I'll start by saying Best Marine is truly the BEST marine shop I've ever come across (and I've owned multiple marine toys over the years). Hands down the BEST. Not only is their actual marine services top notch, but their customer service is unmatched. I've had a couple of great experiences that support this 5-star review, but here is the most recent that really encouraged me to post a review: Dropped my boat off for de-winterizing service a week ago and while Best Marine was providing their multi-point inspection on my boat (which is included at no additional cost during de-win service), they found a few issues, one of which that would have left me as a sitting duck on the lake if it wasn't caught before dropping in the lake (shifter was unresponsive). The other issues they found were minor but needed to be fixed to remain legal (nav light toggle switch was broken, light wiring was jacked up causing tail lights to fail, etc). I had been planning to take the boat out for the first time of the season just three days after the de-win was scheduled but these issues had to be fixed (clearly). In the midst of Best Marine's peak season, the GM (Layne) made sure my boat was fixed as a top priority so I could be on the water when I had planned to. I was blown away with how much they cared that I was on the water when I planned to be. And, when I say "cared", I mean Layne and Shaun stayed at the shop AFTER they closed on a Friday night to ensure my boat was fixed and ready to go the following morning. These guys truly put their customers first - and in my case, they put their own personal schedules aside to ensure they went into the weekend with a pleased customer. They also gave me some great tips for better operating and maintaining my boat to ensure longevity. HUGE shoutout to Layne and Shaun for going above and beyond for me and my boat. We took a running boat in for service and to be winterized October 2021. Got the boat back in May 2022 after paying $3100.00 to Best Marine. Finally got it on the water June 5th and the boat does not run. Has a heavy vibration coming from the engine and will not accelerate when opening it up the throttle. Took it back to P.O.S Best Marine on Tuesday June 7th and asked that they look at. As of today June 10th they never did look it give the excuse that they are too busy!!! ,but not to busy to take peoples money. And the best kicker was the owner says to my husband "weird we have had 3 other boats with this same problem so when you figure it let me know" F--K U dude. BEWARE of this place. Unacceptable. Took my boat in to get serviced. General stuff, change the motor and gear oil, make sure it's ready for the season. Was told a weeks and a half to two weeks to get the work done. After three I called them and they said it would be done in a day or two. Got the same story at 5 weeks. They kept my boat for 2 months and never touched it. I ended up just going to pick up my boat without getting the work done. I understand being short staffed if that's what's happening, but 2 months and nothing?! Not even a courtesy call. Unless you don't mind waiting months for them to get around to it, take your boat elsewhere. read more

I got my first boat and needed it gone through to be sure it would be ready for summer. I stopped in to set up service and they told me to drop of off in six weeks. I dropped it off and within a couple weeks they did the inspection, serviced the engines, replaced my troll master and re-packed the bearings on my trailer. I got my boat and ran it to Lake Granby. It ran flawlessly and they did the work at a fair price. read more

Best Marine? Hardly. After contacting them and making an "appointment", then waited 3 weeks for my "appointment date" - which is understandable. What I don't understand is why it took them over 1 month after my appointment date to actually work on my boat! Apparently, they don't understand the concept of having an "appointment". When I dropped off the boat early in the workweek, Matt said they would be working on it later that week or the next - which was acceptable. Had to make numerous calls after 2 weeks and was told by Matt "you're next in line", and a week later "just started working on it", and a week later "it will be done tomorrow", and a few days later "should be done today". In my opinion, the "best" service that they provide is lip service! To top it off, when I finally was able to pick up the boat 2 days later, then had left the ignition key ON and the battery was totally dead! Wouldn't hold a charge anymore, so I had to replace that also! I'm also suspicious that they didn't actually do everything that they charged me for (like the final operational check). And these were not major repairs (or parts shortages) they were making that should have taken extended time. Hopefully, my experience is just a "one off", and they don't treat all of their customers like this. But I can say that I won't be returning there in the future! read more

I've had my boat for over 2 years I've took it to him 5 t**'s 5 times that cost me $4000 my boat is not running again whatever you guys get from these people I don't know what they're doing but it's a terrible terrible job I would not recommend them to anybody they are the worst I've ever dealt with they keep charging you every single time for the same thing over and over over and over in my boat read more

The guys at Best Marine/Outdoor Frenzy are exceptional! We needed to get our boat winterized before some body work was done on the hull. Randy squeezed us in to the schedule, and included a motor tuneup so that we will be ready to go next spring. He even arranged to have our boat brought over and returned to the hull repair facility so that every thing was done in order. The price for the work was really reasonable! I am not mechanical. Why do I own Scooters, RV,& a Boat?? I wonder sometimes, but havving a place like Best Marine that is friendly, helpful and has honest pricing is great. Have been here twice, last summer and again this summer. Best Marine is definitely tops. read more

Best Marine was the third boat shop I tried and the 6th trip to a boat mechanic. All others would not give me the time or take the time to fix my motor but charge me $$ anyway. I had purchased a 1992 boat that the seller said everything was working. NOT! Pat and crew at Best Marine put allot of time and effort into fixing multiple problems with my 1992 EFI outboard and charged me fairly. Just got my boat repaired at best marine and they did a fantastic job.randys premier in Greeley told me I needed a new engine and it would be close to $4000 for a new engine .all I needed was a head gasket repair and it was $1,800.i took it out on the lake today and it ran like new!!!very happy.thank you best marine.you have a customer for life.the 100 mile trip was worth the quality repair.i did my homework and these guys have the best reviews and service.highly recommend A+++++ read more
