The front desk assistant Sally was so nice and helpful! She gave me the post-procedure mask right away after my laser treatment that could help me to recover my skin faster. My provider explained every step of the procedure and made sure I was comfortable throughout the treatment. There was minimal downtime--just a little redness that went away quickly. Within the following weeks, I noticed my skin becoming firmer, smoother, and more radiant. The results look very natural, and I especially love the subtle tightening around my jawline and the overall healthy glow. Front desk person was a little rude when I check in after 30 mins wait and she told me if I don't wanna wait then book someone else. Not feeling welcomed and cared. read more

I had the Ultherapy 2nd generation treatment done at BHPS today. The overall environment was great--very clean and quiet. The doctor was very professional and asked many questions before the procedure, giving me a lot of helpful advice. She even adjusted the number of shots and treatment areas specifically based on my concerns. I also have slightly hollow under-eyes, so I asked whether I should get Thermage for the eye area. The doctor was very honest and advised against it, saying part of it is genetic and the treatment wouldn't make much difference. I really appreciate that she didn't try to upsell anything unnecessarily. The Ultherapy pain level was tolerable, and now I'm looking forward to seeing the results after recovery. read more

Honestly I wish I didn't have to write this review but I am so so disappointed with my session. I had a 90 minute hydrafacial appointment and the lady that did my treatment was named Michelle. She was EXTREMELY aggressive the entire time, but especially so when she was using the hydrafacial suction machine. I honestly felt like I was being cut my the machine. She was going super fast like she had to be somewhere and very aggressively. As soon as she was done with her rounds, she slapped on my face mask and had my waiting in the room for 30 minutes. I could feel my face tingling and felt so so uncomfortable. Her demeanor from the start was very cold but when you're providing a service, especially one involving someone's face, the least you can do is do it gently and properly. I wish I saved my money and went elsewhere. I'm truly sad to even be writing this review because I really wanted to like this place and come regularly. Michelle's aggression ruined it. Won't be returning. Update: I just got home and got to look at my face. She scarred my nose and my forehead due to how aggressive she was with the extractions. I'm so upset. My face looks like it got mauled by a cat. read more

Know your worth then add tax. Can I talk about the wonderful experiences I've always had at Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeons? Self care is important to me so I come here for all my beauty needs. During my most recent visit I decided to get a 90 minute hydro facial. I made my appointment a month in advance and when I arrived to their office they took me in on time and my room was clean and ready for me. Everything here is spotless and a great place to relax and unwind for any procedure. My aesthetician was Alina. She was very professional, knowledgeable and did an amazing job. I really appreciate her attention to detail and making sure I was satisfied with my treatment. Tina and Lina also assisted me and were just as great. Everyone here is just a pleasure and makes my experiences wonderful. I wouldn't take my journey of beauty to anyone else and at least here I know I'm in really good hands and you'll be too. This is long overdue. My tattoo removal experience started off fine, they had a nurse named Jen who was excellent. She did 2/6 treatments for me. Then there were others that were ok, but the service, yikes. Like they only hire people who speak limited English and have you wait in a room over 1 hr after numbing. I have to remind them to treat me... just weird and unfortunate since the treatments cost so much. read more

BHPS did a great job consulting me, and they have great discount for a new member. When I arrived, I waited for about 30 mins. Then the nurse took me into the room and played some soothing music. I felt very relaxed during the session, and the nurse was very patient and explained to me how the machine works. It was a wonderful experience! read more

I did thermage eye treatment, and it was so smooth. Sherry was very gentle and did a great job! I also did jawline ultherapy, which was surprisingly painless ( just a little tingly). I just got micro needling with PRP done for the first time. I was very nervous but the staff was very helpful and answered all my questions beforehand to make me feel comfortable. Anh was the nurse who did my procedure and she was very gentle and accommodating to my requests for treating my problem areas. She's also very personable and easy to talk to, which made me more comfortable as well. Jessica was very helpful with scheduling my next appointments and finding the best package future procedures. I got a hydrafacial for my first visit and got Steller M22 on my 2nd visit because they recommended it to treat the redness on my face. Tina was my consultant, very attentive to my skin and you can tell she has a lot of experience! Both treatments were done professionally and their service is super awesome. Hydrafacial - the most relaxing facial ever! I almost fell asleep because it was SO nice. My skin was literally glowing after and I think it's such a nice treat to give your skin. I would 100% recommend this to my girl friends! Steller M22 IPL was a quick 30min laser treatment that helps with texture, toning, even out my skin tone and tightening. My treatment was done by Nurse Kory, she was friendly and super knowledgeable so I really appreciated her :) The whole treatment was painless and it was a great experience! Mytee is my point of contact and she is so detailed and a great communicator, she answered all of my questions and concerns ... their is no pressure or up selling with her. I would recommend you call in and ask for her for your consultation. With that said I have to review Kory, she is a fantastic nurse her hand is gentle and she is so sweet and truly cares about you and your results....She takes her time and is very thorough, I experienced NO PAIN!! I purchased the 'One PRP Hair-Restoration Treatment' from Groupon for this place. My experience was so horrendous that, after a year, I decided to write a review. The staff performing the PRP had an assistant, and they both had no clue. I had to use the public bathroom sink located on the other part of the building to wash my hair, which was very uncomfortable and had to walk between patients with a wet hair. I experienced so much pain, even with numbing cream applied, that the discomfort remains etched in my memory. Moreover, the trained nurse was practing on me and the PRP serum was dripping down to my face and neck, wasting the entire serum. The staff at this place exhibits a very low standard and poor performance and don't recommended it. read more

