Got the perfect morning buzz thanks to Better Buzz Coffee. What a vibrant little place! And quite possible THE best iced coffee I've ever had. So many tempting drink options, but I chose their pistachio cinnamon iced latte. SO GOOD, with the perfect amount of sweetness, boldness, and flavor. Hubbie got their lavender matcha latte, oh man it was so good. I never order lavender flavors anymore because it never tastes right, but Better Buzz got it damn right. Other interesting options include Horchata latte, snickerdoodle latte, and "best drink ever". They offer complimentary puppy treats for pups! It's basically whipped cream, but who can resist treating your fur baby? It was the perfect outing to brighten our morning. The drinks, the friendly service, and the electric decor. Now that it's been some time since my last visit, I decided to give this place another shot. Unfortunately almost everything was worse this time around. I got a cinnamon cream cold brew and unfortunately the cream was way too sweet and the cold brew was quite acidic compared to the last visit. I got the better breakfast sandwich and that was straight up inedible; the sandwich looked like it had been nuked in the microwave and then thrown together, and the garlic aioli was completely burnt so the whole sandwich tasted like an ashtray. The danish and cookie I got were also stale, but edible. Service was still nice, so I'll keep one star for that. This is simply not a high quality coffee shop, it's a subpar chain in an area with a significantly better chain coffee across the street. I really wanted to like this place as a local, but I refuse to come back seeing that things have only gotten worse. read more

Decided to check what the buzz is about :) Did drive thru and the girl who took our order was super sweet and helpful with our questions. I was very pleasantly surprised with how delicious their drinks tasted. I am very much looking forward to trying out other drinks on their menu. I also noticed that they offer acai bowls- yum! I ordered their lavender matcha and it was delicious! I have seen that their lines can get pretty long during peak hours. So just take that into consideration when coming by. read more

3 visits in since this spot opened and I really think they need some time to work on things. This was another early morning visit for me, around 7am. I had mobile ordered at 6:48 with an estimated ready time of 6:53. I ordered the killer bee, my usual. I arrived at 7:02 and walked straight to the order pickup shelves and my drink wasn't there so I went to the register and asked the worker who directed me to go over to order pickup. I had walked over from that direction so I would have hoped with me being the only person in the shop that would have been noticed. I walked over to the other end and went to talk to the barista at the drink counter, she was busy making a drink so I wasn't acknowledged and I felt bad waiting for an opportunity to interrupt. When she finished the drink she looked up and I let her know I was waiting on a mobile order and I was told it wasn't ready but I saw it on the back counter so I asked and it turns out that was my order. For the second time was a clunky process for something that is meant to be convenient. While this location is close to me there are other spots not much further and until the kinks are worked out I don't see much reason to choose this spot. read more

Better Buzz Coffee - 17th & Bristol Came in for my free coffee for downloading the app, left with a half-full identity crisis. Ordered the rose strawberry matcha (because I enjoy making adventurous choices). My teeth were feeling sensitive (price one pays for pearly white smile), so I asked for no ice. Barista kindly asks, "Do you want it filled to the top?" I mean... in what world is the answer no? Bless him, he didn't even charge me extra. Green flag. I wait. My drink is called. I grab it. Half. Full. Not "settling foam" half full. Not "a few sips missing" half full. Literally halfway to emotional damage. I politely mention that the barista had asked if I wanted it filled to the top. The response? "It would be if it had been iced." I'm sorry--what? So removing ice removes liquid? Is this quantum matcha physics? My brain short-circuited somewhere between confusion and caffeine deprivation. Strike two, because my previous lavender matcha was also a miss. At this point, I feel personally victimized by their matcha menu. Two stars only because it was free. If I had paid for half a drink, we'd be having a different conversation. Starbucks would have never done me this way. Still know I'm paying way too much but at least they play along. read more

First time visit. Ordered basic medium roast coffee. It was an excellent medium roast. The manager (who was incredibly welcoming) gave me an abandoned (not picked up) crispy breakfast wrap which was superb . Perfect blend of ham cheese and tiny amount of hash browns in a crispy tortilla. Really really great tasting . This location is right across the street from Santa Ana college on Bristol (east side of street traveling north). There's a drive thru too. Had such a great experience at Better Buzzed Santa Ana! Huge shoutout to Heidy and Desiree they were both super friendly, incredibly helpful, and gave amazing recommendations. You can tell they really care about the customer experience. We ordered the Better Buzzed sandwich with extra bacon and avocado (so good), the OG açaí bowl, and a nitro cold brew all solid, no notes. We also tried the mango strawberry refresher and the blueberry lavender lemonade with a caffeine boost, which was so delicious and refreshing. We also got the banana cream top matcha. Flavor-wise it was good, but personally a bit too sweet for me next time I'd definitely ask for it less sweet. Overall, loved everything and will 100% be back. Came here in the Grand Opening of this Buzz location in Santa Ana, CA. They had a special giveaway to the first 200 guests where you got a sticker, reusable cup, and a special Buzz hat. It was a little festive as the had the normal balloons and signs posted, but the I have to give props to the young lady who was dancing her heart out as the Buzz Bee. I have been going to Better Buzz for a while. Before I would have to drive to San Diego to get some but now it's a 15 minute drive. I love a large Snickerdoodle latte. This location is fairly new yet service is friendly quick and efficient. I've only gone through their drive thru so I can't say how it is inside but I can guess it's probably pretty efficient as well. Love their Moroccan spiced coffee, ham and cheese croissant is served warm and flaky and it's delicious, their feta avocado toast is my favorite by far it is soo good!! I mean where else can you get amazing avocado toast thru a drive thru?! I also recently had the breakfast wrap with the spicy crunch oil it was tasty but could have used more of the crunch oil inside. Overall I'm loving Better Buzz and can't wait to try their other popular drinks (banana pudding coffee drink) and food! Overly priced and overly sweet. Love that this location has a drive through and service was great. They have many staff outside to keep the drive through line moving and they were all very nice. Offered a free pup cup! Downside: so many up charges and just high prices in general. Got my coffee 1/2 sweet and it still was sugar overload. The wrap had no flavor and the tortilla was hard but I'm thankful I brought it home to add some sauces. Overall great service, clean new location, and helpful staff... but unfortunately the coffee is overwhelmingly sweet and the food lacks a lot of flavor for the price. read more

