Lavender matcha latte & Pistachio cinnamon latte
    Nana K.

Got the perfect morning buzz thanks to Better Buzz Coffee. What a vibrant little place! And quite possible THE best iced coffee I've ever had. So many tempting drink options, but I chose their pistachio cinnamon iced latte. SO GOOD, with the perfect amount of sweetness, boldness, and flavor. Hubbie got their lavender matcha latte, oh man it was so good. I never order lavender flavors anymore because it never tastes right, but Better Buzz got it damn right. Other interesting options include Horchata latte, snickerdoodle latte, and "best drink ever". They offer complimentary puppy treats for pups! It's basically whipped cream, but who can resist treating your fur baby? It was the perfect outing to brighten our morning. The drinks, the friendly service, and the electric decor. Perfect place to enjoy the best coffees, and bee happy in the moment. Cheers, because life is better buzzed!

Had an exceptional experience here at Better Buzz. I'm satisfied with the eats and drinks. Atmosphere is nice and clean. Customer service was excellent! I had a pleasant experience, workers are chill and they were helpful with recommendations since it was our first time here. Shoutout Sabrina, thank you! We also tried their breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. I will be coming back to get buzzed :)

Decided to check what the buzz is about :) Did drive thru and the girl who took our order was super sweet and helpful with our questions. I was very pleasantly surprised with how delicious their drinks tasted. I am very much looking forward to trying out other drinks on their menu. I also noticed that they offer acai bowls- yum! I ordered their lavender matcha and it was delicious! I have seen that their lines can get pretty long during peak hours. So just take that into consideration when coming by.

3 visits in since this spot opened and I really think they need some time to work on things. This was another early morning visit for me, around 7am. I had mobile ordered at 6:48 with an estimated ready time of 6:53. I ordered the killer bee, my usual. I arrived at 7:02 and walked straight to the order pickup shelves and my drink wasn't there so I went to the register and asked the worker who directed me to go over to order pickup. I had walked over from that direction so I would have hoped with me being the only person in the shop that would have been noticed. I walked over to the other end and went to talk to the barista at the drink counter, she was busy making a drink so I wasn't acknowledged and I felt bad waiting for an opportunity to interrupt. When she finished the drink she looked up and I let her know I was waiting on a mobile order and I was told it wasn't ready but I saw it on the back counter so I asked and it turns out that was my order. For the second time was a clunky process for something that is meant to be convenient. While this location is close to me there are other spots not much further and until the kinks are worked out I don't see much reason to choose this spot.

Had such a great experience at Better Buzzed Santa Ana! Huge shoutout to Heidy and Desiree they were both super friendly, incredibly helpful, and gave amazing recommendations. You can tell they really care about the customer experience. We ordered the Better Buzzed sandwich with extra bacon and avocado (so good), the OG açaí bowl, and a nitro cold brew all solid, no notes. We also tried the mango strawberry refresher and the blueberry lavender lemonade with a caffeine boost, which was so delicious and refreshing. We also got the banana cream top matcha. Flavor-wise it was good, but personally a bit too sweet for me next time I'd definitely ask for it less sweet. Overall, loved everything and will 100% be back. Great drinks, great food, and even better staff.

Came here in the Grand Opening of this Buzz location in Santa Ana, CA. They had a special giveaway to the first 200 guests where you got a sticker, reusable cup, and a special Buzz hat. It was a little festive as the had the normal balloons and signs posted, but the I have to give props to the young lady who was dancing her heart out as the Buzz Bee. I ordered a Caramel Vanilla Latte Iced and it was pretty good. Please come out and support this establishment.

I have been going to Better Buzz for a while. Before I would have to drive to San Diego to get some but now it's a 15 minute drive. I love a large Snickerdoodle latte. Their other drinks are good too. The people are kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. I love their breakfast sandwich or a pesto sandwich.

This location is fairly new yet service is friendly quick and efficient. I've only gone through their drive thru so I can't say how it is inside but I can guess it's probably pretty efficient as well. Love their Moroccan spiced coffee, ham and cheese croissant is served warm and flaky and it's delicious, their feta avocado toast is my favorite by far it is soo good!! I mean where else can you get amazing avocado toast thru a drive thru?! I also recently had the breakfast wrap with the spicy crunch oil it was tasty but could have used more of the crunch oil inside. Overall I'm loving Better Buzz and can't wait to try their other popular drinks (banana pudding coffee drink) and food! A way better option to Starbucks in my opinion: ) Come check them out!

Overly priced and overly sweet. Love that this location has a drive through and service was great. They have many staff outside to keep the drive through line moving and they were all very nice. Offered a free pup cup! Downside: so many up charges and just high prices in general. Got my coffee 1/2 sweet and it still was sugar overload. The wrap had no flavor and the tortilla was hard but I'm thankful I brought it home to add some sauces. Overall great service, clean new location, and helpful staff... but unfortunately the coffee is overwhelmingly sweet and the food lacks a lot of flavor for the price.

