Bevmo has a decent selection of beers and spirits, but the prices aren't that great. Perhaps, alcohol prices in general are higher than they should be. The staff is friendly enough and the store is pretty well organized and it is easy to find what you are looking for. $45 for one six pack, two pints and two singles seems a bit excessive, especially for beer. I'm sure there are other places that have better prices, but since I rarely purchase alcohol anymore, I'm no longer aware of such retailers. read more

Usually I like BevMo, but this particular store lacks in a complete craft beer selection. It's bad enough to get two stars, but the staff is friendly, so I gave them a bump. Take a little longer drive down to Hi Time Wine for better selection at similar prices. read more

This is a pretty much a standard bevmo. It's an average size with a little bit smaller quantity of choices to pick from. The only beef that I have anywhere else in California this place closes at 10 o'clock but the ones in orange county close at 9 PM. read more

I normally love BevMo, but I suggest you CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATE date before making your purchase! I bought some beer at this location that was expired in January of 2010. (over a year ago) When I called to ask how often they check expiration dates on their items on the shelf, the guy who answers the phone says "What brand is it?" Full Sail Pale Ale. "Oh, the Full Sail guys usually check their own beer. We don't check it, they do." Makes me wonder if they even check their stuff at all. I'm writing this hoping to help the management and team of BevMo, my complaints have absolutely nothing to do with BevMo or their employees, it's purely the amount of homeless people lingering around the store and this center which is of course of no-fault to BevMo. If you get enough of these yelp reviews maybe you can take them to your landlord and show them that you are losing business because they are not controlling the homeless population in their center. I don't know what the answer is, I know the park behind this center is full of homeless people, I feel terrible for people that are in this situation, but when I'm out shopping I don't want to smell that offensive smell that most homeless people have, and I don't want people asking me for money every 10 steps, I hope they can find a peaceful solution. I will not be going back to this center for any business there until it's cleaned up. read more

Not the best pricing on liquor but definitely one of the biggest selections. I go here if I am looking for something not normally carried in normal grocery chains. If pricing were lower on hard liquor bevmo would become part of the routine. read more

They have plenty of options for beer, wine, and spirits. 3.5 stars for inventory. Unfortunately, customer service from the ACTUAL store manager wasn't friendly at all. SHORT GUY IN RED SHIRT GETS ZERO STARS HERE. I think its because he's really short but he seems like he has a short fuse ALL THE TIME. I have made multiple attempts to get there before they close, and he closes his store early!!!! I look to see who's around inside sometimes, but he on multiple occasions have closed up more than 6 minutes in advance. There are others that work there that definitely deserve praise so that's 1 star, but one manager is such an @$$ he ruins for everyone. I don't even think anyone else likes him either. Prices are terrible. Before my flight, I picked up a few mini bottles and noticed 3 to 4 dollar difference with wines at Von's. Pass on prices. Oh well, live and learn. I went last night to BevMo looking for, among other things, some unoaked wines. When I asked about unoaked wines a BevMo employee gave me a semi-blank albeit derisive look and mumbled something about blended table wines.. I was dismayed by (a) lack of knowledge, and (b) the attitude. I also noticed that prices on many wines increased by 60%-80% over the last 12 months on the same vintage. Anthony was very helpful in providing recommendations on what kind of sweet dessert wines we should try. This BevMo is not bad . I can buy single craft beers for a good price. The guy in the back is knowledgeable and nice. The guy in the front who checks you out needs a personality and also one time, the lady that can be my daughter check my id. She was not to bright but she doing her job. read more

Just went to this bevmo and bought 3 bottles of liquor including a $30 bottle of three olives vodka, an $80 purchase overall. The checkout guy put everything in a box. The box he gave us was apparently not strong enough to hold liquor as the middle of the bottom broke open breaking our vodka. We called to see if they would replace it as it was their box and they couldn't care less. I wasn't sure if they would replace it or not, but the complete lack of care and "once it leaves our store it's not our problem" comment was pretty infuriating. Needless to say we won't be shopping here again. read more