Wow, some of you sure are being rough on a brand new location in their early days. Relax and give everything a break. It's nice that this location not only has a drive-through, but you can walk in and pick up a coffee for you and there's even some very pleasant seating. The service is friendly and the drinks were made at an amazing lightning speed. By vanilla latte with almond milk was delicious and I'm looking forward to try many of the other coffee drink. It's so nice to have a place like this that's less that's only a short walk from home and I'm excited to continue to return and try some of their other offerings, including the very delicious looking bakery items that I'll hope to try soon read more

After finally trying Better Buzz I am now a huge fan! Their coffees are seriously incredible. I was very impressed and this place is now one of my favorite coffee spots. I have tried their banana pudding and cinnamon pistachio best drinks ever from their spring lineup menu. I have also tried their horchata iced latte and cinnamon cream cold brew. My absolute favorite was the horchata iced latte. It wowed me and is a perfect latte imo. It has just the right amount of sweetness, cinnamon-y horchata flavor, and delightful coffee taste in it. My other favorite was the banana pudding best drink ever. It was yummy with banana-flavored cream and what appeared to be a Nilla wafer on top. Those were my favorites, although all the drinks I tried were amazing. The cinnamon cold brew was initially too strong for my liking, however, once I mixed it, it was better. I like that they have inside and outdoor seating areas. They also have a drive-thru which is very convenient. The service was fast as the drinks came out within a few minutes. They were really nice and offered my dog a pup cup which she enjoyed. I also like that their drinks come out ice cold and it's cool that they have food items on their menu. I've known about the other locations but never got to try. So lucky that a location has opened closer to me! Went the day after grand opening and of course it's still buzzing! Drive thru line was out the parking lot and into the streets! I was lucky to find parking and went inside to order but by the looks of it, the drive thru moved constantly so it didn't look all too bad. The staff were super welcoming and full of energy. Mentioned to me about the rewards app and how to score free drinks. I'm a hazelnut fan so I had to try the hazelnut divinity. Got it hot cuz it was pretty chilly that day. And wow! I love my drink! Really appreciate the real coffee taste and love the hazelnut flavor. It got a little sweet towards the end but I still loved it! We ordered two banana pudding lattes, but unfortunately there was no banana flavor at all, which was disappointing and kind of the whole point of ordering them. Because of that, I don't really care to go back and try other drinks. That said, the employees were very nice, the inside was clean, and our order came out pretty quickly, which I appreciated, especially given how busy they were. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to return, but if you're already in the area, it might be worth trying it out for yourself. read more

Wanted to try this new better buzz near me since it looked good. I've had the actual coffee before from SD & Costa Mesa. I heard lots about the banana pudding drink so I wanted to grab it and I ended up not loving it as much as I thought I would. The banana flavor is more on the lighter side and I thought it would be stronger taste. A cookie comes in the drink which ended up melting in the coffee and didn't love that so much. Next time I would probably just order a best drink ever to keep it simple. I did ask for the base to be easy sweet which made perfect to not be so sweet and still taste coffee. I also got the horchata iced latte which was tasty but wasn't as strong on the coffee. I gave this place a 4/5 because of the parking and drive thru. I was trying to go in to check the location out but there was absolutely no parking available. The drive sometimes is out in the street which isn't the best for traffic but hopefully they work on that for safety. Overall the workers seems very friendly and nice when taking my order. I wouldn't say I would come here all the time but it's nice to have near by if I'm in the mood. Very new and modern looking from the outside. read more

The coffee shop is clean and it smells great inside with coffee and pastries. The patio seating is very nice with umbrellas. The staff are nice and fast with orders. However, they are new so some of them don't know what ingredients are in the drinks. It's highly recommended you do your research first before making your first orders of the drinks. I tried Best Drink Ever and Burstin Blue Raspberry. I was expecting the umbrella and this happy fancy look for Burstin Blue drink but I just had a regular plastic cup and some red popping candies. It is a little misleading and disappointing to be honest. The drinks are good but they did not have any unique or wow elements that set them apart from other places. The toasted bagel is very hard, not crispy, just hard. I'll come back to try the rest since it's conveniently located across from SA College :) read more

A coworker and I decided to give this spot a try after several people recommended it to us. We showed up at about 2pm on a Friday afternoon and it was PACKED. Luckily my coworker ordered everything online while we drove and it was ready by the time we arrived. We ordered coffee for us and 2 other people. Everyone ordered different things.
