I'm not sure about all the bad juju in the Yelp reviews of this place. My wife and I visited a couple months ago to get a pool vacuum, a hot tub blower (IYKYK), and some water test strips. Vartan was cordial and helpful--didn't try to upsell anything, gave me straight an honest information, and even processed my online rebate for me to n the pool vacuum. When the vacuum wheels started doing some weird stuff a week after purchase, I took it back into the store and Vartan was very helpful-- kept the unit so I could go back to work, contacted the manufacturer, and made the repair. The vacuum is working great ever since. When I visit a place like this, I'm not looking for a new best buddy to hang out with and eat ice cream... but I am lookin go for no-nonsense answers to technical questions about a subject in which I'm not an expert, and need to rely on trust and integrity. If it weren't for the good ol' USPS routing my package from California to Florida, then Texas then back to Florida, I would have received my delivery normally as in previous orders. This place is a scam. Selling counterfeit parts as original. I will be reporting this place to all authorities. Charging a restocking fee for returning damaged products is very shady. Original parts I bought elsewhere come in a factory sealed bag that says "Baracuda Original Parts" and the tracks come in a sealed bag with no creases in the tracks with out any damage. read more

This place is horrible!! I ordered a digital pump controller. It was the wrong one, so it contacted them about returning it and they told me it would be a 50% restocking fee. When I sent an email clarifying the restocking fee I was told it was 20%. I returned the item and paid for postage and insurance on a brand new never installed item and was told they made an exception on my behalf and allowed the item to be returned. The kicker is that the favor cost me 50% of the purchase price (see below). If this is the way this family owned business makes money, I advise everyone to steer clear. This is just wrong!!!!! I ordered 24 tubes of pool grout, what was delivered was and empty torn open box. When I tried to call to speak to someone, I found out you can't actually speak to anyone by design and a message tells you to email them. I called direct to their store location where the package was shipped from, and the guy was extremely rude and starting mocking me. Usps did deliver a 20 lbs box that was empty without leaving a notification, and they forged my signature for delivery when I wasn't home (all caught on ring camera). The box was poorly taped from the shipper, and is partially at fault for the box breaking open during shipping. The company refuses to issue me a refund even know this is an issue between them and usps and not the customer who is now out $250. The company wont respond to my emails anymore when requestion an update. I'm sure the company will write up a response to my review saying that they are waiting on usps and not their fault. Its been a month, either usps refused to issue the insurance money on the items due to poor packaging, or the company did get the money and pocked it, which is theft. The company will probably write a response to my review from their "legal team" saying it's illegal to write a bad review. This is comical, they don't have a legal team, it's just some employee with maybe a high school education trying to prevent people from writing their honest review and expose the company. If you're going to claim you have a legal team, at least make it look real with actual attorney names listed and not from your generic company email. Take a look at best pool shop on the BBB website, they have an F rating, that should validate if you are questioning on if this is a legit company or not. If you're reading this review, then you can assume that the company still has not issue my refund. read more
