Then I had a flat the day before Easter, but my friend still had my jack. So, I held up my tire to oncoming traffic for a good Samaritan to pull over, and he did: A guy named "Clint," who is affiliated with Sullivan Tire. His family was with him, but he still stopped to help me out. When I went to Town Fair Tire to replace my blowout, they didn't even notice I had another tire that was completely bald. You'd think that'd be in their interest and the customers' to replace a dangerously worn tire. The pressure had gone down to 17, but they just filled it with air instead, masking the symptom rather than fixing its cause. These people just don't care, and their attitude shows it. So, for that second tire, I went to Sullivan in Bedford, and what a difference! Instead of Town Fair Tire's $185 price, Sullivan charged me only $110. And their waiting room is far better than Town Fair Tire's, playing "The Matrix" on TV, offering free Keurig coffees, free wi-fi, and multiple copies of the current newspaper. Meanwhile, Town Fair still uses COVID, from five years ago, as an excuse not to bring back the coffee. Instead of being problem solvers, Town Fair Tire "yeah-buts" have only excuses. Sullivan has results. I'm so happy with Sullivan Tire, so glad I'm able to speak with my money, and so very glad to spread the word here in this review. Life just got better!

There is absolutely no pressure to buy parts or services from them, based on what they report. From what I've seen and other people tell me, the Darlings try to keep repairs as reasonably affordable as they can. They are more than willing to prioritize what needs to be done, so it can be spread out. Their hourly labor rate is competitive with similar businesses, but since they are competent, it's kind of a bargain. The only drawback is that A LOT of people recommend Phil and Son's. That's bad because it means that there's a wait when I want to get MY car in. In spite of that, I've directed my best friends there because what nicer thing can you do for your friends than to find a very good and ethical mechanic?
