When I ask his staff a question and they don't know the answer, they are always honest and polite and will tell you they don't know and will proceed to place you on a brief hold so they can get the correct information. The staff has a good attitude and assume that you are a caring owner. When Dr. Siegal says he'll call you or do anything, he always holds his word and he even called us when he was out of town. The facility is extremely clean, the cleanest vet I've ever been to. There are so many reasons why you should consider Dr. Siegal and his team, these are just a few. Plenty of parking in their private shared lot and street parking. Very cute stores, restaurants, and fitness yoga studios nearby so if you are coming from further away and need to leave your pet for a few hours you can totally patronize some of the other local businesses. Overall 10/10 experience. I'm glad we took a chance on this vet. To be fair we had exhausted many of the other highly rated vets in the San Fernando valley area and none of them cut it. Are you paying a little more to see the doctor here and get the tests and other services? Yes, probably a little more. However, for me personally, it's completely justified because of the integrity and seamless experiences we've had. Lastly, every single time we have gone in for our appointment, we haven't had to wait longer than 5 minutes. Also they are always giving you a warm greeting which I literally cannot say about any of the other vets. Last little detail, but really there's no detail too small, I have not seen any of the staff doom scroll or look checked out. When they are on the clock, they appear to be working and they seem dedicated. Little things like that have a major impact on professionalism and trust. If I see anyone on the clock doom scrolling or just super engaged on their cell phone it is 100% a red flag and a sign that they don't care, aka my sign to leave a business and not return. I want to spend my hard earned money on places that are invested and care. Dr. Siegal and his staff seem happy and I believe a happy staff is a more efficient staff. It is a safe space, you can openly share your concerns, wants and needs- they are listening with open hearts and they genuinely care. Sadly I've been to probably more than eight different vets and none of them have even come close to Dr. Siegal. Because of those awful experiences, I was starting to lose hope. But I knew from our first phone call with Dr. Siegal's office, when I was literally picking their brain and asking 20+ questions and complaining about past experiences, I knew they were the one because they never made me feel rushed, I never felt judged, I never felt unappreciated and I felt they were truly listening and caring. That is not what this is about. I have three Golden Retrievers and have had many dogs over the years. I understand that dogs age, become ill, and develop serious medical problems. That is a painful but inevitable part of loving them. I do not blame a veterinarian because my dog is sick. My concern is the care Emma received when I brought her in because she was sick and in pain. I brought her in twice for an unexplained limp and expressed that I believed something was wrong. No X-rays were taken. Imaging performed elsewhere later showed severe destruction of the ulna near her elbow and significant risk of fracture. I also raised concerns about persistent skin inflammation, recurring ear problems, and irritation around her mouth. These issues improved rapidly after she received different treatment from another veterinarian. These are specific concerns about clinical decisions, not expressions of sadness about having an older dog. Saying that you understand how upsetting it is when a beloved companion has serious medical issues does not address them. I also find it difficult to reconcile the statement that the practice would "welcome the opportunity to discuss" my concerns directly with the fact that no one contacted me after my review was posted. Weeks passed, and this public response was the first outreach I received. If anything in my review is factually inaccurate, please identify it. I would also welcome an explanation of how the specific care decisions I described were consistent with the "thoughtful, evidence-based medicine" referenced in your response. Emma being sick is not the complaint. The complaint is what happened when I repeatedly brought a sick and painful dog to this practice for help. One thing that deeply stood out was Dr. Kumar's use of Reiki techniques alongside the traditional medications. It added an extra layer of calm and intention to the experience, and you could truly feel the care and presence he brought to Griffin in those final moments. Dr. Kumar's holistic, thoughtful approach and Zaneta's warmth and presence made an unimaginable situation feel just a little more bearable. I had high hopes thinking the $100 drive out fee would be well worth the speed and convenience a…read moremobile vet van could provide (on top of a $80 vet visit fee). Sadly, both the Vet and the tech were not speedy, not convenient, and I have no clue why they have a mobile van if they don't provide their services to clients in the actual van which is nuts to me. Quick summary: I HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND. They are EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE (way over market and normal vets), you will be pay at least $100 + $80 for them to just see your dog, and if your dog literally needs actual medical services besides the normal routine wellness needs then they don't have the capability to help you but likely will still provide medical care to take your money but according to the vet tech "you must still pay the $180". Heads up: $5 per pill for Clavaillin is price gouging at $150 30 pills. Pet smart & Chewy has it for $2.79 with a total of $83.7 I would have saved $67 using chewy! Cytopoint injections for large breeds need two shots and at my vet they total $147.50 and I was charged $189 so a delta of 32.50 Another reason: they didn't have a simple antibiotic my dog needed and I mentioned to please send to chewy and the vet tech LITERALLY went off on how she refuses to send prescriptions to chewy due to a personal issue (I honestly stopped listening because she was going in a diatribe about a company I love). When I told her unfortunately I have never had an issue with chewy and since she is not the vet and does not write the script I am going to have to request the vet send it there (she was telling me who I can't do business with in my house). At this point and hour In and no help to my dog as the vet tech won't stop talking. Finally after some encouragement from me to the vet I just asked for some allergy shots as I wanted them to get out of my house. They wanted to clean the wound and asked to use MY PRODUCTS to do so. I ended up being scammed out of $500+ for a literal shot and an antibiotic because within 3 day that wound opened and pus was every were and I had to take her to the ER for another $500+. They have paperwork that says if they feel they can't treat your dog then they will refer you to an outside doctor, I wish they had done that, because if they did I wouldn't have been scammed out of $500.

