The smoothies were some of the best I've had in LA -- incredibly fresh, balanced, and flavorful. We tried the Tony Special, the Melrose Special, and the Coconut Cardamom, and each one was fantastic in its own way. What made the experience even better was the service. Vahe, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and attentive. He made us feel right at home and clearly takes pride in what he serves, giving us a few free samples of his favorite items! It was a big enough sandwich that I took the other half home! I also got a cornbread muffin from Gumbo pot- which was good but a little dry. There's plenty of shade, though the area is mostly outdoors- lots of trees and buildings with covers and awnings. There's a fancy French market in there and plenty of eating options (though open hours vary). Come by this historic stop, walk through the Grove, and enjoy the hustle and bustle!

You can also park in the Grove's multi-story parking structure, but they will not accept validation from Farmer's Market businesses. The Grove also has Valet parking on premises. Venue 4 stars: Nice rustic but well-kept open air set up that has been around for almost 100 years! It is focused on local and international food.
