I've been to Shabu Shabu before, but this was my first time at a combo hot pot with Korean bbq. Sooooo I have never eaten so many pot stickers in my life. The pork pot stickers on the conveyor belt were my favorite, with a tender noodle and soft flavorful pork. The teriyaki salmon came in second. We came for a birthday and were seated pretty quickly on a Friday night. First impressions: very cool, very loud, lively crowd and kinda messy sauce bar. The other stuff: the meat was ok. The miso broth was nice but a little bland. The conveyor belt was a fun novelty. Snatched up the shrimp, pot stickers and noodles for soup. Lots of greens and mushrooms and all that looked good. The lobster ball felt like a plastic little dense ball and we didn't like it. Did we leave full ? Yes Was it fun and an experience? Yes Was it hot and humid ? Yes. Just ask my hair. Service was ok. Had to ask a few times for some items. Be prepared to designate one person to cook and eat away!

This is my go to spot for affordable hotpot. Now it has gotten more affordable since they offer a lunch special for $15.99 from 2-3pm & dinner special $25.99 from 3-4:30pm. The thai pot soup base was good, but didn't taste much like tom yum & wasn't even spicy. After awhile it started to taste like tomato soup. The mushroom soup was good too; very earthy & umami. The meats are standard quality as well. The top 3 favorites were natural angus prime, beef toro, & beef brisket. There are variety of toppings on the conveyor belt, but sadly they don't have enoki mushrooms. There are plenty of different sauces at the sauce bar. The service was good. The server would check up on us occasionally to get our meat order & to refill our water. The place is very spacious with plenty of tables to accommodate different size parties.

I found it that dallas in general doesn't have too many good Shabu places . But this one stood due to its selection of sauces and apps . They have individual hot pots and a conveyor belt for selecting ingredients, as well as the attentive service and modern atmosphere. Good quality meats and nonstop fresh vegetables on the conveyor belts . Decent broth but could be more flavorful . Overall it's a good experience .

FOOD Pretty much AYCE hotpot with the option of also ordering for BBQ. Everything from beef, pork, and chicken to lamb. High quality cuts of meat, fresh vegetables, and so many options for sauce. They also have other fried foods that you can grab near the sauce bar! VIBES There is a revolving bar with different vegetables, noodles and other things that you can put inside your hot pot. The lighting is on the dimmer side, but there is plenty of seating especially for larger parties. I like how each person can get their own pot for hot pot. On a side note, the seats are deceivingly hard but there is booth seating! SERVICE Service is great! They were really quick to get all the meats out, and they even do some singing with LED signs for birthdays.

We arrived at Seapot for dinner on a busy Friday night. There's a huge big screen TV with the Mavs game on, and some really cool lighting on the counters that look like flames. We were seated in less than 5 minutes. The dipping sauce station is not arranged very well. They need to pull it away from the wall to allow access from both sides. The food was very good. For the hot pot, you get your choice of meats and the other hot pot items like vegetables, noodles, and seafood comes around on a conveyor belt. The sauce bar also has some items like snow crab legs, chicken wings, and potato salad. The cost on Friday dinner was $33 and we each had a cocktail for $13 each. With tax and tip we spent $115. It seemed expensive but prices have gone up everywhere. We enjoyed our meal.

This was my second visit to Seapot, and even on a Tuesday at 2 PM the place was packed. The food quality was solid, and the conveyor belt kept everything coming out fresh and continuously. They do limit meat orders to one dish per person per round, so a group of four can only select four meats at a time. Desserts are simple but decent -- a few precut cakes and two types of jelly. My only real complaint is the 90‑minute dining limit. I felt rushed, especially if you're choosing only hot pot or only BBQ. I definitely wouldn't attempt both with such a short time window. I prefer to enjoy my meal at a relaxed pace, and the time restriction made the experience feel a bit hurried.

The food wasn't that good. My daughter didn't not eat but 1 bite. She didn't like it at all but we was still charged. Mgmtbwouls not take it off nor give a discount. We will not be dining again

    Ask the Community - Seapot

Do they take cash to pay for the food? Or is it only card and Apple Pay?

    Yes restaurants take money.

Bigger guy here, any tables or just booths?

Only booths, but they are able to move around and if theres someone behind, you, you can always ask as a courtesy if it's ok if you move it a bit. I've done it before. But they are spacious, just sit on the edge so you can stretch your feet a bit.

So for the AYCE, you get to pick how many of the #1-7 meats for lunch and #1-8 for dinner?

I know for lunch you can pick 2 meats. I don't know about dinner.

Dinner price for both Korean bbq and hot pot for one person?

35 for both and 30 if u just do the hot pot

Can you have hotpot and Korean bbq at the same time? Or does it have to be one and then the other?

Yes! You can have both! If you're a person that doesn't eat a lot. I would recommend getting one hotpot to share with someone and then two choices of meat.

Is the new zealand lamb Halal?

We can't be certain of that, and the store does not mention that their serve Halal meat

Are there vegan options? If so, what?

Yes for the hot pot. Lots of veggies, noodles and tofu come around on the conveyor belt. No for the BBQ

    Are there vegetarian options?

Yes there are. Plenty of veggie options

How much for lunch and dinner?

Comes to about $60 after taxes and tip.

Hi, May I know the Lunch time?

    Anytime before 3:00pm

Are there more vegetarian options other than the one soup base option? - Also I noticed that the main protein list does not offer a vegetarian option- is there one?

Not at all. Let me know if this helps.

What is the most popular broth?

    Chinese spicy

    Do they take reservations?

Yes,for larger parties. Otherwise on their Yelp page you can get on the waitlist for smaller parties.

Lunch prices for Saturday and Sunday also? 19.99

    Yes.

    Is Korean bbq open now?

Just went there tonight, still hotspot only.

Are the hot pots individual or one large pot shared?

We shared last time we went.

The bar is lit in a way that makes you want to stay and chat. There is a lot to the atmosphere here, both inside and outside, with the inside feeling like an intimate event, and the patio being a party starter. They often have live acoustic music outside, but it isn't brash or overwhelming. Usually one person and a guitar with a small amp. Nothing crazy. We had the deviled eggs and lump crab cakes to start, and both were SO good. Prices were great too. Our waitress, Staci (or Stacy), was AMAZING. Sweet, funny, great at banter, and incredibly attentive. Even when she was busy, she never made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. When she was at our table, we had her full attention, she checked on us the perfect amount, and we never had to ask for anything twice. She was on top of her game! My only complaint was a really awkward interaction at the end. I wanted to ask Staci two simple questions: whether they carried an olive gin I'd had in Europe (they didn't, but I haven't found it anywhere) and whether I could buy a roll of quarters because we were going to play pool. Somehow this turned into 5-6 staff members gathering around, plus this random blonde lady in a white T-shirt and jeans joining the conversation. Aside from Staci and the blonde lady, no one else even acknowledged me. They just stood there looking at me. It was weird. It felt like a lot of unnecessary attention over two simple questions and made me pretty uncomfortable. Having another customer involved was honestly the weirdest part. It was disappointing because we'd had such a great experience up until then. I went from thinking, "I need to bring my friends here!" to leaving feeling pretty unwelcome. Food: delicious. Atmosphere: beautiful. Prices: great. Staci: WONDERFUL. I just wish the interaction at the end had matched the rest of the experience. I changed my rating from two stars to four stars because I didn't feel like one bad interaction was worth two stars and I was a little flustered when I originally wrote my review.
