Such a sweet lady behind the counter. Still cash only. Lots of parking! We got five donuts and a cinnamon apple bear claw for $12.60. Small older shop that's clean. All the donuts looked fresh. We went at 1030 and they had a full stock of donuts. The maple bars were delicious and so was the bear claw. Glaze and sugar were excellent too!She was nice enough to give us donut holes on the house as first time customers. This tiny little donut shop and its owner are amazing! Amazing customer service and even better donuts. They're freshly made, doughy and chewy at the same time and have the perfect amount of sweetness. There's a huge variety of donuts so there's something for everyone. The only caveat is, bring cash. They do not accept credit cards. Wells Fargo is just across the street though so don't fret if you never have cash on hand like me. Definitely check out this little gem! read more

I visited Best Donuts for the first time this past weekend and had a great first visit! The donuts were fully stocked at 8am on Saturday morning. We ordered a variety of donuts so that we could taste the different types that they had. We ordered a chocolate chip roll, a buttermilk bar, a chocolate cake, a vanilla cake, a maple bar, a tiger tail, and a maple bar. Every donut was fresh. The cake donuts were surprisingly good because they were not dry. The buttermilk bar was one of our favorites and had great flavor. We also really enjoyed the chocolate chip roll, which I recommend for chocolate-lovers. These donuts were also very reasonably priced! Each regular donut is $1.50 and each fancy(think apple fritter, bear claw, etc)is $3 each. I think Dunkin is overrated (sorry East Coast people!), and I am a big Krispy Kreme fan, but they're too far away. I found this place on Yelp and saw that it had a bunch of great reviews, so I decided to give it a try. I showed tremendous restraint by ordering only two donuts- blueberry cake and raspberry filled. I heated them up in the microwave at home because I prefer a hot donut, and OH MY GOODNESS!! They absolutely melted in my mouth. They were surprisingly light, not oily at all, and they tasted really fresh. I'm pretty particular when it comes to jelly filled donuts because the filling is usually artificial tasting and gelatinous. However, their raspberry jam tasted wonderful. The lady who helped me was very sweet and the shop looked clean. Does this place have the huge selection and wow factor that many chain donut shops offer? No, but who cares? Quality over quantity.
