We found this place on a whim but we got lucky. We were in Charlotte for a mini date trip but were going back home to Columbia. We tried to find a place that was convenient enough to go to and quick to get back home. This place had good ratings on Google and decent ones on Yelp so I decided to try it out. I called to see if they had a wait time because it's Saturday afternoon, I always assume all nail salons are busy. They said they had no wait, so we got there asap. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They sat us immediately and they gave us the menu to choose our pedicures and my bf also got just a basic manicure as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We both got the volcano pedicure (I don't remember the cost) but you get to choose a scent and I got tropical citrus and he got green tea and aloe Vera. The quality of the pedicure itself was top notch. She first took the gel off my toes, soaked and cleaned my nails, used a sugar scrub. I hate when they clean up my nails because I'm so sensitive that it hurts but only for a moment. When they scrubbed my feet it felt so good. They were cleaning the soul out of me lol. They used hot stones on my legs and they used the oranges to rub on the skin as well. There was so many hot / cold sensations, I didn't know what to do with myself. The whole experience was so amazing and relaxing. Now when it was ready to paint my toes, I was scared cuz some ppl suck at doing French but the lady did her thing ! I asked for bubble bath base and she did just that, and when I said thin white line, she did not disappoint. I loved every second of my pedicure. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My bf enjoyed his experience as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If possible, we will definitely be back but if you're in the Fort Mill area, try them out. I'll give them a 8/10. The cost for both pedicures and his manicure was $170 which I don't think was terrible. read more

The man who did my manicure had crazy long fingernails. They looked like they had never been trimmed. They were so long that it hurt when he touched my hands. I now have cuts on my hands. The manicure is uneven and not great looking. I will not be back! read more

I've only ever had great experiences here. The polish and cuticle work are always precise, no matter which manicurist works with me. They also did exactly what I wanted for my full set and they've stayed on longer than any set I've ever had- And I'm a nail biter so they were working with nothing. This was my first time coming here. They made me up rub off my own previous SNS before starting on my nails. They also asked if I wanted lotion at the end of my manicure and just squirted some in my hand. No massage was given or offered. I paid 45 dollars for this service. read more

I walked over to this salon while my Ford was at the dealer. I almost didn't go because of some bad Yelp reviews but decided to try it anyway. I was blown away with the level of service by everyone in the salon. From the guy at the front desk to the two ladies who worked on my nails , everyone was prompt and professional! They even gave me a ride back to the dealership so that I wouldn't mess up my pedi walking back! I don't know why anyone would give this salon anything but FIVE STARS! I made a 4:00 appointment for my 19 year old daughter with Kim (station#3) to have her current sns nails with tips removed and redone. She wanted a different shade of pink on each nail, from dark to light. She checked with another nail tech and told this was fine and had her pick the different shades of pink while waiting for her appointment. Despite my daughter having her appointment for 4:00, Kim apparently started another client just minutes before 4:00 so he had another tech set up my daughter to soak her nails in acetone. He never checked on her and allowed her to soak in acetone for 48 minutes. Then he took her to his station that he had not cleaned from the prior client. My daughter told him what she wanted and he laughed and said that she could have one color and it would be blue. After going a couple of rounds insisting that she did not want blue nails, she told him that she just wanted a basic manicure with clear polish. So he proceeded to give her a manicure, using his fingernail to push back her cuticles and then starting insisting on blue polish again. At that point she stood up and paid $22 for the "manicure " and left. Needless to say not only will my daughter not go back to this shop, Zen Nails has list me as a customer as well. read more

The atmosphere is peaceful and the prices are more than usual but you get what you pay for. The quality of the work is the best I've gotten since I've been getting my nails done. read more

I have cuts on my toes, fingers, like literally bloody. They laughed cause I left a small tip but in reality I didn't want to leave anything at all. I was nothing but nice from the moment I walked in and throughout the whole service. They sit and talk about you and make you feel bad about even being there in the first place. I got there at 11am, I left at 2:25pm. My nails and feet are so sore from being cut and filed down so aggressively.!! I asked for square, NO ROUND! She repeated and asked me another 20 times. I mentioned SQUARE, NO ROUND. All her memory must've went out the door with the other customers. My nails were being filed round, the white line was too thick, and they were different shapes. I went there to get a breather and left crying and even more stressed than when I went. A guy came to fix but filed more after being informed the nails was too short and my toes were sore from being cut. He fixed my toes, that made me feel a little better. They told me the lady didn't speak much English - when I come back, it would be better! It sucks bc I won't be back and she was so sincere and apologetic. I still left a tip & they didn't take anything off my services after all that. Here is a picture I sent to my sister in the midst of about to walk out.
