My sister has been raving about this place for a while, so I finally gave it a try over the weekend. It was pretty busy when I walked in, but given its popularity, that wasn't a surprise. I ordered an avocado toast and a pumpkin spice latte with almond milk. The toast was surprisingly good--you'd be shocked by how many places mess up something so simple. The PSL was decent too: nothing mind-blowing, but solid. I managed to snag a table and get some work done, which is always a plus. Such a cute coffee spot! I got the snickerdoodle latte with oat milk, and my friends tried the banana matcha. I actually liked the banana flavor, it tasted like fresh banana instead of that artificial banana flavor you sometimes find. My snickerdoodle latte was good, but the snickerdoodle flavor was pretty faint. It was around $9 for a large with oat milk, which felt a little pricey. The espresso itself was really good though, so I still enjoyed it. The staff was super kind and helpful with recommendations, and the inside is really cute, colorful and vibrant. I really wanted to give this place more stars because the coffee and food are genuinely good, and I'm a frequent customer -- I come here about five to six times a week. Unfortunately, after several weeks of inconsistent service and repeated order issues, I can only give it three stars. The biggest problem is the ordering process. The drive-thru speaker setup makes it difficult for employees to hear customers, which leads to having to repeat orders, incorrect drinks, remakes, and longer wait times. The line also seems to move much better when employees are outside taking orders, so I think having staff outside more consistently during busy times would help a lot. The ordering system also feels backwards. Customers are asked for their name first, which is often entered incorrectly, and only sometimes asked for their rewards number later. Asking for the rewards number first could make the process easier for both customers and employees. My last several visits have included wrong drinks, wrong sizes, and repeated mistakes. It would also help if employees checked the ticket or repeated the order back before handing it out. I really do enjoy the coffee and would like to keep coming here, but the inconsistency and frustration are starting to outweigh how much I enjoy it. read more

My coworker was going to make a run to Better Buzz and I was excited to try it. I joined their rewards program through the App and placed my order. My coworker said that the employees were so nice and the place had a cool vibe. I ordered the Banana Matcha and absolutely loved it! The coffee queen was quite happy with her Extra Hot Oat Milk Latte with an extra shot. The menu here is extensive and I just wasn't in the mood to explore it. The staff here are very nice and helpful. My latte was ready quickly and it was nice and hot. The espresso flavor was perfect for this queen and I enjoyed every sip. Decided to stop in to do some work on the patio because it's a beautiful day in Vegas and perfect patio weather! I've gone through the drive through but this was the first time coming in. The outside is really nice with a pretty large patio with umbrellas. Inside it's also super cute. Almost every table was taken inside so definitely a popular spot. They had a lot more than just coffee and pastries here. I was surprised they had some other menu items like toasts and smoothies and breakfast burritos and things like that! Definitely a lot more food than I was thinking. Shiloh helped me out when I was here and she was so nice. She told me to take my time while looking at the menu and even said I could sit down with the menu to look it over. I decided on the strawberry rose lemonade and even though they had so many good breakfast options, I went with the chocolate croissant. Old faithful for me haha. It just sounded good. Trying to stay away from coffee right now but all their coffees looked delicious! The strawberry rose lemonade was perfect for this patio workday. It's DELICIOUS! Super refreshing. I was pleasantly surprised. They warmed up the chocolate croissant for me and it was really tasty, too! Definitely will come back here to work on this patio again. I love that the music is also playing outside and that they have umbrellas for shade, too. The waffle was actually way better than i could have expected. The staff member that helped me was cheerful and his customer service was above and beyond. I really enjoyed the dedication to the theme. Honestly, in every direction was Buzz. I hear by nominate Buzz as an adjective. This coffee shop- which I'm am delighted to have basically found by mistakes AND accidents, was absolutely worth the time. I really want to tip my hat and extend my thanks to the staff member that was super friendly and even gave me a sample. My Oreo coffee drink is EXACTLY what i needed after that gym session. They were burnt burnt and the bottoms were black. The employees are super nice and my drink is always made well The only downside and this is totally not on the employees as I am sure it's required but the amount of upsell attempts feels excessive. One time I counted 4 upsell attempts on my single drink order. The only other downside is who installed their drive through speakers down by the tires area of the cars going through. Super balanced, not overly sweet, and you could actually taste the flavors instead of just sugar. One of my favorites! I always feel welcomed at this location and have drinks out in a timely manner. The coffee flavors are on the sweeter side, so consider doing 3/4 which is what I tend to gravitate towards. There's tons of options for different preferences. The interior is bright with windows during the day and good but not blinding lights at night. There are plenty of seating options for it being a smaller space. If you're looking to study, they have outlets along the couch area and fairly good wifi as well. Short review this time. I got the Horchata Latte, wife got the Banana Pudding one and avo toast. She liked the avo toast more than Broken Yolk's next door. More seasoning and garnish, same size but no egg (add for a dollar), and half the price. I enjoyed mine. I ordered it as-is, no edits. It was good, the seasoning was spot on, you could taste (and feel) the cinnamon and the sweetened rice milk (don't ask me, I just drink here) was good. Sweet, but not cloying, though I did have to drink it slower than a bitter coffee. Hers did taste like banana pudding and she enjoyed it. Prices comparable, if not slightly cheaper, than places like Dutch Bro's (mine was 6.99 as-is, I think DB is 7-8 bucks for the same). I'd go back. Online ordering was simple and it was ready exactly when expected. I just wish they had better locations for us. Probably won't be driving 20+ mins for coffee, like...ever. But if we're there for something else, I would be fine with stopping. Apparently a closer one is coming to our area, but Lake Meade/Water Street, so the traffic won't be worth it. read more

