No monkey business, just good vibes at Ape Coffee! Went totally bananas for their "golden ape" coffee this morning. What a treat! Perfectly bold brewed coffee infused with their own banana syrup. So good! What I love about their coffee is that it's not too sweet, too bitter, or too strong. It's perfectly blended to keep you coming back for more. We stopped by to grab some coffee while waiting for our cars to be washed, and were surprised at how busy it was. It's a small but happening place! And I can see why. Life is definitely better when you hang with the right troop, and I absolutely went ape for Ape Coffee this morning.

Coffee here was excellent, I forgot the name of the coffee I ordered but it was seasonal and had coconut and chocolate sauce with it and I thought the mix tasted great and not overly sweet. The croissant was nice and warm too.

It did not look like anyone went into any of the stores, but when I walked into ape coffee it was really busy in a good way. The girl at the counter was nice and all of the baristas were busy consistently. It was a little tight in there at times with the amount of people, but there's seating if you get a spot. Drinks -monkey business: a good blend of flavors and sweetness -snow monkey: I wish it was a little more coffee tasing with more sweet cream on top Food: -gorilla toast: I think the toast needed more flavor such as seasonings or more balsamic glaze -ham and cheese croissant

Tried this cafe for the first time and it didn't disappoint! The only thing that threw me off was the ordering setup, the menu is on an iPad right at the counter, and you can't see the prices until you're placing your order. I tried the Monkey Business and it was really good. Service was pretty minimal, nothing rude, just the bare minimum. The ambiance is nice though, with a few tables if you want to sit and get some work done, plus a restroom for customers which is always a plus.

The only place i trust a banana latte from. Everywhere else doesnt compare... the vibes in there are cool too. Super chill and quiet, good place to do homework. Coffee is pricy but well worth it. Service is also nice and quick, lots of staff working the last few times I went.

The quality of the matcha & coffee is very very good!! I loved the moody atmosphere of Ape, and enjoyed the customer service & friendly experience. As well as the speedy service! We got the incredible ape matcha, which had great notes of banana and honey. I would've loved more of a banana flavor though! The matcha quality was one of the very best I've had! As well as the tiramisu latte which is a classic & soooo delicious! Definitely think you can't go wrong with either a coffee or matcha from here!

Randomly decided to try out this coffee shop and it did not disappoint! I had one of their seasonal drinks Island Ape (chocolate cold brew with a coconut cream top with a touch of sea salt and cacao powder) which I loved because of how chocolatey it is! My boyfriend ordered their signature Tiramisu Latte (iced condensed milk latte topped with mascarpone cream, garnished with cocoa powder) which he loved as well, and was not too sweet. There were a few tables and outlets which makes it conducive to getting work done. The environment was unique with a darker aesthetic and staff were friendly (shoutout to Jann!) Bonus points for their video menu which is a really cool way to visualize what drinks to get! Only downside is parking might be tough due to the layout of the lot; but there's street parking in the nearby neighborhood as well. Overall 10/10, I definitely recommend and will come back to try out more drinks!

Long-time fan here. Every latte I've ordered has been consistently good, but my go-to favorites are the Monkey Business and the Tiramisu Latte. I never thought I'd enjoy a banana-flavored coffee, but the Monkey Business completely surprised me. It's actually really delicious and well-balanced. The Tiramisu Latte is also spot on, and ordering it half sweet makes it perfect for my taste. I also love the cool ape-themed decor and the overall vibe of the space. It feels like a cool spot to relax with a solid cup of coffee. Definitely a place I keep coming back to.

Tried this place randomly during the day! I got the banana coffee and the banana matcha. The coffee tasted good and the matcha was just okay. I got extra matcha because the original matcha is super light and weak (my friend got the normal version). It still just tasted okay i would't get it again tbh. The banana foam is good but it's not super delicious to come back for. I think i would try another coffee drink with a regular foam instead to give it another try. The coffee wasn't super strong so i'm not sure how much shots it has. they also only have one size which im personally not a fan of :( it was 16$ in total!

