I made a reservation and when I got there for it, they didn't have any king bedrooms and I added one more night because I wasn't feeling good and they charged me 50$ more than my first night stay for the same room. The first man that helped me when I first got there was very kind and sweet but the second man that worked the following day charged me so much more and wasn't helpful at all. I feel I should've been charged the same amount for the second night because it wasn't my fault that they didn't have the room I reserved. read more

As a dog mom, this place is great. I got a pet-friendly room which is on the bottom floor and there's tons of grassy areas right in front of my room should my doggie need to go to the bathroom. The room is spacious and beds are comfortable. My room was clean. Yes, I could hear the freeway, but it didn't bother me. They did provide earplugs which I didn't use. I'm familiar with the area so I know that the area is very safe even though it's tucked away. Breakfast is the standard BW fare with favorites like eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, fruit, yogurt. Hotels can be difficult to review as experiences can vary depending on many factors. I have stayed here many times. I come to the area every month and stay for about a week at a time for the past 2 years. The staff is always accommodating and pleasant. Marisol is a sweetheart. My stays are always hassle free. The rooms are clean, housekeeping staff is nice. They can be a little stingy with the towels but if you ask nicely they'll give you what you need. Fridge and microwave in the room along with the standard amenities. It's not a luxury hotel obviously so if you are into fancy places you should spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. This is a simple, clean, no fuss place to sleep. There are several food places and gas stations that are walkable as well as a Starbucks across the street. The freeway is very close and can be noisy. The noise does not bother me but some may not agree. The hotel polices are standard, $100 card deposit required at check in. Released after check out if no damage occurs. I've never had any issues with overcharging or anything like that. They allow pets as well, i don't know the fee off the top of my head but it's not a ridiculous amount which is nice. The best way to book is directly thru the hotel, their rewards point system is my favorite of all the hotel chains. They have a great free breakfast with lots of options. They have quick snacks (muffins, yogurt, breakfast bars, breads, cereals) as well as hot food (eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles). Clean breakfast area with lots of seating. All Best Westerns are individually owned and operated, however most are very true to standards. This is an older property right next to the freeway. The paint is bubbling and peeling on the walkways, and the elevator was pretty dirty, so I was worried what condition the room would be in. Pleasantly surprised by a clean and well appointed room. Our room is on the east side, which looks out to the freeway. With the TV off, you hear quite a bit of road noise, but the windows appear to be dual panes that cut down the noise quite a bit. If it bothers you they provide complimentary ear plugs, haha. We chose Best Western because breakfast is included. In Utah that meant scrambled eggs, waffles etc. Here it means watered down coffee and some prepackaged pastries. Not a fan. Again, each Best Western is independently owned and operated. The pool is outside and there is a lot of road noise, but kids don't care! The pool area looked cleaning well cared for. What I liked: fantastic value - it was something like $112 for one night, although I noticed my refundable $100 deposit hasn't been refunded yet; very near major freeways for easy on, easy off access; and super clean, comfortable rooms. What might be improved: the towels were very thin; breakfast eggs were powdered and the bacon was the thinnest, fattiest, undercooked ever - but there were other options - nonfat Greek yogurt is what I ended up with; restroom is needed in the lobby - we had driven quite a distance and had to use the restroom - my husband had to leave in search of one while I "held it" and tried to quickly check in to use the restroom in our room. I'm guessing the area is very sketchy, hence no restroom in the lobby. Conclusion: I am willing to pay double or triple the amount to have a better hotel read more

