So I was so looking forward to the grand opening of Bevi Bene this upcoming Saturday, June 25th. Then this pass weekend, on social media, I noticed people posting about a soft opening which prompted me to contact the owners to see if they were officially open. They are! So I took the opportunity to check them out and I love what I see so far. Currently, they have a select menu available so they have enough of everything at their official grand opening. Luckily, there was something that I liked. I'm a wine drinker, but a real beer cicerone is able to match a drink to your taste. Bevi Bene is a very nice lager based brewery. They also serve some sours and even hard kombucha! Love the beautiful mural design on the outside of the building. It really draws you in and it's noticable from the interstate. Inside is a bar and a nice area to sit to your left. To the right are the vessels that hold the beer. Outside is a spacious patio area with various seating. There is a window to order from the patio as well. You can find tables for two along the front side of the building. It's a great area to relax and chat with friends. read more

We've tried many Charleston breweries but hadn't made it to this one until today. Really cool atmosphere, different from your regular brewery. They also offer a wide selection of beverages including hard kombucha and wine so there's something for everyone. Food truck out front too for food. Would definitely recommend! read more

One of my favorite breweries in Charleston - super chill vibe, really friendly staff and welcome to all. Kids enjoy playing outside, with the board games inside, or exploring the farmers markets in the first Sunday of each month. Lagers are great and wine options are much better than most breweries around town (the chilled red is delish!). Food trucks are often in the parking lot, but they also serve pretzels (for free!) and chips. read more

OMG! This brewery is one of my all time favs. We stumbled across this place after hanging at folly beach and I'm so glad we did. As an interior design enthusiast, this brewery was gorgeously crafted. Loved the attention to detail, even in the bathrooms! The bartender was so kind and the beer was YUM! If you need a snack, they also had a vegan food truck right outside to fill the craving. On Wednesdays they also had a trivia night that was so fun! Wish we lived here so we could repeat visits. read more

Here last Friday for the Yelp Event for Black Out burger. It was our first time at this brewery. They have a selection of Larger, Sours and Hard Kombucha and craft sodas-the designated driver here :D Parking is pretty easy tons of parking spaces here. There are indoor and outdoor seating available and I'm guessing here they do food truck vendors because they have a designated space for food trucks. Very casual vibe and music played. We opted for the outdoor seating and enjoyed our Black Out burger that day. read more

Went to the Grand opening of Bevi Bene Brewing with my family today. Such a wonderful vibe and great energy that paired perfectly with the drink selection. They certainly had a beer for every palette and I couldn't be happier trying their Key Largo Kombucha. Fantastic and bright flavors with a pleasant sweetness throughout and crisp finish to help fight off the heat. My husband sampled the Berry Coffee Sour which he couldn't get enough of. The crowd that attended was such a welcoming group and made us feel right at home. Also its very kid friendly my 1 year old had plenty of room to run around. We rounded off the experience with some wonderful food from Vibrant Alkaline Vegan and music. I can't wait to come back! read more

Yesterday afternoon we did the brewery tour on the shuttle, we got to try a bunch of breweries in North Charleston and downtown! Bevi bene was on the list and was my favorite place. I'm very much of an aesthetic kind of person and loved the vibes that they had implemented there from the decor, the colors, the seating styles. They had a couple beers and then hard kombucha which I enjoy, I got the raspberry sour I believe and enjoyed it but I love a good sour. We played some cute games like this happiness one and they had a few others too. I could sit there for hours. They gave free pretzels and had bags of chips to buy which was nice and easy. They had a cute small patio and a couple tables and a couch inside. The staff was nice and helpful, very chill people. I heard they gave trivia there on Wednesday nights which would be fun to do one evening. I would have never found this place it was in a random area but definitely will be sharing with others and coming back. I love a good game and beer. The bathrooms were also very clean, always a plus. I give it a 4.7 out of 5 Only reason I took off some was the pretzels were stale but honestly its the thought that counts for us and we still ate them. read more

Outstanding, unique brewery that not only offers wine, lagers, and non-alcoholic drinks, but hard kombucha! My dad tried their nonalcoholic dark amber ale where I tried a sip and it tasted pretty convincing! I tried two hard kombuchas today: the fiore with its essence of sunflower petals, pineapple and there was a hibiscus one too. Very light and only $7 for a glass. There's a variety of indoor seating from couches to sitting areas and community tables along with a bar. Today was beautiful so sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine and the setup has a good variety of tables and a wall area to sit. They have an outdoor lil bar area too to order drinks as well. I liked how I saw a tray of card games and chalk - fun activity to play while enjoying some brews. Near the bathrooms they have self serve water which is useful. Digging the spacious parking and the mural outside is so unique - definitely catches your eye from afar. Glad I had a chance to check out Bevi! Can't wait to return!! read more

I was so pumped to try this place out because I kept seeing all their beautiful photos on Instagram and of course beer! We were with a small group of people and I chose to come to this place because I knew it was the grand opening. The outside was really pretty with a very nice patio area and they had a DJ playing. It was extremely loud and not just bc I'm older lol, I couldn't hear anything my friends were saying. The inside was absolutely gorgeous and loved the decor and colors and how it was set up. It was extremely loud in there as well and crowded which was to be expected on their first day. The part I wasn't a fan of is the bar tender that helped me. First of all I could barely hear her over the loud af music and then I was asking about the different types of beers and she's just pointing at them on menu and saying the names instead of suggesting one I may like. I asked if I could sample one l, as I would normally do if I've never been to a brewery before, and she said they weren't doing samples that day. To me that's frustrating bc why would I want to pay $7-8 for a pint of beer that I may not like. I ended up with the smaller pour and the beer was ok. I tasted my husband's beer and it wasn't my favorite either. Overall, I know this was their first day but first impressions are everything to me and I wasn't truly impressed by the service or the beer. It's definitely very "Instagramable" and a cute social hang out for sure. read more
