I had a slow leak in a tire. They were able to get me in right away. They repaired my tire quickly and it only cost $15. I would use them again if I needed to.

After calling around places in SF & the Peninsula, this tire shop was the only shop open Sunday who could do the job I needed. After putting after market tires & rims on my car I needed a shop that could insert spacers, while every other shop was either closed or couldn't do it for liability reasons, this place assured me & guaranteed my drive would be worth it......& it was! If you're looking for dirt cheap prices you should look for an old broken down shop that's probably not even on Yelp. This place is great & offers reasonable prices, in my opinion of course. They have a waiting area in their office with a tv, table, & chairs. Very convenient if you're hungry & bring in outside food. Pet friendly, I brought my pittie in with me :) Shakeel (not O'Neil) was extremely nice, welcoming, and helpful. Open 7 days a week, what more can you ask for?

Both Google and here on Yelp state the business closes at 6:30pm. I called to confirm the hours and that turned out not to be true.

I was honestly shocked when they only charged me $15 because they put so much time and effort into fixing it. I even tried to give them a tip because I really appreciated their work, but they kindly refused to take it. It's so refreshing to find a business that is honest, affordable, and genuinely cares about helping their customers instead of trying to sell you something you don't need. The staff were friendly and respectful, and I left feeling very grateful. I will definitely be coming back here for my future tire needs and highly recommend Richmond Tire to anyone looking for honest and reliable service!

I brought my car in after road debris caused a tire blowout and bent my rim. I needed the damaged tire replaced with a new one. During the tire replacement, my rim protector was damaged. I have photos documenting the damage. While the work was being done, I personally saw a young technician using what appeared to be a pry bar or similar metal tool around the tire/rim area. After the tire replacement, I noticed that my rim protector had been damaged. When I brought the damage to the attention of the manager/owner, he refused to take care of the problem and told me that I should have informed him beforehand that my wheel had a rim protector. I strongly disagree with that explanation. I brought my vehicle to a professional tire shop specifically because they are the professionals performing the tire removal and installation. I believe a reasonable part of professional tire service is inspecting the tire and wheel before beginning the work and identifying anything that may require additional care. The rim protector was already installed on the wheel when I brought the vehicle to them. Nobody asked me about it, nobody told me before starting the work that I needed to identify it for them, and nobody warned me that it could be damaged during the tire replacement. If the shop believed the rim protector required special handling or created a risk of damage, I believe that should have been identified and discussed with me BEFORE the work was performed--not after the damage occurred. I don't believe a customer should be expected to have the technical knowledge to point out every component or accessory on a wheel to a professional tire shop. If something on my vehicle could not be safely worked around, I would have expected the technician to stop and ask me before proceeding. What made the experience even worse was how the manager/owner communicated with me afterward. During our discussion, he became very aggressive in his manner and spoke to me in a loud voice. Rather than calmly discussing my concern and trying to reach a reasonable solution, I felt that my concern was simply being dismissed. I also personally heard him tell one of his workers that if they see me bringing my car in for service again, it is a "NO NO." I found that extremely unprofessional. I was not asking for special treatment--I was trying to address damage that I believe occurred while my vehicle was being serviced. Mistakes can happen at any business. What matters is how a business responds when a customer raises a concern. I would have appreciated a professional conversation, an explanation, and a reasonable effort to address the damage. Instead, I was met with an aggressive response, refusal to address the issue, and was effectively told that they did not want my future business. I have photos documenting the damage and am sharing my experience so other customers can make an informed decision before having their tires or wheels serviced here.

We switched to this Big O location after using another Big O for years, and the difference has been significant. They've built a relationship with us based on honesty, transparency, and genuine customer care rather than simply trying to sell services. Whenever we've needed assistance, they've been available, accommodating, and committed to getting our vehicles back on the road as quickly as possible. As a company that also provides service in a different industry, we understand how important it is to build long-term relationships through trust, strong ethics, and consistently delivering on your word. However, I noticed that as the gentleman in front of me pulled in, they decided to close up all of their base. That was interesting, considering the fact that they were going to be closed in 32 minutes. They say they close at 7:00 and at 6:28 they were closing up for the day. It wasn't like they were servicing so many people, they weren't gonna have time to get to us, there was no when they're getting serviced. The red headed manager was talking to the person in the car in front of me and took a long time talking to it. I eventually noticed that he was signaling for me to drive around to the other side of him and that's when I noticed that the man he was talking to was black, like me. This guy pulled off, after being told that they were closed and that they couldn't get any tire service. I explained my situation and told him that I just wanted to get air for my tire. I bought my tires at their sister station and I tried to put air into my tire and it wouldn't take. This guy said that he couldn't service me because they were emptying the air tanks and that it would talk 1/2 hour or so to turn it on again. Are you kidding me??? So I had to drive two blocks home on a tire that was flat to my rim. But, I was very lucky because he told me to go to two other tire shops in the area, something I would not have had to do if they would not have closed 32 minutes before they advertised. This reminds me of the southern stories I've heard of when Black people are driving through the south and wanted to find a hotel. They pulled into a hotel where it said no vacancy, and once the person operating hotel saw they were black the no vacancy sign would light up , I see their "no vacancy" sign or their "I don't wanna serve Black people sign" and it is time for them to close! I also want them to know that I sent my money elsewhere because I want to work with people are willing to give tires, the Black people and that should not be hard. This is my second interaction like this where I felt like I was turned away. I love the idea of having a tire shop down the street to get service, however, I hate the fact that I go in and I'm treated like a second class citizen. Maybe they do this because they are under new management. Maybe they don't like money from black peoples in their neighborhood. But the next day I drove almost one mile away and got proper service. They found the hole and offered a new or used tire, as they should. Because they actually want to service their customers.

I was not yelling, cursing, or being disrespectful. Instead of handling it professionally, you personally cursed me out, called me a liar, told me I was no longer welcome there, and laughed while saying that if my brakes had been installed wrong, "I'd be dead." That is not funny. It is not reassuring. It is completely unacceptable from any business owner, especially when someone is calling about a serious safety issue. I then went to another professional brake shop for a second opinion, and they confirmed that the left rear caliper was missing a bracket bolt, and the bottom bolt was hand-tight/loose, which was causing the banging/popping sound when braking. So yes, there was a real issue, and I was absolutely right to call. I had been coming to this shop for three years with no issues, spending my money here and trusting you with my vehicle. That is what makes this even worse. The moment your shop made a dangerous mistake, instead of taking accountability, you chose arrogance, hostility, and intimidation. Honestly, I should have taken legal action. When a customer calls to report a serious brake issue after your shop performed the work, the response should never be insults, laughter, and banning them from the business. I called because something was wrong, not because I wanted an argument. It may be cheap. It may be convenient. But if something goes wrong and you speak up, be prepared for the owner to protect his ego instead of protecting his customers. You do not ever have to worry about getting my money again. I will never return, and I strongly caution anyone against trusting this shop with brake work or anything safety-related.
