I have not had terrible thai food till I visited this place. Felt that they just poured some sauce out on some veggies for my Sweet and Sour. The food was so bland. Did not have any character. The price was high for the quality and quantity of food. Not worth it. The service was equally bad. The waitress never asked us our spice levels. She seemed so not interested at all being there. One star for the decor. Really neat and ethnic . But I will never visit this place again nor recommend it to others. read more

Highly disappointing place. I got a to go order and Found a big piece of thick plastic paper in my food. Highlight is manager didn't even care to apologize. He asked me what do you want now in a bad tone. I told him I need a refund. He asked me again whether I need a refund or another order of the same food. I asked him why would I order the same food from the same restaurant again in which I had plastic. He got angry and asked me to get the hell out of his shop. He just threw some cash on the table. Is this the level of manners I could expect from a person who runs a restaurant. I am not sure what happened to humanity and a courtesy of apology. Food is a great thing that helps we human beings grow and survive humanity. I always respect it. Forget people eating, even managers like him who own/run a restaurant don't value food. It is really good food but the worst customer service you can imagine. After having waited 10 min to be seated, the waitress never brought me water. She had an attitude, brought my son the wrong dish & brought back the same dish but overcooked, she forgot to bring him thai tea and brought me the bill after I asked for it 3 times. When leaving, the thai waitress gal yelled outloud "hey, you are not leaving me a tip" shocking, but I turned around & said to her 'thats is right, I am NOT because of this,this & this" and she still talked back at me...Go to the best Thai rest in frisco square. it is same delicious meal and the manager is there to ensure you get a good service. We usually eat Thai once or twice per month, and have been coming to this restaurant for the last 3 months. We have enjoyed the food here so much that this past Sunday we celebrated my wife's birthday here with a party of 17 people. Chris the owner did everything possible to make that night exceptional. I can tell you that it's difficult to satisfy the expectations of 17 people (all at once) for a birthday meal, but I'm happy to tell you Best Thai did just that! From the atmosphere and the 17 appetizers to the meals and great service! Everyone called us the next day to say how much the enjoyed a perfect evening and complemented on choosing such a great place (it makes you feel good that when you throw a party and and everyone has a good time). This isn't one of my favorite Thai spots, but it'll do if you want to get your Thai fix. We went on a Thursday night around 7pm, and we were the only ones in the place throughout the entire time we were there. Service wasn't bad but the food was just okay. I ordered the Thai iced tea, and when I asked for another...(the place I usually go gives one free refill) He told me there are no free refills. At nearly $4 for the small glass..I opted for water instead. So we finished our meal, paid and were on our way out, he brought me a to-go cup of Thai iced tea. Very sweet of him. BUH-LECH. Best? I mean it when I say "Worst". First of all, the woman who takes the take out orders has a borderline personality disorder. She has no clue what's on the menu or what ingredients are in the dishes. We ordered the Pad See Ew and the Tom Ka soup and they were both terrible. Not even edible. The soup was like spicy water with old chicken and no flavor whatsoever. I have no clue how to even describe the Pad See Ew. And to top it all off? She overcharged us: noodle soups are priced on the menu and she had the nerve to charge us an additional $2 for orders of noodles that we didn't order. We will never ever ever be back. read more

This just wasn't very good thai. I ordered Panang curry and my husband had pad see ew, both with spice level 4...neither was spicy AT ALL. I could forgive the spice level normally, but neither dish even had much flavor! I marked it up from 1 star because it was fast service (15 min for pick up) and they gave me a lot of shrimp in my curry (though tails were on which annoys me). But, I don't think I will go here again. IF, by chance, I HAD to eat there again, I would have to order thai hot in hopes it was remotely spicy. I don't really reco it. read more

The family and I wanted some good Thai food. What better place to try than "Best Thai"! We've been to several Thai restaurants and we all believe this is one of our favorites! I had the Pad Kee Mow Beef. My wife and the Spicy Basil Fried Rice with chicken, and my kids had the same. The service was quick and friendly. Was just in the area and felt like I wanted some Thai food, and so I ordered a Pad Thai shrimp & chicken to-go. Service was quick and easy, the lady who took my order was nice and friendly, just your average kind of customer service, nothing out of the ordinary. The food didn't take too long to make, which was good, came out in about fifteen minutes or so. Went home and opened up my order and my gosh! IT WAS HUGE! There's so much food in it! Definitely getting your moneys worth of how much you paid for. The taste of authentic the Thai flavoring that's usually in the Pad Thai wasn't really there, it was more of a sweet flavor, versus the traditional sweet and sour spice kind. Reminded me of Zennas, other than that it's an okay place. Not enough to satisfy my cravings for real Thai food, with that being said, probably won't come back. read more

Awesome curry! I highly recommend the panang curry. The place is typically slow, so not a whole lot of people here and it's pretty quiet, so a great atmosphere.