The coffees were both very delicious! I loved the bold flavor and creative drinks menu. I felt like the cookie was just a little chalky but it was worth the price because of the size. It's a great environment for studying as that's what my friend and I would go for. I'm a repeat customer and recommend all the drinks.

tldr; delicious matcha and coffee. also yummy snacks/food, i love their veggie quiche! small parking lot but doesn't get too busy, i've always found parking here! i always recommend it to my friends and family, even got my coworkers to start going there too! SERVICE: 5/5 workers are so friendly and sweet! i've never had a bad experience here and they always make my morning with their compliments DRINKS: 5/5 i got their mango matcha for the first time and it was sooooo delicious. the matcha was so flavorful and i loved the mango flavor in it. they paired so well together.

Honestly the only thing that I have liked from here is the mango matcha cloud, other than that there's not much I've tried I have liked.

The carnitas themselves are the star--tender, juicy pork that's been slow-cooked to perfection with that signature crispy edge on some pieces, delivering rich, savory flavor without being overly greasy. It's seasoned just right, with a nice balance of porky goodness and subtle spices that let the meat shine. Wrapped in a large, fresh flour tortilla (they make their own in-house, which always helps), it's stuffed generously with the classics: fluffy Mexican rice, creamy refried or whole beans (depending on your preference, but both work great), chopped onions, cilantro, and a solid dose of salsa. I went with their green salsa for a bright, tangy kick that cuts through the richness perfectly, plus a dollop of sour cream and cheese for that creamy melt. No skimping on portions here--it's hearty and filling, easily a meal that satisfies for hours. At around $10 (give or take, based on current pricing), it's a great value in the area. The burrito holds together well without falling apart mid-bite, and the overall balance of textures--tender meat, soft rice/beans, crisp onions--makes every mouthful enjoyable. If you're in the mood for classic carnitas done right in a casual, bakery-taqueria spot with great salsas and a friendly vibe, this one's definitely worth grabbing. I'd rate it 4.5 out of 5--only docking half a point because it's not reinventing the wheel, but it's executing the traditional style exceptionally well. Highly recommend if you're near 728 N Tustin St in Orange! Pair it with an horchata, yum

Now they sometimes answer a question, look at you like you are wasting their time, give you the wrong information or input the wrong request. Their method of delivery of food lacks organization. A simple item can take over half an hour to deliver but someone else that arrived after (who ordered a bigger and more complex item) will get their food beforehand. Several times people have to ask to correct their order once prepared and given. Things go missing or are not the right order. The food quality does not seem to be consistent. Sometimes it feels cold and not as fresh like in years past. The ingredients used feel like they come from a can. Less ingredients and smaller item size has been noticeable for tortas and tacos. Some people will get more of an ingredient than others. The size of other items ordered varies. You can order same as your companion and get something that looks and tastes different. The hand made tortillas you could buy still taste somewhat similar. The bakery side still seems to hold up to tradition and taste. The cleanliness of the place has also changed. It is a bit less kept. The sitting area can get filled up quickly by a single person or groups during peak times.

Usually parking here isn't too bad if you're staying for less than an hour and easy to walk over to the dessert shop. Baked Banhs is located in the 4th street food market, one of the first shops you'll see if you're coming from the parking lot. Note the hours before you come (for instance, they're closed on Sundays and Mondays). And note that they seem to usually sell out of certain items by the days end. We've tried a number of different items here now including four of their canelés and their basque cheesecake. The cheesecake was solid. But we really loved their canelés. They are soft/moist on the inside with a nice crunch. And the different flavors really come through. Our favorite is the black sesame - not only is there black sesame peppered on the top but also in the center with a nice black sesame cream. It's so good and delicious. Four canelés cost $16 and thought they were well worth the price. Again, it's so sad to hear that Baked Banhs is closing soon so if you're a fan of canelés or other desserts, recommended to come sooner than later to try this out!
