, unprofessional packing. Throwing my stuff in boxes any which way; filled oil lamps laid sideways and the oil leaked out over several boxes and ruined the other things packed in the box; paying for junk removal and then leaving several boxes of junk at the house; not enough room in the truck for my belongings so my best friend and I are now forced to go back and forth to move it ourselves. When I called to complain, blowing me off. Alyssa sends me a damage claim form but how do you put a value on these things? I asked for a $250 credit off the $2600 they made off of me and it's been radio silence. Michael assured me they were family-owned and a class act and that was not evident. Do not use this company under any circumstances!!!! I used them because they were substantially below other quotes I received. I was told to give them my card and sign a contract that stated if there was expenses incurred over and above what was quoted they would bill for that. That being said my $1283.00 quote went to $2000.00 bill. The receipt stated additional hour incurred and a 4 man crew instead of a 3 man crew that was used. I would not recommend this moving company. Working with Best Deal Movers was the worst moving experience I've ever had for the following reasons: 1) they increased my rate at the last minute due to a change in the # of days it would take to perform the long-distance move when they knew 9 months ahead of time of my destination location. 2) The movers arrived an hour and a half later than their scheduled arrival window and I had to call the main office to inquire of their whereabouts and anticipated arrival time. Their lateness caused my entire moving schedule to get behind and caused the cleaning service to not have access to clean all areas of the house and it prevented my carpet cleaning guy from starting on time. 3) One of the movers they sent out was VERY unprofessional. He was flirting with the cleaning service professional, walking through the house talking to himself, cursing, and throwing boxes around. He was NOT a professional mover. He looked and acted like someone they had just found on the street who needed work for the day. 4) Due to the truck not originally being packed right, I had to leave my grill because there was no space left to put it on the truck. To rectify this, they did end up repacking the truck once they got it to their storage facility-at my expense, but by that time, it was too late because I could no longer get my grill. if they had packed the truck right from the beginning, there would have been more than enough space for all of my items. 5) The "managers" at the main office will completely ignore your calls and lie and say that they are going to return your calls and won't. They intentionally come up with excuses not to take your call because they do not want to deal with issues that their company is responsible for. Specifically, Jackie, the "customer service" manager, is the worst of them all. She does not follow through with what she says she is going to do and will relay messages that she will call you back and won't - UNLESS you are calling to give them a payment. But, if your call is to attempt to resolve an issue, you will get completely ignored and dismissed. 6) A 15 inch hole was put in the wall due to a nightstand rolling off the dolly, down a flight of stairs and hit the wall at the base of the stairwell. However, the company did reimburse for the wall damage. But, the point, is that it never should've happened in the first place if the company had sent out ALL professional movers. Dealing with Best Deal Movers has been a horrific and traumatic experience. Moving is already stressful enough. They may give you a cheaper rate, but I would've gladly had paid more to a different company if I knew what I was going to have to endure in working with these people. The people in the main office have no sympathy if things go wrong with your move. This is the worst moving company I've ever dealt with. They broke my table and then tried to tape it up to hide the damage! Also, the leather on my couch is torn in two places as well! My table has to be replaced along with my living room couch! These two young men had ONE JOB TO DO! When they saw how upset I was about it they jumped in the truck and high tailed it out of there! No stars is exactly what this company deserves. We hired this company to move our 1 bedroom apartment on Wednesday Nov 29. We have the entire apartment packed up and ready to go for the movers. Everything was in boxes besides our large mirror, sofa, vanity, tv stand, coffee table, and two small dressers. When booking this company we were quoted for a 3 hour job. We payed a deposit and was asked to pay the rest and the end of the move. On the day of the move, the movers showed up late but that was no big deal. My girlfriend and I were patient and understanding. The move started roughly around 10:30am and it took them until around 4:30 pm to load the truck. They claimed the walkability was the issue and that's what took them so long to pack a 1 bedroom apartment. Once the truck was loaded they informed us they had to get some food and would be to the drop off location within the hour. We call the movers after waiting TWO hours to only learn one of the movers had quit and they were taking the truck with ALL our furniture back to shop. After waiting for what seemed like forever the truck finally shows up with the company's Operating Manager William Bullard. The move took a total of 12 HOURS! Once they were finished William proceeds to tell us that our quote had doubled! And but we would be allowed to make payments since we hadn't planned to pay that much to start. Once the movers left we realized they left our LARGE mirror on their truck. We called the next day and was told by the other manager Aaron Becker that they would have our mirror to us by the following Saturday. We then received a call from William on that Friday trying to set up a payment plan for the remaining balance. We agreed on $50 a month until the balanced was paid in full. Keep in mind they still had our mirror. We heard nothing about the mirror over the weekend. So we called back on Monday, Dec 4th and talked to