Great time at Commonhouse! Beer options are great! They also have THC drinks, soda, and water. Merch is a lot of cool options. Love the inside which is air conditioned but outside is fun, especially when there is a band like the one on Saturday 6-13. Great fun vibe. Only downside was all the sand outside so choose footwear carefully. Tons of parking but ubering is even better!

Such a fun and welcoming place. Great selections of beers, other beverages, and food specials as well. I enjoy the variety of events offered too!

Loved the vibes at Commonhouse! They had a variety of beverages but the frozen raspberry creamsicle was my favorite. Also loved that they have indoor and outdoor seating.

I have always enjoyed the outdoor area at this spot whether it was just for a drink or an event being held. It is very spacious and they have a small stage for when events are held. There is a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks. The food is not my favorite, not to much of a variety to chose from. The staff have always been friendly and helpful with answer questions regarding the menu. Once you place your order, you are given a number and food is brought to your table, again indoor and outdoor seating is available. There is street and lot parking available near the restaurant.

Nice staff. Weird food and expensive. I grew up in Charleston and visit my mom pretty much quarterly. Lately I've resorted to flying vs driving because I hate I95 and the drive is boring. Anyway on this trip I had a little time to spare so I stopped at Commonhouse to get a glass of wine and a small bite to eat. For my food I got pimento cheese thinking it would be a small bowl of the spread with bread, ham and pickles. After waiting a long time the server brought me these small bites with pimento cheese and ham that had been heated. It wasn't that great and for the price it was ridiculous. Looked like something a 5 year old would make. Anyway, not sure I'd eat here again. Next time I'll get chick-fil-a and then just have a glass of wine.

Great way to end the week! A ice cold beer, great food, good people and fun music! The outdoor area is like being at friends backyard.. Fun times, we will definitely be back!!!

Food is always on point here! I've had their burgers and the spicy chicken sandwich. Both great. I love their potato salad. It's a good price for the area as well. It's more like a Biergarten kind of place and that's my favorite part about it.

We just added a new pup to our family last week and decided to try out Commonhouse with her as our first venture out! What I hadn't noticed before was the little window to order from if you couldn't leave the dog with someone which is awesome, along with a wide selection of clean dog bowls for water! The mimosa hit the spot, and the red fox ale was a winning selection. Kids gave the cheeseburgers five out of five stars and the beer cheese on the tots just made the trip totally worth it. We enjoyed some live music as the kids wrestled on the turf- a standout Sunday! Thanks for welcoming all, Commonhouse!

I recently went to common house ale works for the first time and I love the space. I like that it has an indoor but a huge outdoor area. They also just celebrated six years. They are located in the park Circle area which is a very up-and-coming hip area to go sip bite and taste everything. They have a really good selection of brews and they most recently have partnered up with Swig and Swine, so you best believe there's some good eats there too you can follow along on my food adventures overall Instagram @sipbiteandtasteit

Our meals were delicious. The chicken cacciatore sauce was outstanding. Substituted vegetables for pasta. The salmon was delicious as well. Great service and friendly owners and chef!! Save room for the bread. Yummy

The only deviation was that the team was out of onion rings so the Stew Burger had sautéed onions instead. I got the pickled cucumber salad for the side. I loved the toasted brioche buns and the toppings on all sliders were fresh and flavorful. The burger slider patties were generous and juicy, though a little under-seasoned. Same for the pulled pork. They were prompt but probably because I beat the lunch rush. I can imagine they would be much busier 30 minutes from when I came. My favorite of the three was the Bada Bing. Would definitely get again if they come back. They would probably get five stars if the ground beef and pulled pork themselves were better seasoned.

When I saw that City Sliders was going to be here, I checked out the menu and knew I was going to order. I placed my order online and as soon as I went to submit they had suspended orders. I ended up just going up to the truck and ordering. It really didn't take long. The concept is to get two of the same sliders with a side. Since I knew I wanted to try a variety I opted to order their three slider offering; the Triple Threat. This way I could try their pork, chicken, and burger. And have leftovers!!! The order: a horsey pig, southern chick, the bada bing burger, and fries. Let's start with the actual slider buns. Awesome! Fresh and buttery and toasty brioche buns. My pig slider wasn't very horsey as they forgot the slaw with horseradish aioli. But the pork had great flavor. The southern chick ended up being my fav. Bacon, pimento cheese, and crispy chicken. Winning!! The Bada Bing! The burger was seasoned well and worked with the tomato and mozo but the pesto was too heavy with raw garlic. I had to brush my teeth twice before bed!!! Finally the fries. When I saw how many were in the box I immediately thought, leftovers. Wrong! I ate every last one! Crispy, hot, seasoned and perfect. I'm looking forward to seeing this truck again. :-)

Three stars is me trying to not hurt a business. Doctor Billy had a dream...to own a burger joint…read more Well my dream is to have an amazing burger, and I did not. Here's why it wasn't great. It's cooked to temp. I ordered medium rare, and it was medium well at best. A burger with a bun is a real treat for me, and I was soo let down. Solution...smash your burgers like EVERY other burger joint in Charleston's doing now, or just don't offer "to temp" burgers...make them all medium. Easy. Also, the burger itself seriously needed some salt. The 3 stars came from the speed of the food being ready, which was surprising with how long that patty was cooking. Or...not surprising since it was practically empty at peak lunchtime. So, this is a classic case of a guy with a PHD deciding to just "open a restaurant", without having a culinary/Food & Bev. background. (If your PHD is in culinary arts, forgive me) Don't do that. And if you do, and you're going to have "burger" in the name...it should be the best damn burger possible. Luckily these are easy fixes. Also, I really love the fact that they source grass-fed proteins. That I respect. The menu is large too. Suggestions (yes, I have a f&b background): start with making the basic beef burger "amazing"...then add all the other menu items. Season...taste. Lemme know when you have a smash burger. Those are nearly impossible to mess up. Nearly.

You can order from inside or at the outdoor station, which makes things convenient. The indoor space features a big bar, TVs, arcade games, and even a small gift shop--lots to keep everyone entertained. Our food came out very quickly, but unfortunately that seemed to be because it was pre-cooked. The fries were lukewarm, and most of the items lacked that fresh, hot taste (the boiled peanuts were a delicious exception--super hot and spot-on). Overall, this is a great casual, family-friendly environment for hanging out and enjoying the vibe. Just don't go expecting gourmet food, and you'll have a solid time.
