I cam here because it was really close to my house to check on my 2021 RAV4 as the AC didn't blow out cool air but the fan was still working. After left my car there, an hour later they called and said the freon air was low and needed a recharge. Fine, I let them recharge the air which costed about $200. They confirmed that it was all the issue of the car and NO AC hoses were broken or leakage, if there was leakage, they shouldn't be able to recharge the air. So I came back and pick up the car, I asked again about the AC issue and they confirmed the same thing that it just needed a recharge. I took the car home, it was okay on the way back until the next morning when I run the car, AC was blowing hot air again. This time I decided to take it to an independent mechanic shop, just by opening the hood and used the headlight to examine the AC hoses, they already pointed out the leakage.. What on earth the certified AC tech at Firestone did not see it when the other could just spot it with their bare eyes. Not to mention, the mechanic didn't even run any machine or test yet. At that point, I know I couldn't trust the team at this location even though they did mention the guarantee for 12k miles/12 months but they already lost my trust. If you come for a quick oil/filter change, they may do the work, but that's all you can expect. read more

Quality service is really poor, charging high labor cost with bad results. Took my car in for a power steering hose change ended up costing a power steering pump change and these problem still occurs. Found out they didn't do a power steering flush and add any fluid. The person who answered the phone did not clearly identify themself and put me on hold to check if the tires were received. I was non hold long to take a shower and call the store on a different number so they could hear that I was still on hold from the previous call. I had my car tire changed. Then the next day the tire pressure signal (on the side I had tire changed) was on red light even though it didn't happen before. They told me the sensor was broken and it costs another $180 to fix that. I told them it was not broken before I had tire changed. But they still cannot give me a reasonable explain. I had to have it fixed and waited for almost 2 hour even though they told me it just takes 20 mins at the beginning. read more

I have been a happy customer for over three years. Took my vehicle in this week for a tire rotation, and the techs noticed an issue with one of my belts during the courtesy inspection. They did not start working on my car until 430 and they did not finish until after 5. They did not give me an estimate of how long it would be. I booked an appointment for a tire repair. When I got there was met with quick and friendly service. My car was done within 45min a little long, but not too bad. I really appreciated how quick they were able to handle it for me, because at the time I did have other things to do and need my tire fixed. I can't remember who exactly I talked to but once I gave him the keys they start working on it right then and there. I needed new tires and since this place is close to home I decided to bring my car here. I looked up the tires selections they had available ahead of time to ensure that I knew what to expect before I took my car in. I made an appointment online for a Saturday morning 8am slot. Interestingly, their service workers don't start working until 9am I was told. So if you're planning g to do some work done on your car here on a Saturday morning keep thst in mind. The front desk personnel was very friendly, I told him that I had looked up the prices online and I asked for a price match since wheel works (same company) actually quoted me lower prices online. He helped me with the price match and sent me my way. Unfortunately, they don't have drop off services so you either have to wait there for your car or find your own way home and back to get your car. Around 11am I got a phone call letting me know that my car was ready. The whole process was simple and I appreciate the price match so that I didn't have to haggle my way around getting good deals on tires. read more

The cheap comes slow! Got my tire repaired here and while the cost was $35 and very inexpensive, it took the entire day for the repair. Even the guys at the front counter didn't exactly have a pep in their step. Best advice, call ahead or even schedule an appointment. If you live in the area and can walk home then, this place is perfect to wait for the repairs/new tires. If you don't live in the area, bring a good book, you can be there for a while. Firestone...the only business that survived! I only gone to this location once...when JC Pennys was open. I had my wheel align at this location and they were done with 30 minutes. That has the be the fastest service that they done. Perhaps business that day wasn't busy as they expected. I will say that Firestone manage to survive without JC Pennys being open and now Sears and Macys out of business I don't know how they are going to survive. I still go to this place bec. I have lifetime wheel alignment and free rotation. I had problem with my fuel gauge not going up. They diagnose it and gave me an estimate. It was $1900 lol. I google the parts and bought it from amazon for $50. Use youtube to see how they replace it and it was easy. And what do you know, it work. This location still didn't disappoint. Very consistent with their ratings. My advice is, use a coupon. Have them diagnosed your car if you can't troubleshoot it. You have to pay though. Then see if you can do it yourself. They used to have a good manager but left. Heard he got promoted. Just be careful and do your research before having your work on. If firestone manager wants to reach out be my guest. So far, I have had good experience with Firestone tires. Their tires are usually reasonably priced, tread has lasted as expected, and they perform well - traction, handling, mileage, low noise. Their website has an efficient system for buying tires online - with total out-the-door price, and making an appointment online. And I've had good experience with the Hilltop Firestone location. They did a good job with front end alignment, good=tires wore evenly for 65k miles. I have some experience and knowledge with auto repair and have never gotten a bs answer or upsell there. (BTW, I would recommend all car owners spend some time researching their auto repair issues online and do simple maintenance/repairs on their own. It pays for itself, and helps make evaluations/yelp reviews more accurate, objective and useful.) Most recent visit, a technician gave me extra (not required) help with a part. While waiting I listened to the front desk person give a careful and accurate explanation to a person who called for brake advice/work. From the managers on her words and I quote "I am working most of the time and that should tell you how busy we are" we've had our Audi with this place for over a year. oil change and routine maintenance ended with a broken water pump having to be replaced along with all these other belts that cost over $1000. We trusted them and for once I checked the oil and I found sutted black oil. One of the first things that came out of the managers mouth was well we can't be held responsible.. the maintenance of our car was in your hands and you're not responsible? We handed this place thousand of dollars to have to spend thousands more fixing what they didn't do to our car. After an over due car wash my wheels revealed damage on all 4 around the lug nuts and random areas. I thought I could rub it off but they're actually deeper scratches and chips all around. It looks like it was caused by a tool they used. When I bring my car in for service I expect to receive my car back in the same or even better condition than when I brought it in. Worst place to go get your car done!! I called on a Friday, asked when can I bring my car in to get new tires, he said Sunday @2 we can do it. Dropped off the car @2 on Sunday and he told me should be done by 5 because we close @5. I come in @5 my car didn't even move from the same spot!