Ok so I had to try the coffee here because I kept hearing that it is so good. I tried the horchata latte and added protein in it and for me, it's just ok. Such a fun and trendy spot, especially if you're looking for something a little different than your usual coffee stop. Better Buzz can definitely get really busy, but the service here was great and moved pretty efficiently considering how popular it is. We tried the orange matcha lattes and the feta avocado toast. Overall, everything was good and well made. The matcha was smooth and not overly sweet, though we did wish the orange flavor came through a bit more. The avocado toast was solid, nicely balanced with the feta, and a good option if you want something light but filling. It can feel hectic during peak times, but that's kind of expected here. While I appreciate the creativity behind the idea, the promotion itself felt a bit impractical--requiring a banana costume for a free drink made it less accessible than it could have been. A simpler promotion might encourage more people to try their spring offerings. That said, the banana cream foam was absolutely delicious and a highlight of the drink. The matcha itself, however, wasn't my favorite. It seemed like the powder had settled at the bottom, so the drink wasn't fully mixed. I think it would have been much better if it had been properly stirred or blended with the cream foam. If I return, I would likely request that adjustment. This cute coffee place nestled conveniently along st rose parkway/ Maryland parkway is you easy go to if you want to grab your fave coffee or wanted to just tey a new flavor. Im a matcha lover. It my first tine ordering matcha so my hope that its as food as the other drinks I've tried here. Ive had white mocha latte and vanilla bean (not pictured) here before. They made my order fast and the baristas are friendly. That large size is huge. My matcha with lavender foam was good eclxxept it has that powdery aftertaste. Not so sure how they mix thier matcha but it felt like it needed more mixing to get that smooth texture taste. This review is specific to my last visit. The interior was cleaner! But for having such a good menu and such amazing drinks I wish I wanted to stay and sit in here. It's just not comfy or inviting the way you want a good coffee shop to be. Definitely feels more like an order and go type of place. So if you want the cozy, come in and chill coffee shop vibe this is not the place for you. The service this visit was also a little lackluster. They gave me the wrong açaí bowl, and then forgot to make the toast that we ordered until I reminded them 15 mins later. They then gave me the correct açaí bowl. With that being said. First time here, close by, enjoyed it. I ordered "the best drink ever'" half caf iced with vanilla cold foam 1/4 sweet I don't like overly sweet and it was just right. I ordered for pick up also had the turkey pesto sandwich. Both items were good, I'm excited to try the rest of the menu. My order was waiting for me in the pick up area, I wish I asked for a bag cause I had my hands full with the sandwich container trying not to let it fall going to my apartment up stairs etc. Sandwich seemed fresh, could of been a little more toasted but they do have an option to order heavy or lightly toasted, next time I'll check heavy toasted because this one was light I assume that's the way they generally do it looking at other reviews. I first tried Better Buzz Coffee in San Diego some years ago and I'm glad that there's two locations in Vegas now. It is a coffee chain, but one that isn't so saturated and on every corner. It also shares some characteristics that aligns itself with the third wave coffee movement, like their sustainability practices and their effort to source fair trade and rainforest alliance coffees. So I'd place it somewhere in the middle -- not so mainstream, but not too pretentious either. Their main drink is called "best drink ever" (okay, maybe a little pretentious, lol.) which is an americano with their signature vanilla. I've found that they use this as their staple for their seasonal drink offerings. For the summer I've tried their COCONUT BEST DRINK EVER along with their RASPBERRY BEST DRINK EVER. Both came topped with cold cream with their respective flavors. I tend to opt for LESS SWEET, which ends up being just right for me. The only food I've tried is their AVOCADO TOAST. I like that it's a little more elevated than other chains. Sometimes they'll offer limited time specials, too. I've tried their ELOTE AVOCADO TOAST, which was stacked. So good. This location features both indoor and outdoor seating, along with a drive-thru. Service is friendly, and also helpful when asking for modifications and suggestions. I got one of their seasonal drinks, which was they vanilla protein coconut latte, and added extra two shots in there. I like that through the app you can customize pretty much everything you need when it comes out to milk, ice, and extra add-ons. The quality of the espresso is super smooth and pairs well with the flavoring of the drinks. I wish that there are closer locations to Central Las Vegas, rather than having to drive to Henderson or north for a better buzz craving. read more

The only reason I'm not giving this a four or five star review is because of the service I've been having recently and others I know that go here almost every day. The place has great coffee for my opinion in taste and flavors. I myself come here at least four times a week, and still go even though of the mess-ups or long waits. The main thing that's changed for me and irritates my self and others I've heard by asking the crew is. - Asking us for our names that half the time are not correct on the ticket stickers attached to our coffees. Not only do they get it wrong , but also makes the process of ordering take longer and holds up the line for everybody. Going back to just taking our number for the reward process would automatically give them our name -that already exists in the system. That would take away a step in asking all those questions , gives them the right name on the ticket ,and maybe pulls up an existing order you've had with them before. Next one is probably the up selling on food first. - Up selling is a great! and totally understand it. My opinion is that they should leave it up to the customer to self order something instead of leading with it . This would take another step away of holding people up and just over all makes the process a lot faster. Everything on the menu looks great, and would order it all lol. I would just like to get what I came for and be on my way. The last one is to just listen careful to the order on how it is worded. - When wording the item I/they want to order, to not confuse it with something else you already have on the menu. - For example if I were to order a latte with whatever flavor/sugar free flavor I pick, I don't want something else you already have on the menu. Over all the place is great ! Drinks for the most part are consistent, but can be off when people are new. Ambiance is great for sitting down , in and outside, and food is great as well. It seems like the employees are more worried about rushing to get you out of line rather than actually listening to your order correctly.
