Such a fun and welcoming place. Great selections of beers, other beverages, and food specials as well. I enjoy the variety of events offered too!

Loved the vibes at Commonhouse! They had a variety of beverages but the frozen raspberry creamsicle was my favorite. Also loved that they have indoor and outdoor seating.

I have always enjoyed the outdoor area at this spot whether it was just for a drink or an event being held. It is very spacious and they have a small stage for when events are held. There is a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks. The food is not my favorite, not to much of a variety to chose from. The staff have always been friendly and helpful with answer questions regarding the menu. Once you place your order, you are given a number and food is brought to your table, again indoor and outdoor seating is available. There is street and lot parking available near the restaurant.

Nice staff. Weird food and expensive. I grew up in Charleston and visit my mom pretty much quarterly. Lately I've resorted to flying vs driving because I hate I95 and the drive is boring. Anyway on this trip I had a little time to spare so I stopped at Commonhouse to get a glass of wine and a small bite to eat. For my food I got pimento cheese thinking it would be a small bowl of the spread with bread, ham and pickles. After waiting a long time the server brought me these small bites with pimento cheese and ham that had been heated. It wasn't that great and for the price it was ridiculous. Looked like something a 5 year old would make. Anyway, not sure I'd eat here again. Next time I'll get chick-fil-a and then just have a glass of wine.

Great way to end the week! A ice cold beer, great food, good people and fun music! The outdoor area is like being at friends backyard.. Fun times, we will definitely be back!!!

Food is always on point here! I've had their burgers and the spicy chicken sandwich. Both great. I love their potato salad. It's a good price for the area as well. It's more like a Biergarten kind of place and that's my favorite part about it.

I love the quick bites here! They have a really great lunch deal as well! I love the quick ordering at the front and their outdoor space is really great. Prices are amazing and the staff is also super sweet always!

We just added a new pup to our family last week and decided to try out Commonhouse with her as our first venture out! What I hadn't noticed before was the little window to order from if you couldn't leave the dog with someone which is awesome, along with a wide selection of clean dog bowls for water! The mimosa hit the spot, and the red fox ale was a winning selection. Kids gave the cheeseburgers five out of five stars and the beer cheese on the tots just made the trip totally worth it. We enjoyed some live music as the kids wrestled on the turf- a standout Sunday! Thanks for welcoming all, Commonhouse!

I recently went to common house ale works for the first time and I love the space. I like that it has an indoor but a huge outdoor area. They also just celebrated six years. They are located in the park Circle area which is a very up-and-coming hip area to go sip bite and taste everything. They have a really good selection of brews and they most recently have partnered up with Swig and Swine, so you best believe there's some good eats there too you can follow along on my food adventures overall Instagram @sipbiteandtasteit

Small parking spaces so you would have to rely on street parking on busier days however I was lucky to park behind the restaurant on a Wednesday evening. Service was excellent! Let's talk about the food! I ordered a 3 meat combo: Brisket, Pork Ribs, and Pulled Pork. My favorite was the brisket however I wish it was sliced not chopped nevertheless it was tasty. The Pork ribs were delicious as well but I wish it was more tender. Pulled pork was nicely seasoned but not my personal preference of meats however it was my first time so I had to get a little taste of everything. I will definitely be back to try their brisket sandwich! The sides: Collard Greens, Mac & Cheese, and Cornbread that all come with the combo. I enjoyed these sides as they hit what southern sides are all about. No problem there!

We had fried pickles for the table. My daughter got brisket, my son got a burger and fries, and I had the 3 meat plate (sausage, brisket, and pork) with Mac and cheese and hash and rice. Everything on my plate had a nice, smoky flavor to it but was otherwise underwhelming. The sauces lacked real flavor and were bland. The hash was bland and the mac and cheese was just mush with too much flour and too little cheese. My son described his burger as "OK". Inside the decor had that Cracker Barrel thing going on where it's made to look old timey but comes off as manufactured, but you're here for food not aesthetics. Nothing really jumped off the table at me as "this is good". Maybe I am spoiled by having lived near so many stellar smokehouses when I was in the Columbia area, but paying $86 after tip for 3 people to eat very mid grade BBQ and the plates weren't really loaded down, when I could spend less for buffet at Shealy's or Hudson's and have an outstanding meal just doesn't feel great. At the same time, nothing was offensive. It just didn't scratch the BBQ itch for me. J.Ja

The restaurant itself is not at all fancy, even rustic one might say, but I came to eat, not look at decor. You stand in line and tell them what you want and they slice it right there and you move to the next station for sides and then drinks. So we got two whole beef cheeks and the Puerto Rican beans. I asked the fella behind the counter if I wanted the hash and rice or the beans and he said definitely the beans. Boy was he right. Make sure to get the house made pickles and pickled onions as they add the perfect amount of acid to the rich beef cheeks. I am a barbecue pork fanatic. Even after living in Texas where brisket and the beef rib are king, I favor pork. Today I jumped to the beef side. Beef cheeks that is. So tender that no knife was needed. Smokey with a flavor I can't describe because I never had them before. Heavenly. Those Puerto Rican beans also had a combination of flavors I haven't had before. LOVED THEM!!! Before all of their Lowcountry locations shuttered their doors, we could come here for special family occasions, casual lunches in downtown when I was a student at College of Charleston, or a dinner spot to pop into when running errands in Summerville or Mt. Pleasant. Imagine my joy upon returning for a visit to the Lowcountry for Mother's Day and finding out Sticky Fingers had made a long awaited return to North Charleston. I literally came here for dinner right after my flight landed Friday evening. It pains me to say, however, that THIS new Sticky Fingers is NOT the Sticky Fingers I grew up enjoying. I ordered some of my old-faithful menu items, only to find that none of them tasted the same. The hickory smoked wings were overcooked and dry (BURNT crispy on the edges), the pulled pork was hella dry ( I had to DROWN it in Carolina Gold sauce), and the fries that used to be delicious and crispy with the best fry seasoning had none of that going on. The only item that even tasted remotely close to what it used to be was my favorite appetizer - the loaded sticky potato skins. These were the best thing we had during dinner. Service was sub-par despite the fact that there were barely any other diners in the restaurant. We had to ask our server for items we ordered multiple times. For example, the corn bread that was supposed to come out with our entrees did not. We had to flag our server down on two separate times before they were brought out. In addition, there wasn't really any music playing in the restaurant so it was incredibly quiet and I felt like we were eating in a library. You would hear a song play every now and then very sporadically. Not sure if they were having issues with their speakers or what but with the lack of other diners it made for a bit of an awkward dining experience. At the close of our meal we sat there for 25+ minutes (after they had already closed at 9 mind you) before our server brought our checks to us - saying that another worker said they had taken care of our bill so she didn't realize we needed to pay. I missed the sweet corn muffins. I missed the loud blues music blaring from the speakers. I missed the exceptional high-quality food and friendly, professional service. Sticky Fingers may be back, but it ain't my Sticky Fingers.
