From the initial phone call to make a reservation to the drop off, everyone was friendly and helpful. The vehicle itself was quite nice by the usual truck rental standards, and included EZ Pass, which was very convenient for my brief trip to South Jersey. Tolls are billed to your credit card with an additional charge of $1.50 per instance; this is fine on the Turnpike, but might feel a little burdensome on a long Parkway trip. No hidden costs, no nonsense, and frankly quite inexpensive when compared to my expectations. There is no question whatsoever whom I will be contacting for this type of rental moving forward.

He dropped me right at Emerald Aisle. I was met by Marilyn. She asked me my car preference and then showed me the car with the lowest mileage, helped me with my bags to the car, got the keys for me and gave me some general info about checking out. She could not have been nicer and she did ask me to put in a good word for her at corporate, which I did. Not only was my car "low mileage" but it was brand new. It has 301 miles on it and part of the sticker was still stuck to the back window. Getting to the rental car lot. I arrived in Terminal B so I had to take the Intra Terminal Shuttle to Terminal A to get the shuttle to the National lot. For me, it would have been more convenient to take an Uber there and I will do that next time. I had 2 pieces of luggage so walking there was not an option. It wasn't the worst thing to have to take 2 shuttles, but honestly not very practical. And it did set me back into the beginning of rush out to get out of the city to Suffolk County.

And it says that nowhere in the contract. I always have to get our travel expense manager involved to educate the staff at the location. Secondly, George Maldonado, the manager is careless in his emails and sends emails with incorrect instructions. If you want to have a seamless trip, go to another national car location. Once I got to the hotel, I realized that having a car was not going to be a good idea. It is tough to park everywhere and the downtown was very walkable.... so I returned to the airport and returned the car. The Budget attendant in the garage, told me I didn't have to go inside, and to just drop the car off and I would be credited. WELL... I was not credited ANYTHING! Their fine print says if you prepay and drop the car off early, there is no credit. I didn't even have the car a few hours! THIS IS THEFT!!! I called customer service and also emailed, and they would not credit me anthing. NEVER USE THEM!!!