William. He stated he could get the mirror out to us by Thursday. Went to check my account on Wednesday and the remaining balance had been deducted even though William and I agreed to have the mirror delivered and the payment plan honored. We called William back to get the situation rectified and was told our payment plan would no longer be honored. PLEASE PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMING UNRELIABLE COMPANY! DO NOT HIRE "BEST DEAL MOVERS." Our family had the worst moving experience. If you care for your personal belongings, do not trust them with going anywhere near your home. The sales representatives were easily reachable via phone and email up until the point we hired them. After that, they disappeared and didn't respond to our messages via email nor phone when we started seeing issues with the movers and how they were handling our belongings. We moved from Georgia to Michigan. The two movers arrived on September 12, 2023 to load the truck. Right from the start, they were arguing about who should do what. They were unprofessional, careless, and lacked customer service skills. Here are some of the things we encountered with this company: -The movers placed boxes clearly marked "FRAGILE" upside down. -The company did not provide experienced movers. Our movers did not know how to properly pack a truck. -The company did not provide an adequate number of movers to handle the move. We asked for 3 movers and they provided 2. One of the movers had been away from work for 10 months and this was his first moving job upon returning to work as he stated to us the evening of September 13, 2023. -The salesperson (Aaron) who came to the property to assess the inventory did not make an accurate assessment or all of our items would have fit in the truck. -We have photos of our experience with Best Deal Movers, LLC which clearly support negligence, lack of respect, and carelessness shown towards our personal property. -One of the guys moved a dresser from the second floor down the stairs by himself, without any kind of protection around the dresser, or even anything to keep the drawers from opening. When I saw him struggling, I offered to help, and we managed to get the dresser down to the ground floor. He did not wrap it to protect it before loading it in the truck. -Without asking, the movers went into the garage and borrowed my tools to disassemble two beds upstairs. They left all the screws and the tools in a pile on the bedroom floor. -The movers broke a blind in our rental townhome and did not apologize or offer to pay to replace it. -At one point, I asked them how they were going to manage to put all the items that were still inside the house in the truck. Their answer was: "We'll figure it out." Then I overheard them discuss the size of the truck being too small. Someone from the company had previously come to our house to see all of our items and give us a quote. We do not understand why the company sent a truck that could not accommodate all of our belongings. -The movers left even after I told them about the items still left in the house. --There were Items left in the driveway, bedrooms, office, and a closet. -They also left their moving supplies behind: a blanket, plastic wrap, and boxes. -The two movers arrived at our new house in Michigan in the early evening (close to 6:00pm) of September 13, 2023. My family and I could not believe what we saw when the movers opened the back of the truck. Furniture and items were stuffed into the truck at all different angles. Two legs of a desk had collapsed under the weight of a dresser that they put on top of it. It looked like a scene from the junkyard on "Sanford and Son." -My daughter offered them protein bars and they threw paper wrappers in the driveway of our new home. Left empty water bottles on the fireplace mantel. Totally disrespectful. -My wife spoke with one of the movers and told him we were not going to pay for the balance in full as we wanted to do an assessment first of the damaged items. -The movers placed a phone call to their manager, Will. The movers refused to finish unloading the truck without us paying them in full. -It was close to 10:30pm and they still had not reassembled the bed or put the mirror on the dresser. At this point we just wanted them to leave and that is exactly what they did! -The movers moved multiple damaged items (filing box, storage bins, storage bench, office desk) into the garage. -The following items are missing: Air fryer in the original box, rubber gym flooring, box with kitchen items including a wok and my mother's antique rolling pin, box containing my wedding gown and 3 formal gowns. -Several kitchen boxes which were clearly labeled "FRAGILE and KITCHEN" were left in the bedroom upside down. When we opened them, we discovered broken dishes, glasses, etc. -The screen of a boxed, flat screen TV was damaged and unable to be repaired. Other pieces of furniture, many of which were purchased less than a year ago, and which the movers did not take time to wrap, have multiple, significant scratches and/or missing legs. This was my second move with them. The first move was great. No complaint. But, on the second move, I discovered a screen tear in my 43" smart tv. I reported it the next day, during their follow up call. They sent me a claim for, but lied and said that the tv was not moved by them and refused to honor the claim. I am out of a $200 tv. Best Deal Movers is out of the six referrals I had given them, after I told my friends and relatives what they did. Monty and Jose took care of my move a few weeks ago! MONTY AND JOSE! So awesome, so safe, so efficient, so friendly. I only needed big furniture moved from my old place to my new place about 10 minutes/3 miles away. They were safe and thoughtful and got the job done quick. I had a tricky staircase in my old home and they worked together to make sure no damage was done to the walls nor my furniture. I work nights and am not a morning person, and this was an 8am job, but I found myself joking with them! They dismantled and rebuilt my bed - something I have done myself with help from friends for years (albeit, after days or weeks of aligning help for that) and didn't expect a