Unlike our previous experience where we were able to book ahead of time and plan for our pup's passing, this was a circumstance where our baby needed immediate services -- his body was failing. Once I saw our senior 13-yr old pup was telling me it was okay, I called Dr. Gonzalez at 7pm. She was at our home by 10pm. Our pup had been sick for several years, and in that last week, our primary vet had already told us his health was declining, so we at least knew the end was near. And I had already mentally prepared to be strong and let him go when he needed to -- so I had Dr. Gonzalez's number on hand. We live in an apartment building, so we reserved a spot for her in our lot as close as possible to an exit. She came upstairs to our home, and she had brought all her equipment. I had already imagined how I wanted this experience to go for my once in a lifetime soul pup. I sat on his favorite place on the sofa, and I had him in my lap. Dr. Gonzalez gave me a pee pad to wrap around him within the blanket understanding there could be an accident in the process as his body released his spirit. I had a candle lit. I had soft music playing. We had low lighting on to honor what was about to happen. Dr. Gonzalez was also super accommodating to our 2nd puppy who was curious about her and wondering what was happening to his big brother. She didn't shoo him away -- she invited us to keep the puppy around so he can know his big brother was about to pass on. She gave us time to speak to Nuxx, love on him, and then let him go. Then, it finally happened. And Dr. Gonzalez stepped out of our apartment for awhile, giving our little family time to grieve, sob, and hold our baby close. Our puppy sniffed him too and said his goodbyes. Then she came back, and she asked us if we wanted to be the ones to carry him out or she was happy to do so. My husband carried him, myself and our puppy followed along -- felt like a procession down our apartment hallway. We got to Dr. Gonzalez's car, and we gently placed our baby's body in her car, and said our goodbyes again. Then...it was done. Throughout the experience, Dr. Gonzalez was so incredibly supportive, gentle, understanding, and patient. What else can you ask for when such a heartbreaking thing is occurring? When a spirit is literally fading in your arms? I am still not over losing him, but at least I know we gave him the most peaceful send-off we could: in his own home, in our arms, surrounded by so much love. If / when we need to go through again, I will continue to call on Dr. Gonzalez. RIP Nuxx.

I brought my sweet Bear in after 12 beautiful years together, knowing that it was time to help him peacefully transition after his health had declined. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly kind, gentle and nurturing. They understood the weight of what I was walking into and treated both Bear and me with so much tenderness. Dr. Wammock was absolutely incredible. From the moment she entered our private room, there was something so calming about her presence. She spoke softly, explained what was happening, and handled Bear with such gentleness and dignity. Every single thing she did felt intentional and compassionate. When she administered his sedative, she was incredibly tender with him, knowing how much discomfort and distress he had already experienced. She then gave us uninterrupted time to hold him, cuddle him, love on him and say our goodbyes before the final injection. When that moment came, she was just as careful. She even covered Bear so that our final memory of him would not be watching him receive a needle. That small gesture meant more to me than I can adequately put into words. Dr. Scott was also phenomenal and showed our family so much compassion throughout the experience. I will forever be grateful to both of them for the dignity, patience and love they showed Bear in his final moments. Of course, saying goodbye to him was heartbreaking. But somehow, in the middle of all that sadness, Honor Pet created an experience that was also incredibly peaceful and filled with love. I walked away devastated that my baby was gone, but also calm and reassured that I had made the right decision for him and chosen the right people to help me through it. Bear was loved beyond words, and knowing that he was treated with that same level of tenderness at the very end means everything to me. He is now in their care while I wait for his ashes to come home, and I feel completely at peace knowing that he is in good hands.
