I cannot speak on this place enough!!! My daughter and I went there expecting to just get one bowl, and upon trying that one bowl we were hooked! We have been back almost every single day since then lol!!! The customer service is amazing including the owner himself! The ambience is relaxing and calming (I LOVE their furniture and decor of the place), but the most important (besides the customer service) thing is the food and that is an A!!! The food is so good that every time we go in we meet other regulars who also frequent Better Bowls one daily basis. The concept was the star attraction is the protein bowl. The yogurt in the bowl has 40-60 gram of protein!!!! (They have a vegan option which has half the protein but still it's a lot at 20-30 grams). And the selection has of ingredients is what makes you keep coming back for more. I personally love the Bliss, the peanut butter drizzle based, and the Beauty bowls. Or you can customize!!! They also have other light healthy food, drinks (protein drinks options as well!), and protein coffee options as well (yes you can also get regular coffee too). My favorite is their Matcha protein drink which has around 22 grams of protein!!! And to top it off, Better bowls has a variety of protein bars and protein drinks you can take on the go!!! It's conveniently located in heart of WEHO on Santa Monica between Erewhon market and John Reed fitness. I challenge you to stop by and at least try ONE bowl. You too will be hooked!!! First time trying Better Bowls and I'm in love! Parking is validated (chefs kiss to that!). When you walk, in the shop itself is beautifully decorated with a very easy kiosk to order from. The owner, Sari, has amazing energy and is super helpful! He really makes the experience! The menu is fantastic, many options for all dietary types, super healthy and customizable. Grab and go selection is fantastic too with lots of drink options and protein bars. If your menu photos don't match reality, your descriptions are vague, and your response to legitimate complaints is indifference, customers deserve to know before ordering. This wasn't a minor inconvenience or someone nitpicking portion sizes. This was a genuinely misleading order experience from start to finish. I ordered "The Toonie" from Better Bowls through Uber Eats for $4.99 based on the photo shown in the app. The image displays what appears to be a normal full coffee. What arrived was essentially an empty paper cup with roughly an inch of espresso sitting at the bottom. Two small sips at best. At no point in the listing is it made remotely clear that this is basically just a double espresso shot. If you are going to charge nearly $5 for an espresso-sized drink, the description should explicitly say that and the photo should accurately reflect it. Instead, the menu presentation gives the impression you're ordering an actual coffee beverage. What made the experience worse was the complete lack of professionalism afterward. I spent over an hour dealing with Uber Eats support trying to resolve something that should have been straightforward. No refund. No accountability. Just endless canned responses while ignoring the fact that the product delivered did not reasonably match the expectation created by the listing. Then I called the phone number listed on Better Bowls' own website, only to get what sounded like the owner's personal cell phone. He seemed more annoyed that I called after business hours than concerned that a customer had received a clearly misleading order. If the number should not be used for customer support, don't list it publicly as your business contact. The bigger issue here is not the espresso itself. It's the overall attitude. At every step, the response was basically: "Not our problem." No attempt to understand the issue. No effort to make it right. No basic customer care. read more
