    Stuffed French toast
    Kris M.

We came here for a Friday morning breakfast and it was a great deal for the amount of food we ordered. My son ordered the stuffed French toast and ate every bite! The service was fast, friendly, and the restaurant was busy but a cozy, quiet spot. We would definitely be back to try all of the Benedict's!

Very friendly people, ordered a burger with fries. If you're looking for a good juicy burger, you won't be disappointed. Nothing fancy about the atmosphere here, but the food was great. Yes I recommend it.

Ham and cheese omelette no fries no toast, which are supposed to be there

I come in because I received the wrong omelette. I give them back my old one and I get back an omelette with no home fries no toast the plate I gave them back had my toast and fries on it. The one that they gave me has just an omelette.

Food was delicious. Terri (sp?), our server, was attentive, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant had a very comfortable feel to it and was quite clean.

Wonderful breakfast place that brings you back years the minute you walk in. From the old counter and "vintage" license plates and bumps stickers this place screams "the good ole days" The local ads on the table tops made me smile knowing that I was in for a delicious breakfast . The cooks did not disappoint, the hash and the eggs were delicious the Texas toast was perfectly buttered and toasted and the service was second to none. The character of this place alone makes it worth stopping in, it just so happens that they make a mean breakfast. Our server was attentive and polite.... Next time we are in the area we will be going back. Every time we are close to the area we will be going back

Big Southern Breakfast. I will be needing a box.

Good home style food with good service. Feels bigger on the inside. The pancakes were perfect, but nothing beat the gravy, chicken fried steak and homemade biscuits.

    Specials menu.

Great food and service a definite must eat at. The hollandaise sauce is thick and delicious as was the sausage gravy. My wife had the breakfast wrap wich was great also. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Tater tot Benedict and triple 2

Writing this review before we even leave. This was quite possibly the best breakfast food I've ever had. The tater tot Benedict and the triple 2 were perfect choices for two hungry adults. Tons of food and flavor. If you're new to the area, this place is a MUST for a classic homemade breakfast feel. 10/10

Great Breakfast, but I could do without the short, obese waitress with the 10th grade education expounding on her "research" on vaccines.

That's not to say the cubano was bad by any means, it was also delicious, but the fish taco was delightful. Not sure if it was a supply/demand issue, but I can't stop thinking about it. I sat at the bar. The service was okay. I ran out of beer in my glass before the bartender/server asked if I wanted another. Not a biggie, but would have been extra points for attentiveness. Music was relaxed and the place churns people out pretty quick it seems. Good on them, well deserved. This place was a nice break from some of the restaurants I've been to lately that were found lacking.

From a young age, Ben took an interest in cooking and often helped his mother around the kitchen. He graduated from the culinary program at Lakes Region Community College in 2010. He relocated to Portsmouth, known for its bustling restaurant scene, and began working under chef Julie Cutting Kelly at Brazo Restaurant. Once Kelly left to open Cure Restaurant, Ben took over as head chef. He would continue to work at various Portsmouth restaurants over the years. In 2018, Ben and Sarah purchased and opened their own food truck on Islington Street which they dubbed "Wrap Shack". After finding success with the truck, the couple decided to open their own brick & mortar eatery in nearby Rye. The menu at ParkD features a variety of chef plates, sandwiches, tacos, salads, soups and various appetizers. The drink menu also features an eclectic selection of craft beer, cider, wine, cocktails and mocktails. My family and I stopped for lunch at ParkD this past summer while we were on our way to Maine for a summer getaway. We were looking for a good lunch spot in Rye, and ParkD came highly recommended on Yelp. We really liked the vibe at the cozy eatery. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. After looking over the menu, I had the "Pork Belly Grilled Cheese" (fontina, gouda, gruyere cheese blend, fried pork belly, arugula, tuscan white, wine/ chips), my wife had the "Fried Cheese" (Mexican fried cheese, arugula, tomato, pickled onion & cilantro, chipotle aioli, ciabatta, w/ sweet potato fries), our older son had the "Tay's Tenders" (w/ fries), and our younger son had the "Kids Mac & Cheese" (w/ chips). I loved how my sandwich was an excellent balance between the crispiness from the bread and pork belly and the gooeyness from the delicious cheese blend. My wife and I both thought that our sandwiches packed a lot of flavor from the ingredients. I washed my sandwich down with a draft pour of the locally-produced Great Rhythm Brewing's "Squeeze" (IPA). We barely heard a peep from our sons, so they must have really liked their food. We're happy that we discovered ParkD and we highly recommend them to anyone visiting the area!

