Horrible shape and filing of my mail. No paint on top.
    Nicole J.

So I called to see if I could walk in on a Friday evening, a man answered and said yes come on in. I arrived, sat briefly and then they sent me to a pedicure chair... which was not clean. I started to make them clean it before putting a bag in but decided... let me just see what they do. Let's see how they normally conduct business. No, they did not clean the stains inside the foot tub before putting the bag in. Next, they turned the water on and let me soak as they finished working on other patrons. The guy who sat me offered me "wine" and I waited. Finally a woman who seems like a manager or maybe owner comes over and offers me a nail color option tray. I told her I had my own color. This is USUALLY where the level of service changes for the worst, which it did! For some background info, I've always brought my own color to nail salons. Why? Because my colors and quality of my polish is always top tier. I'm originally from Brooklyn, NY, and most round the way nail salons would love my color & design choices I brought in. But here in 2024 Charlotte, all they care about is money! You bringing your own nail polish means two things to them; one... you're not getting gel, which costs more money, and two... they assume you'll PROBABLY choose the basic and cheapest pedicure package. Unless I'm familiar with your salon and the caliber of their higher end pedi's, I'm absolutely going to choose the basic pedi. Why?! Because most salons do not live up to the quality of the higher end salons that charge more for REAL spa experiences. So they did exactly what I figured they would, the possible owner/manager chick ditches doing my pedi and puts me off to the rough, balding older lady, while she does the gel pedi next to me. Grandma clearly feels a way also because they probably do that to her all the time, put the customers they don't want off on her. So I feel her pain, but at the same time this was NOT a pleasant experience... for either of us I'm sure! I'm not one to make a fuss, unless it's absolutely warranted. So far, she cut my big toe nails way too short and nipped my cuticles. Not to mention pushing & pulling my feet like she's angry at me for something. We'll see if I bleed towards the end and how well her polish job is. I told myself I wouldn't tip because I'm tired of being forced to spend more on these BS "spa pedicures" in dirty bowls of water in order to get decent treatment, but I feel sorry for gram gram! Stay tuned... FYI, my polish matches my ALREADY DONE NAILS PERFECTLY, hence why I chose it and brought it here, will determine what I do. Wait... NOT paper towel between my toes? But you mad that I didn't get your "spa pedi" in a dirty bowl?! HA! So far this ish looks like trash. She cut my toes too short because she rushed thru this with an attitude. Yea, no tip and I won't be back. So in conclusion, maybe if you decide to spend more on mediocrity, you will have a better experience. But let me take my tail back to South Park. I'm tired of these people. Pics are posted. She rushed thru the entire experience, filing and shaping my nail was trash. In a good salon they will shape it and then paint the top so you don't have that rigid, white top of nail. Smh this is ghetto for $27. Smh And you know what's crazy, normally I'll top even if I have a bad experience and then never come back. But.... Nope! I'm not doing that anymore! Good luck to whomever is reading this. Hopefully your experience is better but I won't be back!

he cut my nail too short and it was bleeding and in alot of pain every time he touched it. then made me soak my nails off, then charged me for having to soak my nails off because he cut them too short, and it says online a full set is $35 but i ended up with my total being $60? went a time before this and the nails were all wonky and she struggled to do a french tip and said "its hard you know?" if u cant do a french tip how are u in the nail business

    French line is off..

I called to ask if I can get in to remove my gel-x and they said I could come any time. I thought they were slow so I didn't think nothing of it. Came in and I ended up w a lady that kept persuading me to get dip on to keep them "strong". A princess group party came in and I knew my lady had to do one of them. I appreciate her not rushing me but if you're booked for a party why would you upsale me when it's more time and you're running late for your appointments. I felt bad that the girls were all waiting for their manicurist. Anyways, she cut me w the drill and blamed my short nail..... what? lol I'm not happy w the results, but I still tipped her very well. But I do not recommend this place, unless you're a regular or have someone there that's really good. Other than that they're quantity over quality. Which most nail salons can be. They're all lifting at the bottom now and my hair keeps getting caught up in there. Also, I don't think nippers and clippers should just be pulled out from a drawer... I haven't seen anyone use sterilized tools or seen any soaked in barbicide. Pumice stones at the manicure tables was odd too..

The lady convinced me to do SNS when I wanted gel, they are super thick, she left most of the glue under the nail stuck to my skin, there's still red all over my fingers from the powder and they are shaped weird. Never again

Never. Again. Went for a walk in and got a older gentleman. After discussing I wanted SNS, he tried to overlay my SNS nails with acrylic. His argument was my nude SNS looked like acrylic. But we had talked about it??? I had a tip on my pinky nail. One tip. I understand he needed to cut that off, ok cool. I spoke up and told him that was the only tip, the rest of my nails are my natural nails. He proceeds to CUT OF ALL MY NAILS on my right hand. The whole time I'm telling him those are my I don't want them cut. I'd pull back my hand and tell him these are my nails I don't want them cut...and then he'd cut another one. Now I'm angry. Other workers see my face and know I'm angry. When all this is done he asks "you wanted them short right?" My nails weren't crazy long but they were definitely longer. Then had the audacity to ask if I wanted to cut down my left hand??? I had to let him finish (while he complained about my nails being thin, after he very aggressively filed and buffed them)because I work a manual job and cannot go to work without something protecting my nails but I WILL NOT BE BACK. Edit: my nail broke as soon as I started working