This is the best place I've ever been for medical and skin care treatments. I have done a few skin care programs but my favorite program is the hydrafacial, it usually takes about an hour and they start with a massage with essential oils and then cleanse your face with the hydrafacial machine. Very comfortable experience. Highly recommend this place!!! read more

I came in for a facial with Michelle, and it was so lovely. My skin felt hydrated and ultra soft. After, Tina conducted a consultation to address my skin concerns. She gave me a very thorough assessment of my face and was so lovely and honest. I was verging toward overdoing it, but Tina reeled me back in, so I especially appreciated her forthcomingness. I came back the next week for Botox and microneedling with Kory. I felt I was in very capable hands, and the staff was so accommodating and professional. After filling out the firms, I was asked to provide a credit card to keep on file. I have really excellent private PPO insurance. Providing a credit card is not something I do, ever since my old MD made some unauthorized charges to the one she had on file. I was informed that if I did not give them a credit card number, they would charge me the full office visit ( $132!!!) and I could get reimbursed from my insurance. I pay big bucks for this PPO so that I only have a $20 copay and no deductible. So why would I pay UP FRONT? I explained that I do not do this and why, but they said it was one or the other, so I walked. Really, really poor office management. It's not like I live in a one horse town. There are a zillion derms in OC, so I will be taking myself to one who can provide more reasonable service to their patients.

I have had a similar issue with the billings that several have mentioned below. Dr. Butani's staff…read moresays that a hyperpigmentation was a cosmetic issue and not covered under insurance, then has the nerve to say that I need to pay because my insurance won't cover a portion! It's very frustrating because it doesn't make any sense and you have to fight with them every time about stupid stuff when their office should just be organized and more professional. They said they will research the issue and call me back, but I still haven't heard anything yet, I will post an update once I hear something from them. Update: Dr. Butani's office called me back a few days later, not too long after and resolved the issue for me in a pleasant way. However, I want to make it clear that Dr. Butani is an EXCELLENT doctor. She diagnosed an injury on my wife's skin, and provided fast and effective treatment that got us perfect results, leaving no side effects, and glowing skin! Same with me, she performed operations on my skin, and she solved my issues much more effectively than other doctors. As far as a dermatologist, she is truly wonderful. In my case, it was worth dealing with all the administrative hassle, but hopefully she has them fixed by now as I know she has a lot on her plate with a massive new office and speaking engagements and seminars.

A truly life-changing experience…read more I originally went to Image Perfect Laser to see aesthetician Theresa Cadwallader for treatment of some dark spots and fine lines. I had laser and CO2 microneedling treatments, and later returned for a PRX chemical peel. There was one very small dark spot that didn't go away with treatment--in fact, it had gotten darker. I mentioned it to Theresa, and she immediately became concerned and asked Tracy Weigand, a PA dermatologist with Lumen Skinlab, who works in the same suite, to take a look. Tracy was concerned as well and offered to perform a shave biopsy and send it to pathology. The results came back as melanoma in situ. I was referred to a dermatology oncologist by my PC physician, a second lab confirmed the diagnosis, and the melanoma was surgically removed. I honestly thought the spot was just another harmless dark spot. I am incredibly grateful to Theresa for paying attention to that tiny change and to Tracy for taking it seriously and acting so quickly. Their knowledge, attentiveness, and willingness to investigate something that could easily have been overlooked made all the difference. I can't thank Theresa and Tracy enough. What started as a visit for cosmetic skin care ended up potentially saving me from a much more serious problem. I highly recommend both of them--not only for their expertise, but also for the care and attention they give their patients.
