Red Curry Fried Rice
Narayan R.

This place is a solid place I've been too many times mainly for their portion sizes and nice staff. I got the red curry fried rice and spring rolls. The spring rolls were my favorite thing as the sauce served alongside as well as the cook and portion sizes is really good. Next the red curry fried rice which was also really good. The vegetables like tofu, green beans, snap peas, and carrots were really good despite my sheer hatred of vegetables. The rice was also really flavorful and the only criticism was not enough spice. Overall was really good and will come again!

This place is one of the most underrated Thai restaurants in Frisco. The make some of the best Pad Thai. I generally order takeout and it's always pretty quick. The wait is usually 10 to 15 minutes long. I recommend calling ahead for your order. The fresh spring rolls are also tasty.

Pad See-Ew

I went for some late lunch in between a ceremony and the reception so was on a time crunch. I was the only client there and there was one male host. I was greeted and sat. I attempted to ask between their preference of rad na or something else on the menu that sounded like drunken noodles. He then suggested a different item which was the chicken pad see ew level three, which is what I ordered. The food came out in about 8 minutes where I saw the food was extremely greasy and the protein was pork. It took me about 5 minutes to finally see the waiter and inform him that the food was prepared incorrectly. He then took the plate and wanted to remake. I agreed at first then immediately declined as I needed to leave soon and was staying in a hotel nearby so didn't want to take it to go. He became irritable and said it was already done (even though he just told the kitchen the order was wrong). Someone else came from the kitchen and asked what the issue said. I told her I couldn't wait for the order to be prepared correctly and she kept pressing me to stay where I kept stating I didn't have time. She then became upset and told me to leave, which I did. The service wasn't great and just wish they were more understanding that they made an error rather than being upset with me that I couldn't stay. I would have requested for them to remake it sooner but the host and the waiter were listening to music on their phones making it hard for them to hear me as I called for them.

The food was very flavorful and the mango sticky rice is a must try. We got the Tom kha noodle soup and the yellow curry with egg noodles & crispy noodles on top. The yellow curry was a little salty but overall would recommend.

Pad see ew, with tofu, extra veggies and no egg

Just when I thought I couldn't love Best Thai anymore than I already, I tried out this location on Preston and daaaaaaang I'm in love all over again. Their pad see ew was so good! I ordered it with tofu, extea veggies and no egg. They hooked it up! While I love the area off Coleman and that Best Thai has more charm, this location makes up for it in their exceptional service and now this will be my go-to spot for getting amazing thai! Also, they have an app for online ordering that is super easy to use! I ordered that way this last time and took my order home to devour.

This place is good if you want a crap ton of food for your buck. The food is good but nothing outstanding. I'll come back here again when I'm super hungry and have no money.

I came in on a Thursday during the lunch hour. About half the tables were occupied. They quickly sat me. Ordering and food delivery were very fast. Food was good, but not great. This was only my first time, so I would come back.

Yellow Curry with chicken and spring 4 Piece Best Thai Egg Roll

Ordered take out a couple of times and this place doesn't disappoint. Ordered the yellow curry with chicken and the chicken pad woonsen. The other day, I also ordered the chicken Tom yum soup, crab Rangoon, steamed chicken dumplings. Everything was yummy. Definitely made it my go to take out Thai spot! I have to say, the dipping sauce for the dumplings was a bit too sweet for me but it was still good. I just dip it lightly but flavor is still really good. Also, in my opinion, I might've probably would've enjoyed the shrimp tom yum soup. I'll have to order the shrimp next time. If you like Thai food and want to have a go at take out, give this place a try. Till then, let's eat!!!

They gave me extra cilantro and ginger. Piping hot delivery. Love the food and feel healthy after eating here!

The food here is the best and they deliver hot and fresh to you. I love that they fill up the soup to the very top and its so flavorful. The container of nutritious fresh food is worth it. The only place I order from now! Keep up the great work!! Yum yum YUM!!