The check in area was small, and there was not a whole lot of standing room for a group of people who wanted to check in at the same time. The free breakfast was okay. So I check in at 8 o'clock after a long night - very tired. When I finally fall asleep at 11:20 the phone rings and it's a new front end person that just started her shift. The very first thing she says is I'm going to call the police and have your car towed if you don't get out here and move it right now. Lots of attitude for no apparent reason. Are you kidding me? When I get out of bed to move my car Locanda is waiting for me outside and I kind of give her the business about waking me up at 11:30 and threatening me right off the bat she's giving me the business about how it's a fire lane. I tell her I asked permission and was granted. I drive to the back of the hotel don't see a spot so I go back to the front of the hotel and guess who's parked in the exact same spot that I was in? Locanda and when I ask her did she just want me to move so she could park there? She looks me dead in the eyes and says yes. I am beyond pissed and I'm done with Best Western if I don't get satisfaction in the morning. I definitely do not recommend staying at this hotel which is sad to say because I've been staying at Best Western for about nine years. Hello Hilton properties here I come. Zero stars! Definitely a case of getting what you pay for. Not entirely sure how this property secured a "plus" designation as there is nothing plus about this location. Its damn near a SureStay if it weren't for the breakfast. Located right by a freeway, and I was told there was earplugs in each room. Found the card referencing the earplugs in my room but no actual plugs. Whatever, the noise wasn't that bothersome. I had requested a top level room close to the elevator. Was given the top level room after I requested it at check-in. Was assured the room was "near" the elevator. Spoiler alert - it was not. It was actually as far away from the lift as possible. Room was clean enough, had nice water pressure and hot water in the shower. The coffee maker is a Keurig which is always nice and the fridge is an actual small fridge with freezer area and not the usual square "cold space" found in some hotel rooms. Cons: the charging ports on the lamps only worked when the lamp was on and the connections were so old and worn out - half the time the simply didn't work. I didn't think the bed was all that comfortable, it was pretty rock solid but I get that bed comfort is pretty subjective. There were some pretty sus stains on the office chair. I rolled that thing in the corner of the room and tried to forget about it. The door and its locks left a lot to be desired. This place is using the old swing bar style which doesn't leave me with a lot of confidence. You could feel a super cold breeze through the door jams. I would definitely recommend bringing your own door lock/alarm. This area is a little hard-up for decent hotels so BW gets the job done but I won't be returning when I come back for my annual event in this area. read more

Absolutely horrible and disgusting! The staff is extremely racist, mean, and degrading. The two men that assisted us in check in would not acknowledge my Asian fiancé one bit, and they collectively talked down to an older couple. It was appalling. When we took advantage of the free breakfast. Everything was gross. Soggy food, water down juice, etc. and the chef woman was a completely unprofessional in serving us. She was rude, condescending, and was pointedly ignoring us. I would not come back here if it was the only option. This was a poor choice hotel. And that is the staff. The rooms are disgusting. OK from the outside looks great. Walked into the lobby was greeted with a smile from the guy that was very very nice very very clear and also extremely helpful. He was a white gentleman with glasses amazing customer service above and beyond. couldn't tell you how welcome I felt. going on towards the end he explained everything clearly to me about check out breakfast everything I needed in the area if I needed any type of help he would help me and went above and beyond what great customer service 100% well done. Got to the room the room was neat clean and everything I wanted a little pricey but very cozy very cozy now feeling welcome went outside to have a cup of coffee and enjoy the pool. Woke up for the breakfast. thinking it was gonna be one of those breakfaces where you grab a sandwich or pastry and some weak coffee and getting work. 2 hours later have a stomach ache. The room seemed clean but both my partner and I felt like there was bugs crawling on us at night. The air conditioner in the middle of summer and fridge did not work, the bathroom fan was horribly noisy, and the shower head was the worst ever. I was in the jacuzzi with my buddy, lost track of time, the front desk guy "Mike" came to the gate and let us know that it was 10:05 and was time to get out. We immediately (I mean with zero hesitation) started to gather our stuff and make our way out of the pool area. We had a few personal items next to us to wrap up (power bank, phone, phone cable, etc.) but after about 40 seconds "Mike" says "if you take any longer I'm calling the cops". This is the absolute worst I've ever been treated at any hotel I've ever stayed at. This guy obviously has a personal vendetta against a certain group of people, and it's disgusting. Never been so unwelcome by any "hospitality" business in my life. Save your money and stay at Motel 6 or something unless you know "Mike" isn't working here. read more

Marisole could use some serious lessons in customer service. My husband was told he was lying and she was rude after we went to renew our room with a rate given to us by a manager on-site. She called who she said is the "real manager" and he was just as rude and claimed to not be the person we spoke to. So they refused to honor the rate give to us by one of their people. She also claimed Mon-Wed is busiest time for them which is also bull. Hotels are busy on the weekend and the most expensive. This trip has been hard enough and now they aren't honoring the rate given to us leaving us looking for an affordable option. If you don't want to honor a rate ....fine. But you don't have to treat people so horribly. We usually love the Best Western brand because of its customer service and will be coming to the Bay Area quite often. It's unfortunate we have to scratch this place off our list now. It's hard when these places are individually owned. Ya never know who or what you're going to get. I've stayed in many different hotels since I love traveling. This hotel is by far the worst one I've ever stayed in. The staff is indifferent and doesn't seem to care about their mismanagement. The place is loud with freeway traffic, smoke alarms are short of batteries, charges are random with no reason, and there is no actual breakfast as advertised. After encountering two rooms with the beeping smoke alarm, we asked for a refund. The staff agreed but was unapologetic. Later I checked with the credit card company and found the charges were all wrong. Their providing earplugs are a clear message about the noise level there. I'd recommend staying away since they charge a higher hotel fee for a subpar motel quality. read more

