I mean, you get what you pay for; it's a three star hotel. I think it's safe to say you won't be impressed with the room nor will you be disgusted by it. There was a desk chair in the room that seemed like it's seen a couple decades of use. The sink did not easily turn off and water would continue to drip if you didn't position handle just right. Additionally, this was the first hotel I've ever stayed at where the room door doesn't automatically close behind you. It seems like it gets stuck on the carpet and you have to force it shut. Overall, it seemed clean and met my needs. The room had a tv, fridge, and microwave. It also included a complimentary breakfast; the menu currently rotates by day of the week. The day I went they had Sausages, Boiled Eggs, Potato Tots, and (Build Your Own) Waffles. For drinks, they had soft drinks, juice, milk, coffee and tea. You use the coffee dispenser for hot water; it's under "flavor shots". The had some Quaker's instant oatmeal pouches by the tea as well. For fresh fruit, they had apples and oranges the morning I was there. (See picture alongside this review for specific items on each day.) Throughout my stay, service was fine.

Check in was quick and easy and the front desk representative was nice. My issues were with the cleanliness of the room and the breakfast attendant. I've posted pictures of the hair in the shower and dirty lounge chair. I wouldn't have known about the old desk chair had it not been for the interaction with the breakfast attendant in the lounge. The attendant hovered around me and gave me EXTRA unwanted attention. Out of all of the guests in the area, I was the only person asked for my room number. From there, she hovered as I selected breakfast items. Since I felt uncomfortable, I decided to take the items back to my room. As I searched for silverware, the attendant arrived with a paper plate and fork advising that if I wanted to eat in my room I could use those. Wonder how she knew I wanted to leave. She then stared at me while I transferred my food. To the point that I moved away from her. This was the most awkward experience that I've ever had and makes me. Ever want to stay again. I only found the shredded desk chair due to needing to return to my room. Based on the price point with this service, I won't be returning.

I was pleasantly surprised to see how lovely this Best Western was. The lobby was clean and staff attentive. The room was clean and appeared well maintained. Our room was on the 2nd floor and had a balcony. It was a nice addition to a typical room. The public restroom was clean and spacious. The complimentary breakfast was tasty. Love me a waffle bar! The eggs, sausage, tater tots tartare as you expect. For us the clean room, clean and fresh appearance of the hotel and a pretty decent breakfast make you feel like your getting your money's worth. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Conveniently located off 880/237 - aside from the usual and customary smell of Milpitas, this hotel was on point. I had low expectations of this Best Western, and it definitely surprised me! The front desk was super friendly both at check-in and at check-out. The room we got was located on the 2nd level. Small, but clean! The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great. I usually like to bring my own pillow because I always find hotel pillows to be way too soft - but these were perfect. An extra pillow and blanket were found in the closet. Nice big flat screen TV. Microwave and fridge in the room. Lots of outlets to plug-in and charge all your devices. The bathroom was clean. Shower pressure was great - and good drainage. (Hate showers when you're standing in an inch or so of your bath water). And! Your stay comes with complimentary breakfast - which again, I had low expectations for. And again, I was left surprised. They had: scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, waffle maker, French toast, Canadian ham, breakfast sausage links, fruit, breakfast potatoes, hash browns, bagels, cereals, and oatmeal. A nice coffee machine where I was able to make a vanilla latte. Definitely will keep this place in mind if I need to spend the night again in Milpitas!!

Checkin experience was terrible. The guest services manager, Susan, was rude and refused to use our Best Western rewards points because it was booked by a third party. First impressions are everything. ... and our room smells like vomit. Then the management told me to move my vehicle because they're sold out and can't afford to lose any spaces... the manager was driving his $150,000 Tesla.

This is one of my personal top 3 Best Western locations I have stayed at. Lots of work trucks when I arrived late in the evening, which gave me the impression that this location is safe and not a party zone (quiet). The staff were all very friendly. Room was a bit dated but clean. It's rare that a hotel room is cleaned to my standards but this location was amazing. The reason I booked this location was to use the sauna and steam rooms. The steam room never got steamy. I didn't have much time, I only warmed it up for about 15 minutes. Also the buttons are confusing so it might have been user error. I am disappointed that I didn't get to use the steam room but the sauna was great. Breakfast was basic. Not much selection for fresh fruit. They have a fancy coffee machine that makes lattes and cappuccinos. There is a bar area which offers some dinner as well. There's also a lovely fountain in the front. About an hour drive to Santa Cruz boardwalk area. Great location, can't wait to visit again!

The atrium is a great place to sit, relax, enjoy a glass of wine, and unwind after a long day. It really has the feel of a much higher-end hotel. Unfortunately, the guest room was a different story. For the price of the room, I expected much better attention to cleanliness and maintenance. The carpet had numerous stains throughout the room and looked like it hadn't been deep cleaned in quite some time. The couch cushions were visibly stained, the tile floors were dirty with scuff marks and grime, and even the cabinet surfaces showed stains and wear. These weren't isolated issues--they were noticeable throughout the room. Overall, this hotel has a lot of potential. The common areas are attractive, the staff was pleasant, and the atmosphere is relaxing. However, the condition and cleanliness of the guest rooms don't match the image the hotel presents when you first walk in. I hope management invests in deep cleaning and refreshing the rooms because this property could easily be a four- or five-star experience with better housekeeping and maintenance.

I was happy with the location of my room because it was close to the entrance. I could park nearby and it was easy to load and unload my car. However, the room left a lot to be desired. The bathroom was so tiny and the toilet was positioned right in front of the mirror so you had to either position yourself on one side of the toilet really close to the counter or you stood to the right of the toilet, but far from the counter. The shower door had a gap so the water leaked from the shower onto the floor. It is just a matter of time before the flooring will warp because of this water. The bed was okay. I wish they had firmer pillows The hotel is located behind an In-N-Out. I thought this would be cool cause I could just easily walk to In-N-Out for food. However, it was so crowded with people going through the drive-thru and people hanging out in the parking lot behind it. The hotel is located at McCarthy Ranch, which has numerous restaurants both sit down and fast food and shop. This usually meant that the area was pretty busy. As far as Hiltons go, this wasn't the best. I was hoping that the location would make up for it, but it actually worked against it.

We have not had the need to pay for parking at any of the other Hyatt houses and Hyatt places before. Silly, I thought. The plaza had cautionary signs about car break ins and safety every 20 feet. On top of the staff the light rail noise was as about as bad. We are gold status so you would think they would situate us in a different location. This morning was not any better. We were on the side that is the entrance to hotel and around 7 a.m. someone with a trash barrel/rollers were so loud I was woken up. We went to the breakfast and our expectation wasn't too high but seriously the lack of choices was horrible. No bagels, fruit, no half and half or milk, the hot food looked like it had been out for a bit too long. We went back to our room in hopes of laying down for a little bit before heading home but the housekeeping staff decided having the door open to the room they were cleaning and music playing loudly was a better idea. To top this off, they thought they were auditioning for American Idol or something. Seriously, how could anyone mistake a guest across the way. Our sign was in the door "do not disturb " so it was obvious that there was a guest in the room. Terrible shower, no water pressure at all. To get any amount of water on you I had to stand right under shower head. Nearly impossible to rinse soap off. We have been Marriott members and typically stay next door at another Marriott but the price was higher than TownePlace Suites. We will never stay at this place again and most definitely will not recommend it. We also bought a few snack items at desk and yes we understand that price would be higher but $10 for 6 cookies? Worst experience ever!
