My wife purchased a group on for Best Ohahu tours. I have to tell you it was such a great day that my whole family enjoyed. We got to visit just about every major tourist attraction there is. Kaanoi (please excuse the spelling) is an absolute Rock Star as she is super friendly and so knowledgeable about the Island. If you have the opportunity to purchase the tour, go for it. Approx 14 of us were seated in a air conditioned tour van. Snacks and beverages were provided. Snorkels, masks and boogie boards were provided for use while snorkeling with the turtles...yes you read that right! A few things worth mentioning, if there is one disappointment it is with the shrimp trucks, we did not stop at the most popular shrimp trucks as I imagine for the sake of efficiency they hook up with a local truck....problem is that the food was not good. List of things we saw: Diamond head, blow hole, north shore, coffee farm, dole plantation, swimming with the turtles ( prepare to walk to the cove) macadamia nut farm. BEWARE of this tour company! I purchased a Groupon for their Turtle Canyon Snorkel Trip and I attempted to redeem it during my first stay in Hawaii. They were closed the entire time that I was visiting Hawaii. The second trip to Hawaii, I attempted to redeem my Groupon again, and they NEVER answered their telephone! However, they did respond via text, asking me for my groupon screenshot and date of tour I wanted. I RESPONDED with my groupon screenshot and date of tour. They never replied back to me or answered their telephone, and I left Hawaii AGAIN without getting the tour that I paid them for! Groupon refused to refund the money! read more

Cuz Maia and our driver Keoni were great! Super entertaining and funny throughout our whole tour. Even having come to the island quite often growing up Cousin Maia had many great facts about Hawaii that I didn't know myself which was really cool to see. This tour was worth every penny and more. I found this tour on Groupon and I am so thankful that I did. We were driven all across Honolulu and given incredible insight on the island. Johnny, our tour guide, was INCREDIBLE. He was INCREDIBLE-INCREDIBLE-INCREDIBLE. Please look past the obnoxious capitalization and repetition but he really was the best tour guide that anyone could have asked for. He was knowledgeable. He drove the bus for the entire trip and never stopped spitting out trivia the entire time that he did. He was hilarious. There were times when I wasn't sure if I was on a tour guide or at a stand up comedy routine. And he was just really the best. He made every single passenger on the bus feel like they were family and that really means something. If you are looking for a tour I highly--HIGHLY recommend this one and if you do make sure to ask for Johnny! read more

Pros: everything, especially Mario our tour guide that was by far the best you will find on the island. He was very considerate with chips and water (even had cash to provide with vemo transfers) for food truck. kept us entertained, very knowledgeable and respectful. Cons: a little too rushed for those places we did stop off at (15-30) with the exception of 60min at the dole plantation and swimming with the turtles. But I do understand why as it would be a very long day if it was longer stops. read more

I live on the island,but decided to play tourist for a day. My date was a no-show, so it could have been miserable going solo, but the tour guides, Milo and Kawala (probably spelling that wrong) made it fantastic! Milo was sooo personable and interesting and funny and charming. Love his attitude and personality. Kawala was chill and joyful and fun! Great combo. I learned a ton of stuff that I didn't already know. I really enjoyed all of the movie references when we stopped at scenic locations and I truly appreciate the tips on shopping. If I was visiting, this should be my first stop to get the "lay of the land". Incredible Aloha spirit inspired by these two. All of the guests became instant buddies and had a wonderful day together. Good thing is we purchased tour through Groupon so we didn't have to pay full price. The main issue was the fact that we could not hear our guide due to the loud A/C unit running (we had to sit right below it). I had asked the guide if he could turn is volume up and unfortunately he was not able to. He did for the next ten minutes run the air conditioner at a lower setting so we had a chance to hear him for a short while. However, I am not sure if he just forgot or what but after that we no longer could hear what he was saying about the different places nor could we hear how much time we had at the different stops. Also, it seems like all of the different tours go the same route for the tour around the island so when we got to our lunch spot at Fumi's (which was really good) it seemed like every tour was there at the same time, so it was a very long wait and when you have limited time at each location that is not good. read more
