Customer service skills is sorely lacking. Not quite sure if it's ignorance or plain tweaker rage by the drive thru employee. I made the newbie mistake of entering the drive thru on the wrong lane. He arrogantly claimed there's a sign even after I admitted I didn't see it. He wasted our time by quarantining us in the other lane and letting 6 cars go ahead of us. It's just your average (expensive) coffee shop. Parking is a challenge, and the drive through is awkward but well organized. We parked and went to the front. Service was friendly and helpful. The food menu was very complete and looked good. We only ordered coffee. One Latte and one Americano. Both tasted average. Nothing special. There are two tables in front and 1 on the side. It's fine for a quick cup if you can find parking, and better overall than the Seattle based coffee shops that are on every corner. read more

They could use a little work honestly. The first time I ordered the chili crisp breakfast wrap it was cold and not cut in half. My croissant was microwaved to the point it was entirely too soft and I didn't bother eating it. Drive thru experience was organized. Mobile orders take as long as drive thru apparently. I think it's more of an inconvenience to order thru my phone. Instead, I should just order in person. Still coming by tho because it's the closest to me. read more

Tried the location in hilcrest once and it was delicious, but never went back due to location. So glad they opened one in Bonita because I'm always in this area. Their wasn't a line this morning at 1030am on Monday FYI....last 2 weeks of Grand opening the lines were crawling on the streets. There is option for walk up window order or drive thru (2 lanes). They have a mobile app to scan and earn reward points. Today we tried The Better Buzz Coffee vanilla cream with soy - HOT; also the Snickerdoodle Latte in soy - HOT ... these coffees have flavor if you're into that. If you want a kick try their Americano or Nitro Cold Brew! Love the option for avo toast, sandwiches, acai bowls. Today I tried the Better Breakfast 8/10 and the Ham & Cheese Crossaint 8/10. The food and drink came our quick no problem and service was professional. I would definitely try this place again! Looks modern and the area is kept clean too. Some of my favorite drinks are, the Coconut Buzz, Horchata Iced Latte and the Best Drink Ever, and as always, it lived up to its name - rich, flavorful, and perfectly brewed. Their food is also amazing; and I love that they have gluten free options as someone with celiac. I can't get enough of the best breakfast sandwich on gluten free bread. I've also had the feta avocado toast on gluten free bread so good. They have some gluten free pastry options. But what really makes this location great is the fantastic customer service from Malia- she makes the whole experience even better. I'll definitely be back soon! Highly recommend. read more

Hit or miss on every visit... 1st visit: expected long drive thru line on a weekend morning, employee that was holding the sign to signal to go to a line kept flipping it so we got confused & went into a line and got attitude from the employee taking orders, he could've told us in a nicer way to only go when properly signaled. 2nd visit: better, more organized drive thru now that they're not blocking the other buildings entrance/walk way 3rd visit: ordered via app, for a 10:15am order. Got thru to the window by 10:10, and was told my order was not released and advised to go back in line. Went back in line, didn't get back to window until 10:30ish and my drink was melted and watery. I would advise to order in person instead!! 4th visit: Fast line not and for an afternoon, however açaí bowl wouldn't recommend as it was melted and soupy when handed to us. ~would recommend the lavender latte with the cinnamon cream top and oatmilk! read more

Drinks are good and staff's friendly. Their blueberry scone isn't too bad either. It's a 3-star for me because the drive thru experience was just uncoordinated. It's a zigzag which I understand, but they should tell people who to follow (i.e., follow the xzy car - since they were the last to place and order and you were next). I get in line and there's only one car behind me. Next thing you know, the 4 cars that ordered after me somehow made it to the window before me and the car in front of me. It's no wonder why it takes long because those who came way later are getting their drinks first. I finally got to my window and wouldn't you know it, my blended drink has been sitting so of course it was all liquidated. I'm not going to be that person who is going to ask them to remake it, but quite disappointed that I ordered my drink at 10:08 and didn't get it till 10:37. I suggest to download their app and order for pick. But even then, we had ours scheduled for 12:30pm and wasn't ready until 12:50pm. Whoever handled the window on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at around 3:00 PM - I was literally standing outside, in the sun, with my family (an infant) for over 25 minutes. It wasn't even a busy day. I've seen rush hour at Starbucks have better quality service than the ladies at the front window. There was probably maybe one or two people just waiting by the area for their mobile orders... With that said, I was not greeted nor served in anyway. It was pretty insulting to say the least. Even a "can you please hold for a few minutes" would have nice... Instead, I was standing outside looking sad, like a dog waiting to come inside, after my owners left me out on the rain. It didn't help, that I say employees inside of the window, literally polishing plastic cups of some sort... So after my brief sunbathing experience outside the front window, I decided to pack up my family, and give this establishment another chance. I went through the drive-through. If it wasn't for the service of the young lady doing the drive-through orders, this particular location would have been 1 star. But the young lady was very informative, personable, and provided fantastic customer service. Food is obviously good. It's the Better Buzz franchise. But if you're longing for something convenient, from my experience, it's a dice roll, so I suggest do a mobile order. Because human interaction here, is filled with incompetency (at the front window). read more

The wait for the coffee is a bit much and the coffee through the years has become less and less consistent. Theres nothing special about it even with the unique names of the coffees. The avocado toast is still very good but again the wait is a lot, and you really have to plan for it in your day or save it for the weekend and there's plenty of other establishments that are more timely and better quality. read more
