We had an infestation of wasps on an exterior wall; wasps started to come through the drywall into my office. Two men from BEST came, suited up, and took care of the problem professionally--got rid of the queen to make sure the workers don't return and eradicated the hive altogether. Very knowledgeable. I own a 2nd home that I like to visit between short term rentals. Our service started out good for many years. They were good about keeping up on appointments and easy to deal with. One weekend I came to stay I recently discovered an infestation of critters in my storage areas. I heard huge ones one night creeping around at 4 am freaking me the heck out. The next day I checked the storage area and the amount of feces was unforgettable! BEST was supposed to be coming monthly. If they had they would have noticed the new infestation, and let me know additional remediation needed to be done. Even worse, 1-2 months before, I specifically asked them to check those storage areas due to an unusual odor. So they should have checked and they should have seen THIS MESS. I was terrified and disgusted by the feces. Little children play up near those areas. I had to cancel all renters coming in until I could get this properly remediated. I lost out on rental income, the cost of cleaning and remediation, had to put up security cameras and had no desire to stay in my home. This could have been prevented! What was I paying a monthly service for? What were they actually doing!? I wonder if they were actually coming to the house, so now I had to put up security cameras. What's worse is when I contacted them they did not explain why this was missed or why I wasn't contacted about the incredible amount of feces that wasn't there when I hired them years ago. This wasn't preexisting. I know! I dug toys out of there when I moved in! I really think they should have called and said "hey, we aren't controlling this and it's getting worse. We have to close off some holes and do a clean up and it is x amount". Why would they let this keep happening? What is their role as a pest exterminator??? I'm still so angry about this. It took me a few weeks to write this review. I wanted to be fair to this small business. The new company I hired came in and closed some holes ., set a ton of amazing traps and the biggest issue was a missing vent cover. DONT YOU THINK THAT WAS AN EASY FIX? why wouldn't BEST pickup on that?! I saw the vent with my own eyes, if a tech was walking around the house they would see it too. I hired BEST to feel safe, not violated. Fail. Over the years they fit about $1000 of my money and I'm not sure anything was being done. read more

The tech who took care of my house was very nice- but the woman who runs the place and schedule appointments (I believe she's the owner) is the rudest, most unprofessional person I've have EVER encountered. Not just once or twice- consistently. Phone calls are not returned or if they are, she is dismissive and acts as if she is being inconvenienced. She should fire herself and hire someone who gives a damn if she wants to save her business. BUYER BEWARE. read more

I'd heard good things about this company but was very disappointed with my experience. They failed to show up for my original appointment because apparently no one had actually written it down. These things do happen, so we rescheduled for two days later when they failed to show up AGAIN. I was really anxious to have my ant problem taken care of, so I made a third appointment for later that same day despite my misgivings. When that service window came and went without anyone coming or calling to tell me they were going to be late, I gave up. Maybe they do good work when they actually make it but it's not worth the aggravation you'll experience from their disorganization and lackadaisical attitude toward wasting their customers' time. read more

We are new to the area. We had Best Exterminating spray the house we just moved into last week, that had been empty for nearly a year. (They no showed their first appt with me.) I paid for the initial start up which was $125 and he didn't do anything more than a normal spray which is an interior house baseboard and exterior spray using a handheld sprayer. No power sprayer was used for the exterior. We didn't see a decrease in bugs. So, I called them 6 days after he sprayed to let them know and see if they'd come back out. I spoke with the lady on Monday and she was giving me a hard time saying I waited to long to call and let them know I was having problems with bugs but said she'd call me back. It's Friday, 4 days after I called, and I still haven't heard from her. Horrible customer service! We used the same pest control service every month for the last 10 years on our house before we moved to this area and never had a problem with them or with bugs. I am very disappointed with Best Exterminating and will not recommend them to anyone! read more

There are many things I could say about this business but rudness it probably highest on the list. I hired BEST to help me rid the home my fiance inherited in April. When the service man came to the home for the 1st time I was told it would take four bi-weelky treatments to rid of the bugs. I had two treatments done. When the service ma)n came and did a walk threw he said we were good to move in. Well we kept seeing bugs. When I called to complain Harriott was so rude I truly didnt even know what to think. So then I was told the following week would be our 3rd treatment. I never got a phone call or anything to schedule the 3rd treatment and have yet to receive my 3rd treatment. I just wish this company would of done what the promised to do. There is no reason why I should have to fight and argue with the owner about what was promised to me. read more

This is the worse company I have ever had to deal with! Their customer service is horrible! I was dealing with a women named Harriet, and she not only yelled at me several times, but hung the phone up on me three times! We had a termite inspection done for the purchase of our house, and it took them over a week to get the report back...when we were told it would only take 1-2 days! My husband called several times through the week and left messages, and never received a call back....Then when I finally got Harriet on the phone 6 days after the inspection was done...She said she never got any messages from my husband! I asked to speak to the owner three different times, and was told they were not available. Please think twice before using this company....save yourself the stress and headache and go with another company!
