Our family dog Brandi was getting progressively sicker due to old age, and we decided that it was finally time to send her to heaven a couple weeks ago after she had a particularly rough night. We were fortunately able to schedule a same day in-home euthanasia appointment on a Saturday, and Dr. Chan came by within a few hours. Dr. Chan explained the whole process thoroughly before she started and answered any questions we had. It was super sad that we had to say goodbye to Brandi, but I'm glad that services like this exist so that you can send your pet to heaven at home in a comfortable and familiar setting. Dr. Chan was super professional and respectful from start to finish.

When we made the heartbreaking decision to put Bella down, Peaceful Paws came to our home and showed love to our girl. They asked about her and talked to her. They made her completely comfortable and brought her treats for her last moments. It was peaceful and quiet as Bella went over the rainbow. I am so grateful for the compassion they showed us during this hard loss- including hugs as they said their good-byes and took Bella with them.

Unfortunately our senior pup, who's lived over a year with a mass on his heart, experienced a sudden sharp decline in health, and we had to make the difficult decision to help him cross the rainbow bridge. Because of the discomfort he was in, how quickly it developed, and the limited options offered by urgent care, we decided that it would be kindest to euthanize him. We wanted a company that could do it in the comfort of our home, so he could spend his final moments in a familiar place surrounded by people who love him. Dr. Chan was gentle, informative, and didn't rush the process along. Our pup went peacefully as we all held him. Dr. Chan allowed for me to bring my cat out afterwards so that he would understand that our dear Ronnie was no longer with us. My cat was scared and didn't want to approach our deceased pup, and Dr. Chan explained that often cats understand what's happened, and can be more intuitive than some other animals. My only constructive feedback is that the answering service for the agency isn't the most warm, across the different agencies we contacted when we were trying to figure out which one we would use. They weren't rude, just kind of lukewarm. We ultimately chose this one because they were local, and offered a same day appointment for an increased cost, and we didn't want our pup to continue suffering. Overall, I would recommend Peaceful Paws if you're having to make this difficult decision for beloved pet.

We wanted in-home euthanasia for our beloved cat Yuzu. We found Peaceful Paws here on Yelp. We appreciated Dr. Chan's professionalism and demeanor. I meant to write a positive review here for Dr. Chan. 9 months later, we just needed another euthanasia for Anneka. Once again, we contacted Peaceful Paws. Highly recommend.

I am forever grateful to Dr Chan for working us in her schedule at the last minute. Our beautiful GS, Bentley, could no longer get up on his own. Dr Chan came to our house and was so kind. My sister wanted to be here and Dr Chan kindly waited for her arrival. The entire experience was so beautiful, yet so sad. We did it in our home, with my family and Dr Chan was so comforting and explained everything. I would highly recommend Dr Chan over any vet office. Thank you so much, Dr. Chan!

This is not my first review of our beloved Dr G, and I just recommended her to 6 more people again just these past 2 weeks. I always say to people I give her card to: "you will discover she is an Earth Angel - if she moved to a different town, I'd take my pup there... When you find a great vet, they are Gold! She's not only compassionate, present and knowledgeable, but also she does not oversell." Besides all the regular check ups, Dr G. has performed 2 substantial surgeries on my pup in the last 8 years, and has been extremely kind, providing valuable reassuring step-by-step updates throughout, especially aware that I had lost my beloved first dog, (with a different vet), when he did not make it through the anesthesia... In the 8 years Dr G. has been our one and only vet; everyone I have sent to Dr G. has fallen in love with her, and has thanked me for the referral. I trusted Dr G and her small compassionate team with the euthanasia of my precious second dog, Handsome. She is truly an Angel on Earth. At her Chatsworth location, I love that she's created a lovingly cozy "home environment" for the euthanasia experience. That it so needed during that deeply emotional time, and more veterinary offices ought to follow her example. I found her many years ago when I was dissatisfied with a busy veterinary front desk in Sherman Oaks, after they had made errors in my first dog's chart. Unfortunately he passed, and I learned that finding the RIGHT professional truly makes ALL the difference. So yes, I drive from Sherman Oaks. Gratefully so :) I am thankful that my cherished pups are her patients. Her ethics, her care, her kindness, her knowledge, her integrity - she's our number 1!!!

Dr. Gonzalez was kind, patient, and thorough, taking the time to explain each step of the euthanasia process. She ensured our dog's maximum comfort throughout, even creating a makeshift pillow so he could rest peacefully. We were heartbroken, but her understanding and gentle approach gave us comfort while making the process completely painless and stress-free for our giant furbaby. She was available the same day and brought in a caring team afterward to respectfully and compassionately assist with our 132-pound dog. The thoughtfulness, professionalism, and empathy shown by Gemcore made an unbearable moment a little more bearable. We are deeply grateful and highly recommend them to anyone seeking a veterinary team that truly cares.