I can't speak to the ambiance as I only ordered from the outside window. I ordered the chicken kabob wrap with feta and tzatziki, and spicy tahini on the side. The chicken was well-seasoned and tasted amazing, definitely worth going out of the way for! I asked for the feta & tzatziki inside the wrap, not as a side so I was surprised to be charged $4 more for it since it wasn't a significant amount, like the spicy tahini inside the container. But I'd still come back and order from them. Baklava was delicious & fresh, very happy with overall quality & experience. chicken kabob wrap 10/10 baklava 10/10 If you're in the area, don't let this small restaurant fool you, it is absolutely worth the stop and completely satisfying. I've been here twice now both times with my Mom. She chose this place a while ago for lunch. I got…read morethe chicken tenders dinner. It was OK but I wasn't a big fan of the brand of dipping sauce that they carry. Onion rings are delicious & I believe that they are homemade. It's an easy process as you go up to the counter to place your food & drink order. Visible menu on display with prices. You pay, get a number and can go inside & seat yourself. They will call out your number & bring your food to your table. On my first visit here staff was attentive and someone had come by to check on how we were doing & asked us if we needed anything. Not on this trip and it was busier on my 1st visit this year. My mom was craving whole belly clams & wanted to come here. We came around 4pm on a Tuesday. I decided I was going to get a lobster roll as I haven't had one on my visit while here in NH and I was ok with paying the crazy price of $29.99 and boy was I disappointed!! The texture of the lobster was odd.....it was soft, smooth & slippery. I've never had a lobster roll where the meat tasted like this before. Maybe it was super fresh? IDK but the lobster was lacking in the taste department. I got it with mayo. There was absolutely no spices/seasonings in it, no celery for that crunch, nothing. It was the worst lobster roll that I've ever had even the mayo didn't have any taste & I had asked for extra mayo. Oh & the bun, what was that?? One side looked like a hot dog roll & the other side looked like the butt end of a loaf of bread. It was barely even toasted on one side if that. Thank God for the onion rings as they were delicious & I knew that as I had them on my first visit. I told my mom how disappointed I was in their lobster roll and only ate 1/2 of it but due to the cost of it I had asked for a container to take the uneaten 1/2 home. I planned on adding some flavor to it with spices & some more mayo. Well the next day I decided I wasn't interested in it and offered it to my mom who gladly accepted. I asked her if she wanted me to put some seasoning in it & she said "no" well she agreed with me that it had NO flavor to it & was just as disappointed as I was. So unfortunately I don't recommend the lobster roll with mayo unless you like it to lack flavor. This last visit no one came to check on us & I saw 4 different girls in the eating area that worked there. My reasons for the 3 stars: 1. Prices 2. No flavor in the lobster roll, no hot dog bun, nor a toasted bun 3. Gross dipping sauce for your chicken tenders 4. Service in the inside seating area is a hit or miss I don't see myself coming back here unless I'm giving my mom a ride for her to get something to eat. She did enjoy her whole belly clams but even those were expensive. I know seafood can be pricey but I feel like their prices are not competitive with other places that serve seafood. This definitely isn't a fancy place so don't expect it to be. Food is served on paper, you get a little package with plastic silverware & a napkin. Staff aren't waiting on you. You get your own drink up at the soda fountain. These things I don't mind. I just expect my food to taste good & be satisfying which my most recent trip it wasn't.