I planned on rating only 1 star. However, the manager did reach out to me and gave a discount, so, I will rate two stars. I will provide some details about my stay. First, the lady that greeted me upon check-in was not only on an obvious personal call, but was visiting with a friend when I walked up. I did not wait long, however, should not have had to wait at all. The WiFi coverage was not only poor, but intermittent at best. This issue goes beyond a mere poor signal issue. However, I immediately knew this was an ongoing issue when the front desk recommended moving closer to the router to resolve the issue. They didn't ask any other questions or offer any troubleshooting. I could hear heavy footsteps above me. The Air Conditioner struggled to maintain a temperature. The noise from the road made it hard to stay asleep. I did notice a card on the night table that recommended wearing ear plugs, however, there were no earplugs. Well, that and the bed was very hard. Unfortunately, if it was just the WiFi issue, I might consider staying again. Due to my overall experience, I will not stay again. read more

Best Western was holding a deal where you have to stay a night to keep your rank as a member of their rewards program. So I decided to make it a foodie vacation and stayed for a night. The Pros: -Close to the Pleasanton/Dublin BART station (2 blocks away) -Close to a Peet's coffee at Specialty's Cafe & Bakery (next door) -Relatively cheap (It was $99 a night) -You are next to the 580 freeway -You are given ear plugs just in case -A 3 story hotel with elevator access The Cons: -Bed is stiffer than normal (I slept fine, but some people might have trouble) -You are next to the 580 freeway (noise might be an issue) -Internet is horrible (details below) -Really dark interior. I had to feel out for a light switch on a lamp when I arrived around 3 pm. The internet (taken at 4 pm and 8 am using fast.com and speedtest): Ping- 50-150 ms Download: 1.5-2.9 Mbps Upload: 0.5-1.6 Mbps -Only good for Youtube, sending e-mails, and general web surfing. Nothing hi-speed about it. Particularly if you are so close to San Jose, San Francisco, and Oakland. I was in a regular Best Western in Jackson, CA. It had an internet speed of 55 Mbps (D) and 10 Mbps (U). When a regular Best Western is beating out a "Plus", then there is something wrong. read more

My husband and I were very impressed with the quality of the room space and decor. The highway is right next door and I was a bit concerned,however we slept well, and the noise didn't disrupt our stay. I would rate a 5 star however the house keeping staff knocked on our door twice. Once for housekeeping 2hours before checkout and she kept knocking then another time for maintenance which wasn't requested by our party. My rest was disrespected and disturbed do to their incompetence of quality quest service. My advice be crystal clear with not be disturbed. 3 stars for property and room decor. This was the worst Best Western i have ever stayed at. Made me feel like i was staying at some cheap hotel in Sunnyvale or Martinez which are also home to the most awful hotels‍. The pool which was only reason we stayed as all the nice hotels such as Embassy had still closed pools, was small, dirty with bugs and leaves, and the hot tub was lukewarm with no working jets...They literally leave ear plugs to avoid the freeway noise. BW are known for decent breakfasts but not when they bag it. Literally a water, awful muffin and granola bar. Nothing like i had hoped to start off the celebration of my 4th sons 13th birthday. I am a soccer mom who stays in many hotels and this is one of the worst!! A complete disappointment. For any one looking to stay in area go Embassy or crowne or hilton. And no, of course not the beautiful that we see when stepping out in Nevada gawking at the highly impressive hotels, enjoying the grandiose lavishness of it all.. But the beauty of a very well kept, highly presentable, quality hotel. Of all the hotels and motels in the general vicinity, this is the one I'd have my parents stay at. And get this..the prices are only slightly higher than the motels in the area. Stay includes breakfast in the morning, plasma tv, remote, iron and ironing board, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, quality temperature control, tons of parking for large vessels to small bikes, and a beautiful yet simplistic view. I'm sure I've left out some things as well. The location is also to my liking, right off the freeway and within walking distance of a mall, banks, shopping centers, gas stations, and the West Dublin/Pleasanton Bart station.