The staff here are very sweet and helpful with questions about the menu and were not afraid to point out popular choices. For instance, I asked which of the dishes were best with roasted duck as the chosen protein. Our server indicated that the Basil Duck and the Duck Curry were the best and that the Duck Curry was more popular. So I chose that and my husband ordered the Thai Lo Mein with Beef and we split the Fresh Salad Rolls with added shrimp with peanut sauce. All of the items were amazing. The curry was unique and included added sweetness from pineapple and lychee. It was soooooooo good. The salad rolls were great with fresh peanut sauce. So nice with the added shrimp. My husband enjoyed the Thai Lo Mein. The decorations are tasteful and depict the Oceanic theme throughout. The restrooms and the restaurant were clean. We were very impressed and would definitely return!

The Shrimp Bang Bang had a perfect contrast of crispy exterior and tender interior, beautifully seasoned and complemented nicely by the dipping sauce. The Green Papaya Salad struck a nice balance of spice and tang--at level 4 it wasn't too hot, but still very enjoyable. My favorite was the Tom Kha, with its rich coconut flavor and pleasant sourness. For my main dish, I chose the Khao Soi, which was absolutely delicious. Unlike many Thai dishes I've tried elsewhere, this restaurant's offerings--especially the variety of seafood and meat options--have a more refined and subtle flavor. Rather than hitting you with intense heat or sourness, the dishes deliver a gentle, well-crafted taste profile. Their staff is consistently attentive and delivered our food promptly.

I particularly loved my pad Thai with chicken and tofu, it had a really great flavor! I asked for medium spice but I didn't find it spicy. Massaman curry was also really good and chock full of veggies! They also had many appetizers and drinks on Happy Hour which I believe went until 7 pm. Appetizers seemed to be $2 off, I didn't look closely at the drinks but it was basic cocktails. They did have an extensive cocktail list that looked very good! I will happily return here!

The meat-to-noodle ratio was solid, the veggies were plentiful, and the flavor was balanced and satisfying. The dining area felt clean and welcoming, and the server was attentive without hovering. Food came out quickly, which I appreciated. The crab rangoons were another highlight -- thick, flavorful, and genuinely delicious. The Pad Thai stood out, too. So many places drown it in that ketchup-y sweetness, but here the flavor was subtle, clean, and layered. Simple but still complex in a really good way.

I ordered the basil fried rice (spice level 2) and the pork fried crispy rolls. The spice level 2 gave the rice a subtle kick - noticeable but not overwhelming - which is just the way I like it. The basil fried rice was packed with egg, bamboo shoots, baby corn, mushrooms, bell peppers, white onions, fresh basil, and garlic. The flavors were balanced, and the portion size was VERY generous - this was way more than single meal for me. The crispy pork rolls were also very good. They were filled with pork, green onions, glass noodles, carrots, white onions, and cabbage, and served with a thin sweet & sour sauce that complemented them nicely without being too heavy. Even though I ordered them as an appetizer, they arrived midway through my meal, so not the best timing. The fountain machine wasn't working, so drinks were $2.50 for a can of soda with no refills. That felt a bit steep for a canned drink. I count that as a downside of the visit. Overall, the food was flavorful and generously portioned. With small improvements on the drink situation and meal timing, it could easily be a 5-star experience.

I ordered the chicken pad thai (spicy) and the Zaap combo set opting for the Zaap crispy wings with sticky rice. Located off the toll , Zaap is small inside so when it gets busy seems to be a more grab and go spot. I ordered online which was seamless and upon my arrival my food was ready and I was on my way. Everything looked good and was well packaged when I got home, I was genuinely excited to try. I made the perfect plate of pad thai, a couple wings, rice and papaya salad. The wing combo meal was my favorite. The wings were fresh, seasoned so well and I loved the garlic pieces/flakes on the wings, wished they added more honestly. The only critique is I wished the wings were actually crispy, they were kinda soft but I'd still get them again. Misses for me unfortunately was the chicken pad thai and papaya salad. I've never had pad thai before so I didn't really know what to expect but I didn't care for it overall. My biggest issue was the texture of the noodles and it was somewhat bland, the chili oil I got did help some but between the noodle texture, sparse chicken and it being lightly sauced, I wasn't a fan. Papaya salad again is new for me and just wasn't my thing, it was spiced to my specification but nothing about the flavor appealed to me sadly and I really wanted to enjoy it. I will say, portion sizes of everything was great, all my food was piping hot and customer service was good so I would come back for the wings and just try something else out.
