I can't say enough good things about this car wash. The prices are far below anything in the area, yet I'm still always impressed with the work they do. For reference, I have a large 4 door sedan and always choose the option to wipe down the inside as well (I think that makes it $35??). I have never been disappointed and always tip another $15-20. First off I'd like to say I've been a regular patron here for over 4 years! I have them wash every 2 weeks and hand wax each month! After the way I was treated on my last visit, they have officially lost my business!! I don't just trust my BMW's to anyone. The workers here put a 5" scratch into my brand new black BMW M4 trunk lid. The old Korean owner blamed the scratch on me. He did not offer even a refund for the cheap $17 wash even though I spend at least $67 here each month for the past 4 years! That's over $800 a year! The scratch was caused by the dirt/grit accumulated from reusing the same drying towels car after car. Even though they use a chamois they also use cheap microfiber towels on your paint. Not every car is washed clean and dirt/grit WILL accumulate in any cloth as cars are dried!! The scratch could have been removed with a little machine buffing by a professional, but owner failed to take responsibility for his employees. Instead he lectured me and literally stormed off without even listening to what I had to say. This owner takes his customers for granted. Do not let him take advantage of you! His son owns Prestige Hand Car Wash on Blalock/I-10. I used to frequent his establishment as well. However the father's poor business ethics and lack of integrity has ruined my trust in their entire family. I will never come back! read more

I'm not sure about this place yet. I got the basic wash so I'm not expecting miracles, but I do feel like my car could've been cleaner. They do a real hand wash which is better I think then a machine wash. The staff was friendly which is always a plus. I just noticed after the wash was done that not all the bugs came off and I did have to ask them to redo my interior. They didn't wipe down the dash, center console or door panels. It was late in the day and they did do it on request so I do think I will try them again, but for now 3 stars. read more

I spent a good 30 minutes perusing Yelp last Sunday morning searching for a top rated car detailing place to take my car to before my Monday morning appraisal at the dealership. My father is in the car detailing business so I'm quite discerning.. I also want top dollar for my trade in so I needed a place that would pay attention to the details in my car. Best hand car wash 2 indeed met my expectations. I came an hour before they closed on a Sunday. There were only a few cars ahead of me which I didn't mind since it was a sunny afternoon and I could sit outside on their picnic tables. When i pulled up I was greeted by an older Asian gentlemen to whom I explained exactly what areas of my car needed the most attention-- the cup holders, running boards and rim of the trunk. He said he would take care of it and told me my total was only $31! Granted I did not want a wax, just the Hand wash and extra interior detailing so I thought this was a steal! You actually pay at the little window right where you pull up. From start to finish I was there about 40 mins which I didn't mind because again that meant they were really doing a good job. At first they had 4 or 5 different guys all working on the car at once-- one was drying, one was detailing the wheels, another spraying all the windows, etc. one young man spent another 10 mins going back through with a rag to ensure those special areas I indicated were taken care of. A week later my tires are still shining and the interior is immaculate! I am so glad I read the yelp reviews and found this hidden gem( literally it is a bit hidden behind a Mexican restaurant) from the looks of all the luxury cars that were there, they seem to have a loyal customer base of folks who care about the details. It doesn't look like much on the outside but don't judge this place based on that..This is definitely my new go to place for car detailing! read more

