I went with my family and we ordered 5 drinks. The lady was very nice and quick. It didn't take long for them to create our drinks! We all enjoyed. Inside is a little cramped but there is an outside seating area!
We stopped by this coffee shop and had a really nice experience overall. Service was quick, which was great, and there were plenty of places to sit and relax. The drinks were delicious and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. The pastries were also very good, we asked for them to be warmed and they came out perfect. The decor inside is very nice and the space is very clean, which made it comfortable to hang out for a bit. The staff were friendly and patient when we asked for suggestions, and they took the time to explain different options on the menu. Another plus is that there's plenty of parking in the area, which makes it easy to stop by. Overall, it was a solid coffee spot with good drinks, tasty pastries, and welcoming service. I would definitely come back.
Plenty of parking + small interior with wifi for studying. Bathroom is located outside (ask for key). Drinks were okay, only con was that they started closing an hour early...
I LOVE tierra mía. I will say it's one of my TOP FAV COFFEE SPOTS EVER. I love the Horchata Latte either iced or hot...both hit the spot! With a side of the Tres Leches Muffin...SO YUMMY!! The employees are always nice and will give you great recommendations. I will say, depending on location, the spaces may be small for parking but it's a great environment to have coffee with friends or some alone time studying!
Ive had Tierra Mia a few times before and while the coffee is always good it tends to be on the sweeter side. I opted for an Horchata Matcha Latte today half sweet and received a green cup of watered down milk with cinnamon. I expected the horchata flavor to be mild because of the half sweet but it doesnt taste like it at all. The presence of the matcha is barely visible through the color and not at all through the flavor. I stopped by before work so I didnt have the time to request it to be remade or have any matcha added but I definitely don't think this was worth $6~7.
Great little coffee shop with focus on Mexican flavors. I have had the Mexican mocha and latte here and both have been solid. They open early and there is a nice pastry case with very good prices. I mean a flavored croissant under $4.00 is a good value now days. Seating inside. Good parking. Please come and create your own adventure.
Yooooo this spot is the shii!!! It's a little on the pricier side but it's all worth it the moment you take a sip. Our baristas were very very nice and understanding when it came to actually deciding what we wanted in the order. I wasn't able to catch the one who took our order but the girl making our drinks (Pricilla) always kept a smile across her face we did ask her name for review purposes because her energy was just so radiant! The coffee was hands down very good we got the mazapán drink along with the horchata and a 3'z leches cake and it was all super good!
Not an issue with the service, issue is with the time. It states you guys closed at 10:30am I drove my ass from Tustin and get there at 10:15pm and you guys are fully closed. Doors locked and everything put away. I can see someone walking around. But there no point of getting their attention if you guys are closed. You guys should really update the hours of operation if you guys close sooner than 10:30pm. That's about it.
Brought the whole family in here on a rainy Saturday morning. We didn't have time to go for breakfast so we stopped here for coffee and pastry. There were 8 of us, so we took up about a third of the seats in the place. Plus we had to buy take-out for a couple slugabeds who couldn't get moving in time to come with us. The interior is beautifully clean and airy. The pasties were neatly arranged in the case. The service is not as fast as St*bucks, but the people are super nice, and may I say better looking. Even though we had a rather large order, everyone got the right drinks. And everyone thought the drinks were fine. I actually thought my mocha was smoother and less bitter than what I'm used to getting. Our pastries were all warmed and delicious. I don't know the source of their pastries, but they don't appear to have a kitchen here. They must be brought in. Nonetheless, we had a very pleasant continental breakfast before heading back out into the rain. Oh, and I wondered what they had painted on the wall behind the counter. It must be good to make it so prominent. I pulled out Google Lens to find out. I shared the picture.
I've been a customer of Tierra Mia since the beginning at the South Gate location. I decided to stop by the Santa Ana location and it was a bit disappointed. There is a gentlemen who had his shoulder length hair down. He was also constantly brushing his hair away from his face. Lastly, I ordered a tres leches muffin. The muffin never disappoints. The muffin is warm (per request), moist, and sweet. However, it's hard to enjoy it without any type of utensils available for the customers.
Love love the 3 leches muffin. Other muffins are good too specially the churro one.. but 3 leches is a must try. Ive had several of their drinks and so far my favorite are the horchata cold brew and Dulce de leche latte. Service was nice and quick. Always busy too.

