My sister tried this place and mentioned it was good so we decided to stop by today after lunch. This coffee shop is inside a small plaza shared with a laundromat and a teriyaki spot. The store is super cute and love that they have photos of the owners fluffy puppy to make you say "awww" as you decide what to order. The worker told me the lotus cream top was their most popular drink so I ordered that and my sister got the August special since that drink will only be available for this month. It was a peach drink topped with a matcha cream top and sprinkles in a cute cup with tiny jewels glued to the cup with Hodu's face. The cup was too cute to toss I brought it home lol. I've wanted to try this coffee shop for a while now and I'm so glad I did! The coffee shop itself is adorable with a cute seating area. My brother ordered one of the Valentine's Drinks with a peach top and peach brew. He also really enjoyed his drinks. The employees here were friendly and willing to explain what their drinks were. They were quick to make them and it was delicious as well. For a new cafe, I think it was very well run and decorated. They have a variety of drinks and offerings. One of the best around the neighborhood so I always try to get it when I can :) Environment - locating at the end of a small strip mall, Ssum has a great parking lot for you to use while you stop by. There's a table or two outside, but plenty of space for you to sit and chat while enjoying your coffee on the inside. My favorite is the roundabout wooden bench in the middle of the store! Here's what I ordered: **Lotus Cream Top: I opted to get oat milk and ordered the drink half sweet after reading several other reviews stating that the drink is on the sweeter side. When I order a signature latte, I like to taste the bold espresso flavor but this drink didn't deliver that. I enjoy a creamy drink but the espresso portion was very subtle and was way too creamy all the way through. The cream top was on the thinner side but the flavor was good. I loved the addition to the crispy biscoff cookie on top. I've had subpar experiences in the past with soggy biscoff cookie toppers but kudos for them for not doing the same. However, there were little bits of biscoff cookie crumbles on the bottom of the drink which led to a soggy aftermath. I wish I had tasted a bolder espresso flavor but this reminded me more of a dessert-like beverage. (2/5) **Iced Americano: This was a solid Americano with a bold flavor.
