Placed an order on-line and ran into some difficulty with their web site and when I was finally able to speak with someone they wouldn't even let me explain the problem, instead were extremely rude as others have said and hung up on me. They then called me back to continue to be rude and finally just cancelled my order which I only discovered by looking at the USPS tracking number and my Amazon Pay account and saw the had reversed the charge. STAY AWAY. I should have read these review before using them Let me begin by saying that I did buy an item from them last week and it arrived ok. However that was the good, here is todays recap.....THE BAD.... I went online and tried to order some valve parts from them, since this ship to address is different from my bill to address, their system would not allow it. They used the excuse of credit card fraud, but they have a workaround that they offer... its supposed to link your Amazon Pay...and ship to one of your Amazon locations. I attempted to use that option. It did not work. I tried 3 times with no success. It would not ( could not? ) confirm the payment. I tried calling the store but the man that I spoke with was extremely rude and said that " they only do walk in business at this location. he then hung up. I called the internet side but they don't take phone calls. If you need anything it is by text only. I tried texting them to help solve it and they immediately became Hostile and began accusing me of trying to commit some sort of fraud. They said" its working for everyone else, just not you". They proceeded to escalate the situation and turn extremely hostile, and state that I am trying to have them commit some sort of FRAUD. They now have said that they are going to somehow leave negative comments on 3 sites for me. They have banned me as a customer (Haha). This is a clear example of why you need a dedicated sales team of Customer service people. I have not seen this level of unprofessional business behavior in decades. I am curious to see if they leave a response to this review... will it be apologetic? or hostile? one thing for SURE... STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! The only issue was it took fifteen days to get it in the Mail, I would suggest they use u.p.s Instead of the mail system. The price was very reasonathe best I saw online. Also I did contact the company about taking so long to get and they were very Quick with their response. And they did keep on top of it. If I could give them zero stars it would be too much. Ordered a Pentair part because they were the most cost effective but later realized they add a ton of extra costs to the shipping. Also their online portal said FedEx so I thought that's why it was so expensive. Nope they sent me a label for USPS and when I questioned them instead of just explaining they were rude and unprofessional but not shocking considering 8 negative reviews in the last year from BBB. Then they cancelled the label, charged my card and never sent the goods. Complete crooks!!! Stay very far away from this company's cheap price online bait and switch. I ordered a Pentair Rebel V2 vacuum head on 1/24/24, received it (the product appeared to be used), installed it, and discovered it was intermittent in its operation and often just stopped. I conferred with Best Pool Shop and they said I didn't have enough vacuum. My pool service had it set to maximum but said they thought it was a defective head. I went back to Best Pool and they said that was impossible because they did not sell defective products. (Do they test each and every one before selling it? No!) I examined the head and discovered the drive gear would not stay engaged with the ring gear on the wheel. I told them I wanted to return it and get my money back. They said go to the manufacturer. I returned the product to them, got receipt, and again requested a refund. No replies back. Their web site appear to be "down for maintenance." They refuse to answer any email I send to them. If I call, they do not answer and put you into an endless phone answering loop. This company has the worst customer service I have ever seen. Beware of dealing with them. Other reviews say they are crooks. I would have to agree. I read a complaint against them from the Better Business Bureau where another person accused them of selling counterfeit/knock-off Pentair products that don't work. I now suspect that this is the case with me since it came in a generic no-label box and there were on printed instructions or manuals or guarantee included. The websites advertised 10 inch steel pool brushes at $18.99, in store for $ 16.99. So, I went to the store, it turned out to be unavailable, instead, selling only 18 inches for $39.99. I ended up paying it without realizing it's overpriced, meanwhile I bought a pool water conditioner as recommended by the clerk at $ 39.99 which is also overpriced. After I realized the fact, within 30 minutes I went back and tried to return it, the response was I can't return it according to their policy which is small fine prints on the receipt without me realizing which is probably my fault, on further discussion, I was not going anywhere, so, I ended up paying for the liquid and 20% deduction from the brush, again it's written on small scanner as well. My lesson is not to trust their online advertising and I will not go back to shop in the store anymore which is also advised by the personnel. I guess it's not a very great experience for me shopping there. But, I have to admit that store has majority of the pool supplies you need and staff are knowledgeable about the pool products. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. Their prices look ok online, but they absolutely try to avoid talking with customers or helping their online side. The shop won't help either. It takes a very long time to get to a human if you even can. If you want to discussed a product or part number, my wife and I found them to be very rude and they even hung up once. And if you mention a part number and not a part ID, you will get a rude response. I was kind back, but they act they are doing you a favor. Go somewhere else until they learn how to treat people. Best place is nothing but phony. They tell you parts are original equipment when they are in fact generic. I would be leery about buying old goods like pumps or filters from them. When you don't know the history behind it. is it used is it open damaged box. And some of the chemicals they have on their shelf have been sitting for years. So I would question the strength of them and also the legitimacy of them because some of the chemicals have been banned by the EPA and they say that's not true. read more

IT DID NOT, so the installer had to rebuild our system to make this one work and it cost us twice as much to install. Also I was told that they DO NOT accept returns.