moving crew to do :') It was so nice to be able to sleep in my own bed on the first day after move in... not just a mattress on the floor. ALL THAT TO SAY I had a great experience, and have already recommended Best Deal Movers to friends. Ask for Monty and Jose, I'm biased of course, but they really did a great job in my experience. PS- Unfortunately Monty hit his head on his head hard out the door as we said our goodbyes (I moved into a really weird basement apartment with low ceilings!) This is a summary of what took place on or May 2nd, 2023, with a moving company we hired to move our household belongings from our previous home in Kennesaw, GA to our new home in Flowery Branch, GA...THERE WAS MUCH MORE DAMAGE TO OUR FURNITURE, BY FAR, THAN THE MOVE COST. We had hired "Best Deal Movers" and they showed up in the morning of May 2nd at our Kennesaw home. Right away, I could tell this was not a professional moving group but a ragtag group of guys hired for muscles, not brains. They entered the house and right away the words "Handle With Care" was not a term that any of them were familiar with. My wife and I heard constant banging as stuff was thrown around, bounced off the floor and carelessly handled. Boxes that had fragile items and were clearly labeled "FRAGILE" were thrown over their shoulders and rushed out to their truck as if they were sacks of potatoes. They were in a big hurry! They didn't have moving blankets like every other moving company I have seen. They had glorified clear wrap that made every piece of furniture vulnerable to bumps, bruises, scraping, and susceptible to being "skinned" on any corners or surfaces that touched other furniture, walls, floors or parts of their truck during transit. Before going into deeper detail and before sharing all the pictures from this disaster, I will sum up our experience this way: I discussed my extreme displeasure with the supposed leader of this group. His name was Kasim or Kaheem, I don't remember and I may have the spelling totally wrong. When "finished" he had asked me if I was still paying by check, when I told him I had written him a check for $500 as a good faith payment and they would get the rest when I was satisfied and all of the furniture that they damaged was "made whole" or replaced. He said "don't pay anything right now." After I took him around to all the furniture and we took pictures of the pieces that were damaged, which was 80% minimum, he said he was going to take pictures with his iPad, which he did. He took a minimum of 30 close up pictures, and probably more. He said in plain language for my wife and I both to hear, and I am paraphrasing..."Here's what's going to happen...I'm going to talk to my manager, show him the pictures, and he will contact you to discuss. We will send a furniture specialist out to see the damage and have him / her fix it and repair what they can and then discuss what further steps need to be taken to make things acceptable. " As of today, June 7th, 2023 we have not heard from the manager, we have not heard from Kasim (Kaheem), and we have not heard from any other person from the company. No phone calls, no texts and no emails. I, on May 5th called Chase to dispute the charge that we saw placed on out account that I did not approve, did not sign and would never have until the matter was acceptably resolved. "Best Deal Movers" had the audacity and cowardice to charge us but not take the matter seriously enough to try to settle with the understand that sometimes accidents happen and something might get damaged. It's not a perfect business; however, the overwhelming majority of the damage was directly related to carelessness and total lack of caring. And most of our belongings and furniture were damaged. Now, to discuss in detail what happened at the new house that caused all of this. I specifically made the suggestion and request that they come around back with the furniture, and instead of trying to bring these items in through the regular doors, that they bring the items through the huge sliding glass door on the patio which is 6 feet wide when opened. One of these inexperienced movers (he told me he had been with the company 2 weeks) said out loud directly to me "that would only make it harder" for them. I thought "Excuse me...but I am trying to protect our furniture" and it's crystal clear that their method didn't include that. They continued to bring furniture and other belongings through the front door and the door leading from the house into the garage, and 'to hell with my request!' * The wood floors were damaged and scratched in several different places. * The wall coming in to the house from the garage was badly dented and the metal floor piece leading from the garage was dented during the move. * The 4 poster bed collapsed while we were sleeping the second night. The frame was bent and warped due to the way they set it up and we have already replaced it. * The chest of drawers has several "skint" places on it and cannot acceptably be repaired. We have already replaced it, too. * The dresser was damaged in several places. It has been replaced. * The bedside tables were scratched and damaged. We have replaced them. * The coffee table - skinned and scratched in several places and cannot be used. We have already bought another one to replace it, as well. I've used all room allowed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Very unprofessional and will scam you. Using this company was such a traumatic experience for me I really can't even get into all the details without getting too worked up - here are the high points: -Overcharged my initial moving quote by $500 -Damaged several boxes and property pieces -Left several items that did not make it to the final location -Stepped on permanent red acrylic paint in the elevator - I asked them not to move anything so I could clean it, they continued to track it through the elevator, main hallways, and into my unit - carpet REPLACEMENT was required -Would not move their truck back 10 feet to comply with property management and the police were almost called -Disrespectful and rude to the property management who was trying to work with them -Damaged a security camera with their truck -Did not finish moving me into my contracted location -STOLE several valuable items including a large TV and my college diploma. I had 3 people including crew leader confirm they checked the truck and my items were gone, only for them to mysteriously appear a month later after threatening lawyers and a police report -Did not finish moving me into my contracted location -Operations promised over and over they understood the damage and trouble they had caused and promised me a refund only to deny it later. I can not express it enough - DO NOT use this company. Even a "bad move" shouldn't go this badly. They will swear up and down they work as professionals to take care of you, but they have no problem hiring unqualified movers, not taking responsibility for the damage they cause, and then overcharging you for it. read more

