Went there with my Astro van to clean it up. I had overspray from a paint job. The guy says he needs to use a clay bar. Charges me $50 and takes a half hour longer. After 90 minutes the windshields are the same. When I asked the guy at the register he ignored me. Ok so maybe it's a language problem so I ask in Spanish and he still ignores me. I was late to my appointment and the windshields are the same. I went on YouTube and found the solution myself. I could've saved $50. My advice don't go there. read more

i've given this place the benefit of the doubt more than twice... jokes on me i guess. every single time, since the new owners took over, i am not satisfied with how they dry my car. it's ALWAYS dripping water after i leave. Next thing you know i have water stains ALL OVER the sides of my car, the tail, head lights, side mirrors you name it. at first i thought, "ok... they were pretty busy and i'm sure they have a time limit on each car" but today i realized that is absolutely NOT the case, to make matters worse... i asked them to wax my car. i was there early this morning... there were 2-3 other cars besides mine so i thought "for sure they'll do a good job for a well deserved tip" i was sadly mistaken. not only was there water dripping from every which crack on my car... there is still sand in my back seats from my trip to the beach AND!!!!!! there were wax patches all around my car! I went there for a car wash and instead i was treated badly. i asked to speak to a worker about the job done on my car. it was done improperly and all i wanted was for them to put armorall in my car. a worker got the owners brother and instead of treating me in the manner that was due to a customer of his establishment i was called puta, whore and a lot of ugly words. i recommend no one visit this establishment unless they like to be treated rudely and as business owner in Montebello I would advise my clients and and their families not to visit this establishment. Horrible service. I took my car to get it really detailed payed 35$ for the full service to get it vacuumed, washed, waxed and interior detailed. When I got back in it the inside had spray marks of the stuff they used to clean the interior. It was all over my shifter and radio. They didn't use the scent I wanted and it wasn't even properly vacuumed. I could have done all this and ended up with a better result for way less than that. Good car wash with below average prices. Unlike other reviewers I've yet to have bad experience here. I've been coming here for the last few months and I know what car wash I want when I get here. (The Works with strawberry scent on the inside). Employees are always friendly also. Used to go here many years ago. Then they closed down and now reopened under new owner. The place is hit or miss, depending on who is working there that day. I had a guy that cleaned and dried my car like I paid a million dollars for it. But there are times I would get some guy who just didn't care about my car or his own personal hygiene. The car seat smelled like mildewy wet towels for days after that experience. The owner seems to be a Christian and they are honest and friendly, but I could do without some of the not so pleasant experiences. The run specials every Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but if you forget to ask for it, they also conveniently fail to remind you about it. read more

I took my car in for a car wash last Wednesday night and today I realized that my glasses were stolen out of my vehicle. I call up the store and the man tells me; "that's not my problem. I can't do anything about it. You should call the same day because the people here don't remember." First of all, I wear prescription glasses on a daily, I am a student who goes to school therefore when I decide to wear my contacts I reach for my glasses which are usually in my middle console. Today, while wearing my contacts I reach down and my glasses are not there. The man went on to tell me, "I don't know it could have been stolen at a restaurant, grocery store, wherever you go." I respond with a brief statement to prove him wrong, "how in the world would they be stolen out of my car if there was no forced entry in my car." Got my car washed yesterday. I think I got the diamond wash, it was $50. I chose this place since I work across the street so it was convenient. A few of my co workers got their cars detailed and washed here and had a horrible experience. I figured maybe it was just a bad day or something so I still decided to go. I went on my lunch to pick up my car and my windows were all spotted and there was still spots on the car that they didn't clean. I got my seats conditioned, but there was patches of parts that were not conditioned. I was running late to clock back in from lunch so I didn't have time to fully inspect my car. But I did tell the guy about the windows and spots of dirt. He tried wiping the windows and the spots were not coming off. My windows were not like that before. He said there was nothing he could do. And he didn't touch the spots on the car but I was in such a rush I had to go read more

not even one (1) star. i came to do a detailed job inside out and major fail. its a detail job and the detail corners and creveces were not done (yes, im yelling in caps). i paid 130.00 for a car wash with armoral on my tires. the door shafts were dirty, my carpet soaked (and its beige). its not the workers fault, they are led to fail. its the owners fault for not proper training a manager or getting a real manager that will do the leg work to create leaders. then again what can i expect from this car wash. better yet its my fault for not taking my car to a luxury car detail guy. read more

I am VERY surprised to see people giving terrible ratings. I think it might have been just been a bad experience for them personally. I have been here about over a dozen times and it is my favorite carwash. I'm here right now and they have bukoo customers. I'm assuming ONLY the angry ones bother to comment. I think one time I did have a cashier ignore me a little but it wasn't too big of a deal even though I'm big on good customer service. So the number one reason for being my favorite is I think that they clean my car the best. Seriously, my car is spotless after. The workers are nice, they don't GAWK at women, and many even know English! Anyway I definitely recommend that a person try it at least once and decide for themselves. Don't get me wrong I'd rather keep this place to myself, but it's too great. BTW they are usually NOT fast, but to me it's worth it since I don't come in a hurry. I would like to report an incident that occurred inside the business on Friday, October 11, 2013. I took my car for a car wash at that location. When I paid the cashier, he was talking with another person. I went outside to wait for my vehicle to be washed, I thought that I needed change to give a tip to the person who washed my car. The only bills I had were $20.00. I took the $20.00 bill to the cashier and asked him for change. He looked at the bill and informed me that he did not have change, although he opened the cash box and there were definitely suffiient bills there for change. Maybe he did not want to give me the change as it would make him short afterwards. Immediately, the person with whom he was talking, informed me that he had change. I handed him the $20.00 which he immediately included with his roll of bills. He then took out a $5.00 and placed it on the counter. After that, he fiddled for a minute or so and put five $1.00 bills on the glass. I informed him that the bill I gave him was a $20.00. He responded that I was confused because, he then pointed to the $5.00 on the glass and told me that that was the bill that I gave him. I then looked at the cashier asking for confirmation that the bill I gave this person was a $20.00, The cashier then informed me that he did not see the bill, although he told me he did not have change for a $20.00 when I originally showed to him. The cashier sided with the person he was talking to and they both confirmed that the bill was a $5.00 and not a $20.00. I don't know if they do this as a routine or if it was a single incident. I told the person who took the bill from me that I wanted my money back and he looked at the cashier who said that I was wrong about the amount of the bill. ' I am a 77 year old disabled veteran. I did not go there to make any trouble or get into an argument. I did not feel I was in a position to take on two people who are much younger and stronger than I am. I then walked out. I would respectfully request the administration of this business reimbursement of $15.00 that I am out of and deduct that amount from the salary of the cashier as he was definately involved in the scam. Came here because I had a coupon for a Works Wash. They looked unorganized because they were trying to give me the cheaper option even after I paid and gave them my coupon. My car, like most cars, has an antenna cover on top of the car. The part broke off in their care and they didn't care. They gave me the part and were like sorry wasn't when we were hand drying, so they won't be at fault. Never coming back here again. took my brand new car there to get it's first wash, horrrible, my car sat in the sun after it went through wash for about 1/2 hr. by the time they wiped it down i had water stains all over my window, talked to manager he tried to say it was like that, bull sh---, so they washed again, wiped it down, looked ok, so frustrated just wanted to get out of there, got it home, i wanted to cry, water stains all over the place especially on my windows, now i hope some other car wash will be able to fix there problem if not law suit, i would not recommend this place to anyone. read more