I got an iced coffee for the next morning and a jasmine tea for that evening -- both were exquisite. The tea was refreshing and the coffee is so flavorful, strong without being bitter and lots of delicious notes. The guy working behind the counter was so kind too -- appreciate his thoughtfulness once he found out I would drink it next morning, he held on putting ice in so it would stay concentrated til the next day. I need to go back and buy a pound or two of coffee -- or maybe they can open one closer to me in LA too :)

My husband ordered the Brown Sugar Maple Latte and absolutely loved the rich, warm flavors. One of our favorite parts was the outdoor seating area. We loved dining outside and enjoying the beautiful weather while sipping our drinks and relaxing. It created the perfect atmosphere to slow down and enjoy the experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, the drinks were excellent, and the food was just as impressive. I came in today and was served by a blonde cashier who felt cold and unfriendly. She was very bubbly and warm towards the patron (who was also a white woman) before me, who maybe seemed to be a friend or a regular. They were chatting for a bit and when it came to be my turn at the register, her face completely fell and she did not welcome me or say any greeting. Just.....silence........so I awkwardly ordered my drink. Once I said my order, she turned her head to the specials menu, and had a cold, blank expression, which made me think that it was out or that they couldn't do what I asked. I asked her if the drink I ordered was available, and there was a long pause before she dryly laughed it off and said that she didn't register what I was saying. It felt like a lame excuse and it felt so awkward; so I just tried to be as polite as possible and continued with my order. I wanted to just sit down and leave asap. It was so disorienting because she had acted in a completely different way with the girl before me. I just shrugged it off as a bad day, but when I consulted my friend about it, she said that the same girl acted in the same way towards her. And then I came here to write a review and saw that another Asian woman seemed to have a similar experience, so it doesn't just seem like a one-off thing....

Still, I decided to give this place a second chance (no angry neighbor this time), and I was glad I did! PARKING: There's street parking around the neighborhood - I parked on Almond Ave so I wasn't in front of a house. The spots right outside the shop were 30 minute only. If you can't find parking there's probably tons as you go east if you're willing to walk. WHAT I ORDERED: Pistachio cream cold brew THE DRINK: Amazing. I've had my share of acidic or bitter cold brews, and this was not one of them. The cream was perfectly sweetened and flavored . SERVICE: Exceeded my expectations. The baristas when I came in were very bubbly and answered my questions and gave me suggestions, and were funny too! I wish I got their names, but they were working on Monday early afternoon - I hope they get some recognition. We also got some samples of the food items (which may have swayed me to get the turkey panini next time I come in). Even with the experience I had above a while back ago, I remember going in to let the baristas know and they were very understanding and apologetic, which I really appreciated. VIBES: Probably one of the top coffee shops to get work done in OC. Here's my work-from-coffee-shop checklist: * OUTLETS: So many. Not at the tables downstairs but in the private rooms and at a lot of the seating upstairs. * WIFI/INTERNET: Yes, good speed * BATHROOMS: Yes, clean * WATER: You can ask for free water * VOLUME: Music was a little bit loud but not terrible * SEATING AVAILABILITY: Lotsssss of seats when I came on a Monday late morning-afternoon. Very cool that there were private rooms (which can be reserved two hours in advance if you call them), tables, bar-style seating upstairs, and most importantly, comfy couches!! * LAPTOP FRIENDLINESS: No restrictions BOTTOM LINE: I can't believe I almost missed out on this gem. I'll be back soon!

Unfortunately, this visit was one disappointment after another. We arrived at 8:30 a.m. hoping for a peaceful coffee-and-breakfast morning. Instead, we accidentally wandered into what felt like a Janis Joplin tribute concert. The music was blasting at nightclub volume--not exactly the relaxing start to the day we had in mind. But surprisingly... that wasn't even the worst part. The food was incredibly disappointing. I ordered the breakfast burrito, and the potatoes were still raw--hard enough to remind me they were once part of the ground.. My husband ordered the French toast, which looked suspiciously like it took a quick detour from Trader Joe's frozen aisle before landing on our table. There's nothing wrong with frozen French toast... unless you're charging $14 and calling it brunch. Another friend ordered the granola with berries. After a few bites, he gave it a skeptical look, pushed the bowl away, and decided breakfast simply wasn't worth the gamble. The coffee was decent , but honestly wasn't worth fighting the neighbors for a parking spot!

People were greeting the barista by name and saying "see you next time" when they left, which made it feel like one of those local spots everyone secretly wants as their regular coffee shop. The barista was super friendly too and chatted with me while making my drink. I believe their espresso leans toward a lighter roast, coming through bright and expressive, while the milk drinks are dialed in with that smooth, silky texture that makes you want to savor. Parking, however, due to the other popular neighboring restaurants can pose a challenge. There was a line forming, but it goes by quickly and the drinks seem prebatched to save time. What I really liked was that I could taste the pandan! I also thought 75% sweetness was perfect for me. The size of the drink was also generous for the price as I'm used to smaller sizes at other matcha cafes for the same price. However, I didn't really taste the matcha which was odd because before mixing my drink fully, I took a quick sip and definitely tasted matcha. Once I did mix it though, the matcha flavor was gone, and I mainly just tasted pandan. Overall, mainly giving Airoma 4 stars for the service and efficiency! My drink was good, but not mind-blowing.