Unfortunately, this would be my first and last time at this nail shop (not a spa). My usual nail spa was closed for Mother's Day and this was the only one near by that was open. When I got there businesses was slow. While I was receiving service (SNS), it became a lot busier. My nail tech at his point started to rush my service and did a train wreck of a job on my nails. I will have to go to my usual salon to have it fix this week as I am so embarrassed to even walk around with my hands like this. She even com used to polish my nails as they were bleeding which is definitely a health code violation. Like madness. SMH. SN: one lady was told there was a 30min wait, 1hrs later she is still waiting. A few women walk in with appointment. They told this same lady she would have to wait another hour or come back tomorrow, cause they had to honor the appointments. This was soo unprofessional as the could have offered her service after lying about the wait time. This salon is a joke. Nail tech: -Cut 2 separate fingers making me bleed (then told me that I bleed easy) -Did not do a good job shaping my "natural short nails" -The powder was really thick (had to ask for it to be thinner serval times to no avail) -Let dried SNS and polish all over my nails and fingers (finish product)

Hmmmm not really sure why the rating here is so low but then again I've only been here a few times and I'm a male so I'm not getting all the bells and whistles. I'm only coming here for a basic manicure and pedicure. No extra special lotion. No extra special massage. No clear nail posish. Nothing else. Just a basic manicure and pedicure. That said, for me as a male it's just like any other nail salon. Nothing is different. I'm in and out and it's all basic. It's definitely changed with Covid though. There's glass between you and your nail technician, everyone's wearing masks and social distancing is definitely being practiced. Their check-in process was a bit weird though. It's via an iPad and when the asked me to check in it wasn't already on the check in app. Not sure if they wanted me to add my name to the calendar or what but I was definitely lost. Especially so as an avid Android user. The good: There's free wine. Not uncommon but still great (maybe on pause due to Covid though) The bad: They're more expensive than my other location (not by too much) but they were closed for the labor day holiday

Do not understand why low ratings. So nice sweet and fast service. Gel pedicure with powder dip nails added tips.

Absolute worst nail experience ever!! I came in on Monday to get regular nail polish on my nails and toes and I am so disappointed. To start with, the girl that started doing my nails did so much mess painting my nails and I had to ask multiple times to make my nails similar length and shape. She repeatedly tried to convince me to get gel manicure and I told her I didn't want to. Another lady came to "fix" my nails and did something worse. The picture shows what it looked like. I hated my nails but I had to be at a wedding and so I rushed out to pay and I paid $10 more than what I was told I would pay. No one cared about how me or my sister felt. I called the next day trying to speak to a manager and I was told he's on vacation and they can fix my nails. I go back and after making me wait 40 mins the lady told me that I didn't let my nails dry and that was why they looked like that. I told her I wanted a refund and I was refused one. I called the third day for the manager and he told me that I could come in and he'd fix it. I come in and he tells me that he can only take me at 7:30pm!! Mind you the store closes at 7pm. I'm just so shocked about this whole situation. Poor customer service and nail service as well. Please save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. I will never come back here

Never a long wait. Make an apt with Nancy, she is the best. She takes her time and is amazing

I didn't understand the ratings until now. I was forced into getting fake nails after I told them I only wanted gel on my real nails all for them to look like this and the Tim guy argue me down saying it doesn't look bad. $100 for nothing. Finding a new spot. Excuse the weird shape of my fingers.

I'm happy to report my gel manicure is still in perfect shape dispute the gap that needs to be filled in. Please note I am very rough on my nails, being a busy mom and running behind two German shepherds. I had a great experience at this salon even with No appointment they managed to fit me in on a busy Saturday at 4pm. The service was great, staff was personable, everyone wore a mask and practiced social distancing. I got a regular gel manicure which was about $36 (good price in my opinion). I definitely look forward to coming back

Instead of waiting another 15 minutes past our appointment we rescheduled for Monday night. We arrived promptly on time for our appointment and my husband and I were seated in the pedicure chairs. The tech asked who wanted to go first because she was going to start and it sounded like once another tech was done they would come over and start the other person. No big deal since there were two other techs in the building. I had my husband start his service since his feet are rougher than mine. Well, 35 minutes later and no one started my pedicure yet. I decided just to not get my pedicure. The whole point of booking together is we like to have the experience together, not be almost an hour behind the other person and now we are here for 2 hours. Extremely frustrating experience and we won't be back. Also, it seems there is no hot water hooked up to their pedicure chairs. The service started luke warm at best and got cold just 10 minutes later. The tech asked about my water before I decided to not get my pedicure and I told her it was cold, cold. She got up and came back with a boiling electric tea pot to put hot water in the basin. My husband had to wait another 10 minutes to get boiling hot water in his basin so more than half of his pedicure was done with COLD water. Completely unacceptable especially when it's $61.00 for the "ultimate" pedicure we selected. If you are looking for a professional, relaxing pedicure you WILL NOT find it here.
