Brought the whole family in here on a rainy Saturday morning. We didn't have time to go for breakfast so we stopped here for coffee and pastry. There were 8 of us, so we took up about a third of the seats in the place. Plus we had to buy take-out for a couple slugabeds who couldn't get moving in time to come with us. The interior is beautifully clean and airy. The pasties were neatly arranged in the case. The service is not as fast as St*bucks, but the people are super nice, and may I say better looking. Even though we had a rather large order, everyone got the right drinks. And everyone thought the drinks were fine. I actually thought my mocha was smoother and less bitter than what I'm used to getting. Our pastries were all warmed and delicious. I don't know the source of their pastries, but they don't appear to have a kitchen here. They must be brought in. Nonetheless, we had a very pleasant continental breakfast before heading back out into the rain. Oh, and I wondered what they had painted on the wall behind the counter. There is a gentlemen who had his shoulder length hair down. He was also constantly brushing his hair away from his face. Lastly, I ordered a tres leches muffin. The muffin never disappoints. This is bomb.com coffee. I get the horchata cold brew 8/10. It's a little sweet but does come with cold forma and a bunch of cinnamon I think on top. I've tried the horchata latte that's good. Even milkier in my opinion 7/10. And the strawberry matcha is pretty good 8/10. The only downfall to this place is it seems dusty/dirty. They have a weird accent tilted wall and that is FULL of dust. Imagine how much is landing onto our coffees. Staff for the most part is friendly. It's always busy/full. Their online website doesn't have any horchata drinks so we always have to come in and spend 30-45 mins waiting. read more

I came in person the day before to place an order for a chocolate Movil box, gave all my information, and was told it would be ready for pickup. When I returned today, they couldn't find my order at all and said they had no record of it. So even placing the order in person ahead of time ended up being completely useless. I have been in the OC area to visit my girlfriend. One day, she suggested we go here since she hasn't had their drinks in over 6 years. I didn't expect much but I was blown away. Like someone has mentioned, parking in this area is easy but there are a lot of speed bumps. When I entered the cafe, it wasn't too busy and had very simple decor. White walls with minimalistic decor, menu on counter and also posted where the line is. My only issue is their menu is so tiny that you either need to take a picture on your phone to look if there's others, or you need to get up close which would be blocking the line. Good thing it wasn't a big issue as it wasn't too busy. We came at a good time because they started to get a lot of people coming in quickly. My first visit, we got the horchata frappe and pumpkin spice frappe since the pumpkin was a seasonal item I believe. Order came out in little under 10 mins but it was worth the wait. I tried both and wow, they were both really good. I do have to give the edge to the Horchata one but that's no surprise since I believe they're known for their horchata drinks. Both could be a tad sweet, just a heads up to those who don't have much of a sweet tooth. Not sure if the sweetness is customizable but I don't see why not. The next day, we actually came back because I wanted to try their horchata cold brew since I'm more of a coffee guy than a frappe guy. I found my new favorite drink... the cold brew was bomb! Again, it is on the sweeter side so keep that in mind if you like your coffee strong - you won't get that from this drink but I was on vacation mode so I just enjoyed my sugar. Few days later, we introduced it to some friends. I recommended one of them to the horchata cold brew and they really enjoyed it too even though they usually don't drink much sweet coffee like that. I love the taste of cinnamon and I can adjust it to not be too sweet. The cashier recommended the tres leche muffin so I was able to try it this time. And omg was the muffin to die for! It was so moist and soft. I really enjoyed the warmed and moist muffin. Theres plenty of parking although the coffee shop was a bit small with limited indoor seating. I ordered a warm matcha latte, a regular croissant, the Dulce almond croissant, a choco tres leches muffin and the strawberry tres leches muffin. Overall, I thought the food and drinks were okay. The matcha latte was standard, I liked how I can actually taste the matcha and it wasn't overpowered by the milk or sweetener. The regular croissant tastes a little soapy to me - I think they're comparable to the one you can get at Costco. The muffins were extremely sweet and decadent. You definitely have to share them and wash it down with water. I'm pleased at the uniqueness of the pastry but wouldn't get them again. I enjoyed the dulce almond croissant the most. The almond paste inside is typical but enhanced by the Dulce flavoring. I wish they offered to warm up the pastries, I think that would've elevated them. I wanted to express my disappointment regarding my recent experience with a mobile order at your establishment. Despite placing my order in advance to avoid delays, I found that it was not ready upon my arrival which was about 10-15 minutes after order being placed! I inquired about the status of my order and was informed that it would take another 20 minutes. I asked for my order to be canceled and requested a refund. Your employee at no point apologized for the inconvenience, she could have cared less. Unfortunately, I was unable to get a name. This lack of efficiency, combined with the absence of an apology from the staff, was quite frustrating. Additionally, I noticed that mobile orders were not being prioritized and just being placed taped on a wall, as walk-in orders were being fulfilled first. I believe that improvements in your order management system and staffing during peak hours could enhance customer satisfaction. Thank you for considering my feedback. I have been going to this Tierra Mia for years! It's located in Superior Grocers shopping center, so there's tons of parking. The restroom is located right next to the cafe, a key is necessary. Every single time I've come to Tierra Mia, and at all their locations as well, I have always received awesome customer service. It's obvious they are customer-oriented and will do anything to appease their customers. They also make very delicious coffees. My two go-to coffees at Tierra Mia is Cafecito Cubano con Leche and the Caramel Macchiato. And every single time I drink it, it is so satisfying!!! The drinks are not overwhelmingly bitter nor are they sweet. It's a perfect combination of goodness! The tres leches muffin is also my fave here! I love everything tres leches, and Tierra Mia has it just right! I specifically like this Tierra Mia location because the cafe sits at the corner with a very unique shape. I love the high ceilings and I love how they didn't leave it plain but rather decorated with photos to capture the essence of Tierra Mia.
