It was a fruitless journey, so I finally decided the two hour drive north was worth a perfect full set. To my surprise, after three years the owner still remembered me and exactly how I liked my nails. And let me tell you, for the first time since 2009 I am extremely happy with how my nails turned out. He takes so much time to make sure that each nail turns out perfect. Plus I love that he offers solar nails which means instead of waiting for paint or gel to dry, he does a a buff, and the nails stay shiny longer. It's more expensive, but it's worth it. Even after three weeks, he made sure my fill looked perfect. I don't think the PNW has a place better and I will continue to drive two hours on Saturday's to come here

Look, I understand "busy", but I almost never had one person do my whole "fill"...last time it was 4 different people...for a fill! Like they'd do a bit, and then TAG someone in. Also, the guy who worked on my nails the most at that place (not M&T, I'm still talking about my former salon) is depressing. I feel bad, he's got personal issues going on, but holy mother of...I left needing a drink most days. I don't want to feel sad when I am able to splurge and get my nails done. Wow, now I sound like a jerk. Probably because I am a jerk. But I digress... ANYHOO...decided to give M&T Nails a chance, and I'm so glad I did. I didn't make an appointment as it was sort of an impulse stop - i.e. I looked down and went WOW, MY NAILS LOOK AWFUL, I MUST REMEDY THIS IMMEDIATELY. But, even without an appointment, the employees at M&T were able to get me in right away for a pedicure and then a fill - and they did a GREAT job. My nails look great! The three ladies I spoke with - the one who did my pedicure, another who did my fill, and the third who was doing someone's nails right next to me - were all delightful. There was also some dude there and he was probably the one that another reviewer said was high. Whatever. He didn't do my nails. Toke up, little buddy. I don't care. :)~ Also...did I mention...THERE'S A PUG DOG THERE? THEY HAVE A DOGGO IN THE SALON AND HE'S GLORIOUS. I like the products they use and the salon is nice and bright. I wish they had the re-booking discount when you're paying your bill, but maybe that will come. To me that ensures a repeat customer. But after hearing it had been 10 years since I last had any work done. They did their best to make sure that I would be taken care of. 10/10 experience. Not only did it feel like home. But the ladies there were all so kind. I will definitely be making the hour drive to come back.

Timely and effective communication when looking to book for a pedicure…read more Booked via yelp for a 1pm appointment for the next day- Showed up a little early and they were graciously able to get me started earlier, very clean and friendly tho did seem a little visibly disappointed when I declined a manicure even tho I was asking for the most expensive pedicure- my tech took their time, was very thorough and loved that they don't use the cheese grater on my feet! It's a solid place to get a good pedicure , one tip I would give to the establishment is to be mindful of how your techs react when a customer declines a service.

She wasn't warm or friendly, but she did a good job. The owner, Nancy did my nails and got a new set. I'm not in love with the shape and wasn't exactly what I asked for, but next time I'm sure we'll get it just right. She was nice and liked her. I booked my next appointment and hope this will be my new nail place!