Dr. Shea was my guide in my time of need. When the final day came, Dr. Erica came to our home. She is this beautiful angel, with the most kind and gentle voice. She helped us walk our precious Stella over the Rainbow bridge in the beauty of silence, reverence, and peace, it was so beautiful. Dr. Erica sent us the most amazing sympathy card a few days later that touched my heart deeply. Honor Pet has not only been there throughout this difficult journey, but their kindness, compassion, professionalism and guidance have meant more to me and my family than they can ever know. Today, Stella is back home at her final resting place, where she belongs...they sent her home to us in this incredible Honor box which carried her remains, a mini glass bottle of her fur, a candle to burn if/when I need to feel her presence, a digital print of her beautiful little "chocolate chip nose" we all loved and adored, a package of Forget-Me-Not seeds to plant in her honor, and a letter conveying their deepest sympathy for our great loss. It was all so overwhelming and thoughtful. If anyone is faced with such a difficult decision as this, and you are like me, confused and doubting whether you're making the right end-of-life choice, I cannot recommend Honor Pet enough. I promise, you will be blessed and given the truth and confidence as to when that right time comes. Stella never suffered, because Dr. Shea went over her symptoms/behavior, but when she started showing signs that she was ready, I recognized them and knew. My Stella no longer is suffering... The devastation over losing a beloved pet cannot be fully described in words, other than this: "Grief is the Price we Pay to Love." I love you my sweet girl, wait for me.

She explained that my dog's ashes should be ready in 2 weeks. At 2 weeks, we called them for an update. They said there was a delay. We called them again at 3 weeks. Still not ready. We called again around 3.5 weeks and they said a few more days. At 4 weeks we received an email saying our boy was ready and we went to go pick him up. It was quite stressful calling in over those two weeks of delay to figure out if and when my dog's ashes would be ready. A proactive message from their side would've made the experience a lot better as we needed to keep calling in to figure out what was happening while also grieving. The box we received back was lovey with a candle, hair clippings, flower seeds, and urn. I do wish the digital nose print was more accurate in terms of the size. He's a small dog and the print is just a bit blown up to the size of a larger dog.. but nonetheless it was a nice box which included several things.

Saying goodbye to Ace was one of the hardest things we've ever had to do, and you and Sunnie made it as peaceful and loving as it could possibly be. The way you cared for him--and for all of us--meant more than I can put into words. You took the time to talk with us and our kids. You explained everything in a way that made sense and bought calm. You made our children feel safe and supported no matter what they were feeling. That meant everything to us. You gave us space and time to say goodbye to our good boy in a way that was meaningful and kind. And the little touches... the blanket under his head, the pets and love you gave, the fur you kept and boxed for our children, the invitation for our kids to write a letter that will be with him forever, the calm and warmth you created--it didn't feel clinical, it felt like family. You gave us a moment we'll always be grateful for in the middle of so much heartbreak. Thank you for the love, compassion, and dignity you gave Ace and our whole family today. She seemed annoyed and in a hurry. She was late, so maybe she was in a hurry, so she wouldn't be late to the next appointment. If you're looking for a vet to come and be a vet and administer medications, you may be a good fit. If you're looking for a more compassionate experience, you may not be. One thing I had a major problem with was her decision to administer an oral sedative. I watched the video on her website to know what to expect. My experience was not like that video. I didn't even know an oral sedative was an option. She said she was going to inspect the patient to see what type would be best. I told her not oral. He hated oral medications. I didn't want his last moment to be forced to do something he hates. She insisted because supposedly the injection would cause pain. I should have insisted. Because my poor boy was so weak, he was out as soon as she administered the medication. His last moment was her forcing that nasty medication into his mouth, and then he was just... gone. I thought I would at least have a minute or two while the sedative was talking effect, to say goodbye. But, no. I obviously have no proof, but I felt like she did that because the oral would take effect quicker than the injection. I had a feeling the night before and morning of that I should cancel and look for someone else to come later that day, or the next day. I should have followed my gut. I wish I paid her $450 to cancel on the spot, as soon as I felt the energy was off. One reason I chose her is because I like the crematorium she partners with, and what they offer. However, when I called them, they said her pick ups are Tuesday and Friday. So, my cat being euthanized on a Tuesday would be sitting in her morgue until Friday, when they pick him up. Then, I would be able to do a viewing and "next day" cremation Monday. I couldn't bare the thought of my boy laying in a morgue all week. I opted to take him in myself. The second she told me she had a body bag for him, that she would carry him out in, I knew my decision was the right one. I took him myself that day, had a viewing for him the next day, and paid for same day cremation. Also, one reason I chose her was because of the clay paw print. But, I think it looks terrible. I am glad I opted for in home euthanasia. I would personally not use Dr Watson again. However, she may be a good fit for you