Yummy! Upon entering we were greeted and they were ready to take our orders. They got a lot of customers but they are quick to come out with the orders. I fell in love with the Cafecito Cubano 10/10 but yesterday I tried the new flan flavor. I rate it a 8/10. The establishment has seating inside and a bit outside and it just has a homey vibe. Excited to try more drinks! It's lovely that they have pastries available for yourself or kiddos :P Note my husband rates the matcha a 6/10 read more

Tres leches muffin was soooo good. I'd get it everyday if I could. The shop is super cute and clean. The staff wasn't super friendly but that's okay. I would def come back! read more

Tierra Mia is such a great spot for coffee. I tried the Horchata Frappuccino and it was amazing. It had the perfect mix of sweetness and cinnamon flavor that made it super refreshing. Every sip was smooth and satisfying. I'm already excited to come back soon. Their seasonal pumpkin drinks are next on my list and I can't wait to try them. Seating is not necessarily comfortable but it's great if you're just looking to grab something to go. read more

This is bomb.com coffee. I get the horchata cold brew 8/10. It's a little sweet but does come with cold forma and a bunch of cinnamon I think on top. I've tried the horchata latte that's good. Even milkier in my opinion 7/10. And the strawberry matcha is pretty good 8/10. The only downfall to this place is it seems dusty/dirty. They have a weird accent tilted wall and that is FULL of dust. Imagine how much is landing onto our coffees. Staff for the most part is friendly. It's always busy/full. Their online website doesn't have any horchata drinks so we always have to come in and spend 30-45 mins waiting. read more

Tierra Mia is a tasty coffee spot with so many options to choose. They all sound delicious and straight from the cultura. I tried the iced Coco Loco Latte and it was amazing. The gentleman who was taking orders was so kind and personable and the service was quick. read more

I have been in the OC area to visit my girlfriend. One day, she suggested we go here since she hasn't had their drinks in over 6 years. I didn't expect much but I was blown away. Like someone has mentioned, parking in this area is easy but there are a lot of speed bumps. When I entered the cafe, it wasn't too busy and had very simple decor. White walls with minimalistic decor, menu on counter and also posted where the line is. My only issue is their menu is so tiny that you either need to take a picture on your phone to look if there's others, or you need to get up close which would be blocking the line. Good thing it wasn't a big issue as it wasn't too busy. We came at a good time because they started to get a lot of people coming in quickly. My first visit, we got the horchata frappe and pumpkin spice frappe since the pumpkin was a seasonal item I believe. Order came out in little under 10 mins but it was worth the wait. I tried both and wow, they were both really good. I do have to give the edge to the Horchata one but that's no surprise since I believe they're known for their horchata drinks. Both could be a tad sweet, just a heads up to those who don't have much of a sweet tooth. Not sure if the sweetness is customizable but I don't see why not. The next day, we actually came back because I wanted to try their horchata cold brew since I'm more of a coffee guy than a frappe guy. I found my new favorite drink... the cold brew was bomb! Again, it is on the sweeter side so keep that in mind if you like your coffee strong - you won't get that from this drink but I was on vacation mode so I just enjoyed my sugar. Few days later, we introduced it to some friends. I recommended one of them to the horchata cold brew and they really enjoyed it too even though they usually don't drink much sweet coffee like that. Staff was friendly as well. Definitely coming back my next vacation. read more

Love it!!! I get the White chocolate cream with cold foam and no whip cream. I order it online so I don't know how great the service is all I know is they make my drink perfect every time. Looks like a great place to study when it's not super busy!! read more

As soon as you arrive you perceive you're in for a special treat. The service is really friendly. Everyone is really welcoming; questions are answered patiently and efficiently. I usually order an horchata latte. The taste is unparalleled. It just feels like you're actually drinking something made with really good ingredients and prepared with lots of detail. This little coffee place is my to go place when I'm around this part of the city. It usually has a lot of customers (which is a really good sign). It's a nice clean, cosy spot. 5/5 solid stars. read more

I love tierra Mia. Their authentic flavors is healing to the soul how ever their staff customer service could improve. My most recent visits didn't receive warm Greeting or welcoming which is a must especially for it being a coffee shop in my opinion. read more

I had been meaning to try this place for a couple years. Finally ended up in the area and had a difficult time finally choosing one thing to drink. The rice and beans frappe is my favorite drink now. The service was lovely. It wasn't too busy, so it was nice to sit and study for while. The music was at just the right volume to enjoy while reading. I cannot wait to go back and bring more friends read more
I keep hearing about this place and finally got to go. There were so many good coffee choices and I had to get 2! I loved both of what I got, anytime there's dulce de leche on the menu i definitely need to get it. They had some good baked options too and I got one of their muffins. I really wish it was closer to me because I would actually go again! If i'm in the area and not always busy on weekends i will definitely be back. I'm so picky when it comes to coffee and this is definitely on my top list. read more

How's the parking situation?
The parking for the coffee shop that I go to is next to a grocery store. There is plenty of parking.
Is it good for studying/working?
It can be if you don't mind the lack of "aesthetic." It's been a few months since I've been but the seating and environment seemed to give sitting and having a quick coffee or bite. Some customers need more, some less.
Why isn't there an iced option for the cafe con leche?
Do you guys have decaf frappes?
Rice & Beans? Would someone please explain this?
