Been dying to try this place & I finally did yesterday morning. Took a nice bike ride to the coffee shop & my wife met up with me soon after I arrived. The place was easy to find with plenty of parking & seating both inside, & outside. Wish they had a bike rack to lock up my bike, but it worked out. The inside is super cute & cozy. Definitely a place I could chill while sipping on coffee. I ordered the Horchata iced latte, my wife ordered the Mazapan latte, & I had the almond croissant. The coffees were delicious. I took a star off because: A) when I first entered the shop, I wasn't greeted, no good morning, how are you, been here before?, let me know if you have any questions, etc. The second woman that helped us when my wife got there was friendly, but the first woman was not. B) the croissant wasn't good. They had asked if I wanted it warmed, which I should've said yes, because after biting into it, it was stale, tasted like it's been sitting out for awhile, dry. Etc. My husband and I decided to try this coffee shop on our way home, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the moment we walked in. No one greeted us with a "Good morning" or "Welcome," which made us feel overlooked. We ordered two drinks and the Mexico Toast. Our coffee and chai tea came out fairly quickly, and both were good. However, after waiting about 10 minutes for our toast without any updates, we had to ask about it ourselves. The employee with curly hair never checked in or apologized for the delay. We ended up waiting another 15 minutes before the toast finally arrived by then, we had already finished our drinks. The Mexico Toast itself was underwhelming. There was barely any avocado, and it didn't feel worth the wait. While we were waiting, two women and a child came in to give the coffee shop a try. They also weren't greeted or acknowledged not even with a quick "We'll be with you in a minute." After waiting around five minutes without anyone speaking to them, they left. This place has potential, but the customer service needs significant improvement. Greeting customers, communicating about delays, multitasking, and making guests feel valued are all essential. Was excited to try this place, and finally got to since we attended an event but customer service was bad. Cashier was very irritated by all the other guests who were coming in to use their bathroom. While trying to give my order, he wasn't attentive then gave attitude about my order. When my daughter tried the matcha, she barely could drink the rest. Good menu with lots of solid options. The avocado toast was good and nicely done. That said, Sunday morning felt a bit understaffed. It looked like only two people were working -- one up front and one in the back -- and you could feel it. Both of our coffees came out less than hot, and mine was much sweeter than expected. Stopped by on my way out of Vegas. Got a large hot latte and opted for the honey vanilla which was very good 5/5. Would definitely get again! Also got a grilled cheese which was pretty sad looking but more important the cooking/ non-stick spray that was used tasted yucky and maybe even rancid like it had expired. It had a bad taste and smell which my husband verified as well so do not recommend that. Should have got an avocado toast. read more

Their mazapan iced latte is absolutely incredible - perfectly sweet, creamy, and packed with that delicious peanutty mazapan flavor. It's easily one of the best iced lattes I've ever had, and definitely something I'll keep coming back for. On top of that, Alex made the visit even better. Cute coffee place at the Antique Mall of America parking lot. The decor and vibe is really cute. I was the only person in the coffee shop, so I took my time to decide what to order. The menu has a lot of delicious coffee and matcha drinks that are different from other places, so I couldn't decide on which one to get. I'll always opt for a local owned coffee shop, no matter where I am. Found this place on yelp and the reviews didn't look that bad. Inside kind of looks thrown together. The outside is one of the largest and emptiest centers I've seen. Service was fine, warm and friendly. Ordered an iced vanilla latte and a honey matcha. We were heading out of town so we didn't take sips until we had already left. The matcha has large chunks of matcha powder at the bottom of the drink. The vanilla latte was not good, with a burnt coffee taste followed by artificial berry? I couldn't explain it if I tried. I hate to say it, but go to Starbucks. read more