Best Deal Movers are terrible. They showed up and then left after 10-mins. Said they would be back and never showed up, never answered the phone and when I called the office the next day I was faced with abusive talk from the manager - William. He was horrible, and the receptionist put the phone down on me numerous times. These people obviously lie to the company owners. I have never dealt with such a disorganized company in my entire life. Do yourself a favor and go with someone else. The people are are running the company to the ground. But it is the owners fault because they don't respond or listen to customers. And then I was told by William I woulnd't get my deposit back - EVEN WHEN THEY HAD NOT DONE THE WORK. What a joke this company is. Go to Home Depot!! We had Alan and Brooks on our job, and they were exceptional! We were thankful to have Best Deal Movers accommodate us after another company canceled on us at the last minute, delaying our move by two days. There were a few complications, however. Our move was a relatively straightforward local one from a two-bedroom in Dallas to a one-bedroom in Kennesaw. The items in question were primarily the heavier pieces, such as a sofa, chair, and dressers, and did not include any boxes, as we had moved our boxes ourselves before the move date. We were originally quoted for three hours of labor after an itemized list of our belongings was drafted, and the estimate included the fact that the new apartment would be located on the third floor of the building. We were assured that a three-hour interval would be plenty of time given the items we would be moving into the new unit. To our surprise, however, the movers were completely unfamiliar with how to fill out the electronic documentation. Although this is no fault of their own, they spent the first 20-30 minutes of paid labor attempting to contact the office for directions before they even had a vague idea of what items they were expected to load onto their truck. Our commute to Kennesaw was about 30 minutes, so by the time we arrived at the new apartment, we had used up roughly two hours of an estimated three-hour job. At this point, the movers allegedly contacted the office again, suggesting the unloading process would take about two hours. While I understand that jobs can sometimes take longer than anticipated, I noticed that sometime after this phone call, my debit card had been charged for 4.5 hours before the unloading was halfway completed, about 2.5 hours into the move. Not only this, but I also received a text message asking, "How was [my] move?" and soliciting feedback. I was told that this was standard procedure, as debit cards have been known to decline at the opportune moment, but I don't think this was necessary after having paid a $200 deposit, especially when the job wasn't complete! Although the move indeed took about four and a half hours total, I contacted the office asking for a refund for the time that was wasted attempting to contact management. While I was guaranteed a refund for 30 minutes, I had to badger them for a couple of days in order to receive it. Overall, I would recommend Best Deal Movers to anyone looking to move in a pinch. Still, I would beware of the time-sensitive nature of the expenses you will incur because each additional hour for us was getting close to an extra $200, which can make or break a moving budget. I'm not familiar enough with the industry to know whether this is standard, but $1,000 for a local move of 15 or so items seems a little steep. This deserves to gets zero stars and was the worst company I have ever worked with. They showed up late to move us, James and Alex took ALL day to move a one bedroom apartment, then one of them i believe it was James quit in the middle of the job and in all it took them 12 hours to ultimately move us.Then they double our quote AND left my mirror on their truck. On top of that Will said we could arrange a payment plan since they doubled our quote but then charged my card for the full amount anyway. This whole experience was absolutely terrible and they will be taken to magistrate court. I will be posting this review everywhere and Please stay away from this sorry ass company. read more

WARNING - DO NOT USE BEST DEAL MOVERS AND STORAGE My move was May 31, 2024 WARNING - Do not expect any customer service from this company after the move. Two of the movers they sent were untrained and unable to perform and then they charged me over $1600 more than quoted. Original quote was for $3235. Over charge of 50%! The scheduling team, estimator and the move team were very respectful and three of the moving team were clearly experienced and able to perform. Two of the team struggled so much I had to help unload. Don't be fooled into hiring this company based on the before move team. The post move customer service is horrible! I had to call multiple times to try to resolve this. I called their main office and Will, who said he is responsible for charges, was told by his boss they would not make any adjustments. They have to pay their team, so they would not make a change. I asked to speak to his boss and was told he does not keep normal office hours. They were only moving furniture, no boxes. All furniture was broken down and ready to move. They came to the hose performed an estimate and missed it by more than 50%. Clearly bait and switch.
