They were one of the first stores to carry Jellycats, along with so many other wonderful things. It's a wonderful place to visit around Christmas because they have so many unique decorations and home items, along with thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gifts for people. My daughter and I are frequent visitors, and it has become a beloved tradition that we always stop in whenever we're downtown. The ladies who work here are simply wonderful and incredibly helpful. I learned so much about swirls, different techniques, and methods for creating beautiful handcrafted soaps. What keeps bringing me back isn't just the wonderful atmosphere, but the staff as well. Everyone is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about teaching their craft. I especially appreciate that they teach you the right way--no shortcuts, with safety always coming first. They provide everything you need, guide you through the entire process, and by the end of class you walk away with your very own full loaf of handmade soap, ready to be cut into individual bars once it's cured. When I went to pay, they attempted to charge more than the displayed price. When I inquired, the initial employee was going to honor the price tag. A reasonable thing to do. After seeking the manager for approval, she declined to honor the tagged price. She said the other gloves were marked with the higher price, essentially acknowledging the error in their tagging of their merchandise. Considering I don't work there and didn't price tag their merchandise, it was really confusing why that was relevant. Also, this all begs the question of how many times they do this to their patrons? Is it company policy to price an item one thing and overcharge by 33% and hope no one notices? Just honor the price tag. Not difficult. You did it, not me. I'm a paying customer, who is in town regularly enough. I hope the $5 was worth it. You clearly needed it more than me. Bums.

But even that parking was insanely full on occasion.