HANDS DOWN THE BEST IN TOWN! If I could, I'd recommend the world to come here. 1. They are truly a HAND CAR WASH. There are no huge soap dispensers and air blowers that take the place of the human hand on your car. From beginning to end, the employees always have a hand in making sure your car is at its cleanest state. 2. The owners are very helpful and extremely kind. They always try their best to make sure I am welcome and happy with their services. 3. The prices are some of the best in town. For my 4-door sedan, they charge me $15 for the standard wash and vaccuum. The standard package also comes with complimentary tire shine. Since I like to keep the interior in tip top condition, I almost always add the "Extra Interior Clean" package which is an extra $10. I've been here about 10 times now and have been very pleased every time. 4. Location is wonderful. Being just a few miles west of the Galleria, getting a quality car wash is not too far away. I live in Katy but work inside the loop so it's not too bad for me. 5. This place can get packed! Saturdays at this car wash can be brutal. It can be about a 45 minute wait for them to finish your car on a nice Saturday afternoon. Weekdays are typically pretty smooth with a wait of about 10-20 minutes. This being said, I would like to warn those of you who are pressed on time to either go during the week or early as possible on the weekends. 6. Secure your valuables! I read in a previous review that someone may have had their ipod stolen at this car wash. Every car wash says they are not responsible for lost or stolen goods from the cars which makes plenty of sense to me knowing that some people now-a-days like to fabricate stories. I strongly believe that if you have something of value, take it out of the car with you so that you know nothing will happen to it. Give this place a try. I've been taking my car to this car wash for the past 6 months after having read the reviews on yelp. I must admit that I love this car wash. First of all, there is no car washing machine at all. Your car will be washed, dried, waxed, and cleaned inside all by hand (thus "hand car wash"). The staff is quick yet careful about washing your car. They will not add anymore scratches to your car than you already have. As far as quickness goes, if you arrive when you they first open, your car will be done in 15 to 30 minutes. If you arrive at their peak times (noon to four on the weekends) expect an hour long wait. I recommend that you go to this car wash first thing in the morning. The cleaner that they use for car washes has not damaged the paint or finish on my car. The wax that they use is Brazilian Carnauba wax (which I have been using for years when I would wax my car myself). The wax leaves on nice, slick coat on the clear coat of my car which I love. If it rains heavily, My car will appear clean when I come back for the next wash. Prices at the car wash are great. For a basic wash and dry, it's $15.00. It's only $5.00 more expensive than a typical automatic car wash at a gas station and also includes a live black shine on your tires. A wash and wax is $49.00. You can also add a extra cleaning inside your car for $10.00 and they will vacuum, dust, and wipe armor all on your dash and protectant on your leather if you have leather seats. They will also provide a full detailing of the inside of your car for $99.00 where they will shampoo the inside and clean every panel. If you come here, just keep a couple of things on mind. The lobby has no wi-fi so you will need your phone if you want to do anything on the internet. If the wait is looking a bit long, you can always walk to the Starbucks which is a quarter of a mile away on the corner of Voss and Westheimer. I dropped off my vehicle for a complete interior cleaning, I was greeted by the owner at the gate and proceeded to discuss what I needed to get done. He promised me the car in a couple hours, to which he kept his promise. I went back to get the car and I have to say that they exceeded my expectations. Probably been here 30-40 times, friendly owners, yes they remember my name, and that my car has a very low bumper and to please not bang it into anything. Wax should only be done by reservation, going early or late is best and forget a Saturday after a rain. Easy to get in and out of, restaurants and shopping within walking distance so boost the local economy preferably by supporting made in the USA. Easy to kill time time reading or eating or doing both, take a chill pill, you will be here a minimum of 20 minutes, do some yoga stretching, bring your sunscreen. For the last year the same employee has been kind enough to wait for me to take the top down and dry behind the lid so it does not splash water on my mirrors. You bet I tip well. read more

I'm so bummed that my experience paled in comparison to other Yelpers here. I paid for a standard wash ($15) and an extra $10 for the deep interior cleaning. It was busy but the workers were very efficient and were hustling to push the cars through in a timely manner. I was really impressed by them. Indeed, the exterior of my car looked really terrific after the wash. The interior of my car was not all that dirty before I arrived. But the worker who cleaned the interior of my car didn't even bother to wipe off my front cupholders or wipe down all the interior glass. In fact, there was a huge, obvious streak down my front passenger's glass. Their product also left a slight haze on my windshield. Another small gripe is that no one made sure to dry the exterior mirrors completely so I got water spots down my door panels while driving away. This is my first time coming to BHCW 2 but I'm not convinced it was a good value for the level of service I received. If I go back, I will be sure to scrutinize their work carefully before putting any tips in the tip jar. read more

Got the most fined packages (inside and outside with shampoo, wax, etc.) and it took 3 hours. I left and they called me when it's ready, just as they promised. A Korean male (the owner??) explained me in details about their services after I asked questions based on the rate chart. They made my car very clean. I appreciated they wrapped my coins with my paper rolls, so it didn't roll over the place. It's good to know that they can keep my car there if I plan to come tomorrow to pick it up. They moved all my personal things to the trunk included the floor mats. They didn't mention that tome, so I was confused at the beginning and it took me a few minutes to figure it out :(.
