I genuinely don't understand the positive reviews for this place. I gave it multiple chances because I wanted to support a local coffee shop, but every visit was disappointing in one way or another. The café itself has a lot of potential. The interior has a nice, modern aesthetic, and it's easy to see what they were going for. It could be a really cute spot to relax, study, or meet with friends. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is overshadowed by the lack of customer service and overall professionalism. The customer service is one of the biggest issues. Most of the time, nobody even acknowledges you when you walk in. You're left standing at the counter waiting to order without so much as a "Hi" or "We'll be right with you." It makes the entire experience feel awkward and unprofessional. The wait times are also ridiculous. I've waited anywhere from 15-30 minutes just for food, even when the shop wasn't particularly busy. If you're stopping by on a lunch break or before work, don't expect to get in and out quickly. The food itself doesn't make the wait worth it. I ordered the avocado egg salad, and it was almost entirely egg salad with barely any avocado. For something that's advertised as avocado egg salad, it felt misleading and cheaply made. The drinks have also been inconsistent, so it's hard to know what you're getting from one visit to the next. Overall, this place has a great concept and a nice aesthetic, but it falls short where it matters most. Good ambiance can only go so far when the service is consistently lacking, the wait times are excessive, and the food doesn't live up to expectations. I honestly can't recommend it. This place was so cute, and the drinks are very yummy! We were greeted by a very nice lady who took our order. I got the banana cream matcha with oat milk, and it was the perfect amount of cream and sweetness. My boyfriend got the iced hazelnut mocha, and he absolutely loved it!! You can taste the espresso upfront and then the mocha chocolate hazelnut flavor in the backend, it was not watery at all and was perfect. Been dying to try this place & I finally did yesterday morning. Took a nice bike ride to the coffee shop & my wife met up with me soon after I arrived. The place was easy to find with plenty of parking & seating both inside, & outside. Wish they had a bike rack to lock up my bike, but it worked out. The inside is super cute & cozy. Such a cute cafe!! Huckleberry matcha was very yummy. Banana matcha was very banana forward for me, but my friend enjoyed it. They use real matcha, mixing with the wooden wisk. The matcha could use less milk, but still enjoyed every drop of it. Twix frappe was also enjoyable, but because they use real Twix candy it was a little gritty. Service was excellent. Stopped by on my way out of Vegas. Got a large hot latte and opted for the honey vanilla which was very good 5/5. Would definitely get again! Also got a grilled cheese which was pretty sad looking but more important the cooking/ non-stick spray that was used tasted yucky and maybe even rancid like it had expired. My husband and I decided to try this coffee shop on our way home, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the moment we walked in. No one greeted us with a "Good morning" or "Welcome," which made us feel overlooked. We ordered two drinks and the Mexico Toast. Our coffee and chai tea came out fairly quickly, and both were good. However, after waiting about 10 minutes for our toast without any updates, we had to ask about it ourselves. The employee with curly hair never checked in or apologized for the delay. We ended up waiting another 15 minutes before the toast finally arrived by then, we had already finished our drinks. The Mexico Toast itself was underwhelming. There was barely any avocado, and it didn't feel worth the wait. While we were waiting, two women and a child came in to give the coffee shop a try. They also weren't greeted or acknowledged not even with a quick "We'll be with you in a minute." After waiting around five minutes without anyone speaking to them, they left. This place has potential, but the customer service needs significant improvement. Greeting customers, communicating about delays, multitasking, and making guests feel valued are all essential. The outside is one of the largest and emptiest centers I've seen. Service was fine, warm and friendly. Ordered an iced vanilla latte and a honey matcha. We were heading out of town so we didn't take sips until we had already left. The matcha has large chunks of matcha powder at the bottom of the drink. Skimos is seriously some of the most underrated coffee in Vegas. I've been to the Henderson location quite a few times and was finally able to try out the new location. It was great to see a familiar face working there from the original location and they made my iced coffee perfectly tasting just like the way I normally enjoy it. I also got a blueberry muffin which was delicious and warm and you could actually tell that they use real blueberries versus a gel or jelly. The ambiance here is awesome with books to read as well as a chess board. It's definitely the kind of place you could hang out at or do some homework in or work in if needed. I highly advise. Stopped in on a whim this morning and wow this place really impressed me. The barista greeted us as we walked in. She was friendly and patient but not overtly chatty (which I prefer). I got a hot honey vanilla latte and it was very well made. I could taste the coffee, vanilla, and honey notes and the coffee didn't leave a bad aftertaste. From the reviews and a couple of Vegas foodie influencers video, I was excited and had very high expectations for this coffee shop. We went yesterday. As we walked in, there was no greeting or acknowledgment even though a couple of the women behind the counter made eye contact. I understand they were preparing previous orders. But at least say, we'll be with you in a few minutes. I don't think that's too much to expect. After all, it's customer service. Stood in line for several minutes, mind you, no customers were in front of us. After what seemed like 5 minutes, a worker came out to the register, looked at us, no smile just a blank stare and didn't say a word. Most workers would at least say, "are you ready to order or may I take your order?" We placed our orders and although the experience has be, I tipped anyways, in hopes the coffee would make up for it. I ordered a hot banana sweet cream latte. When I got my latte, they made it an iced latte. I checked my receipt to confirm that it was marked as a hot latte and sure enough it was. My daughter and her boyfriend ordered different flavored iced lattes, so maybe they just assumed it was three iced lattes. I did mention it to one of them and she was going to make a hot one and very apologetic but I'm a considerate guy and didn't want the iced latte wasted. I figured maybe it's better iced than hot. The taste was not even remotely close to banana. It tastes like a regular sweet cream iced latte. Needless to say, a very, very disappointing overall experience.