Visited in a Saturday morning, shop was busy and customers were being super inpatient with the staff. We ordered and were warned it may take a moment as the party before us ordered a ton of drinks. We only waited about 10 minutes for our drinks which honestly wasn't bad. Our drinks were fantastic and our Interactions with the staff were great. Don't understand why the employees are irritated by simply having to do their job. Coffee was good but it took 35 minutes to get grilled cheese! I like the vibe in there a lot. It's very quiet but still relatively new to the neighborhood and is a short walk away from my condo. Service was good and pretty quick. The iced latte was quite delicious and is much better than some local competitors. The wrap I got was okay, and would be much better if; the Caesar dressing was better and less was used and the tortilla was warmed a little before assembling the wrap. Skimos is seriously some of the most underrated coffee in Vegas. I've been to the Henderson location quite a few times and was finally able to try out the new location. It was great to see a familiar face working there from the original location and they made my iced coffee perfectly tasting just like the way I normally enjoy it. I also got a blueberry muffin which was delicious and warm and you could actually tell that they use real blueberries versus a gel or jelly. The ambiance here is awesome with books to read as well as a chess board. It's definitely the kind of place you could hang out at or do some homework in or work in if needed. I highly advise. Trying out their seasonal specialties and I really wish they were continually carrying the pumpkin concha. read more

The one girl (short hair) was very nice and greeted my brother and I but the other girl kind of seemed like she didn't want us there, lol, oh no customers... haha Anyways, we ordered a blended raspberry Mocha w/oatmilk and a Honey Almond Latte w/oatmilk and both were delicious. My brother didn't like the cup size, like $17 and they were large but really like a Medium size cup. Probably go back but we usually go to the one on Sunset so maybe go there, who knows? We stopped by Skimo's for an afternoon pick-me-up. It's located in an unassuming strip mall off LV Blvd, so we weren't expecting much. But what a hidden gem! The employees were so kind and helpful. Not only that, they know their coffee well. We came to Skimo's to try their toasted coconut latte, and it was probably one of the best we've had in Vegas (which says a lot, because we're always trying new coffee shops). They also do lots to help out the Vegas community, so I recommend stopping by to find out more about their causes. All around, a 10/10! Stopped in on a whim this morning and wow this place really impressed me. The barista greeted us as we walked in. She was friendly and patient but not overtly chatty (which I prefer). I got a hot honey vanilla latte and it was very well made. I could taste the coffee, vanilla, and honey notes and the coffee didn't leave a bad aftertaste. The most impressive part was that my hot latte was immediately drinkable and didn't burn my tongue when I went for the first sip. The shop is medium sized with a variety of seating. From the reviews and a couple of Vegas foodie influencers video, I was excited and had very high expectations for this coffee shop. We went yesterday. As we walked in, there was no greeting or acknowledgment even though a couple of the women behind the counter made eye contact. I understand they were preparing previous orders. But at least say, we'll be with you in a few minutes. I don't think that's too much to expect. After all, it's customer service. Stood in line for several minutes, mind you, no customers were in front of us. After what seemed like 5 minutes, a worker came out to the register, looked at us, no smile just a blank stare and didn't say a word. Most workers would at least say, "are you ready to order or may I take your order?" We placed our orders and although the experience has be, I tipped anyways, in hopes the coffee would make up for it. I ordered a hot banana sweet cream latte. When I got my latte, they made it an iced latte. I checked my receipt to confirm that it was marked as a hot latte and sure enough it was. My daughter and her boyfriend ordered different flavored iced lattes, so maybe they just assumed it was three iced lattes. I did mention it to one of them and she was going to make a hot one and very apologetic but I'm a considerate guy and didn't want the iced latte wasted. I figured maybe it's better iced than hot. The taste was not even remotely close to banana. It tastes like a regular sweet cream iced latte. Needless to say, a very, very disappointing overall experience. Cute little shop! Grabbed some stuff here before I drove back to Cali. I got the Punpkin Pie latte and the Nutella Strawberry Banana toast. Both were very delicious! I believe their name was Marco or Marcos, but they were very welcoming and asked if I had any questions! Always had nice energy and a smile on their face.
