However, I recently learned that Ranch Spirits has not sent any funds from the event to the dog rescue. It appears Ranch Spirits has kept the money I spent along with that of others - even worse, they are still showing images of the event on social media - I contacted Ranch Spirits and was abruptly told the check was in the mail, but as of this posting the rescue has still not received the funds - customers beware! We've been here twice and the 1st time we're here we can hear the guy saying the F word when he was coming out from the back as if we disturbed whatever he was doing in there. Sorry if customers are considered as an annoyance to your business. 2nd time we're here and that same guy was throwing and kicking boxes of wine as if they're made of plastic and costs $1 each. One can just grab a bottle and ran and that guy has no chance of catching up because he didn't even look when the bell rang as we enter. When we ask for a specific brand of wine he said they just had a delivery and would be too much of an effort to dig through everything and instead pointed us to Irvine market next door. I went to this store because it is close to my office. This is my first time and will be my last time to shop at this store. First: The waiter's attitude was not enthusiastic. I asked me where the wine I wanted was, but he asked me to find it by myself. I told him that I didn't find it, and he told me that I didn't. (As a result he went to the warehouse and found it again). Second: Since I was on the phone, I paid directly. When I read the receipt, when I asked if the price of the 12-year product was more expensive than the 18-year, could you help me replace it with the 18-year, but it was also rejected. Third: It doesn't matter that the price is a little more expensive than other stores, if there is good service, I am willing to pay a little more for the service. However, they are expensive and the service is not good. If there are other options, I do not recommend coming to this shop. So remember before going to and supporting a place like Back Bay Liquors, if you have a bad experience with the owner and in return warn other people by just saying what actually happened, the owner is will harass you. do not support this business owner! extremely unprofessional and rude! had an appointment to meet with owner and was completely disregarded! i asked if we could reschedule prior to engagmemt because i have been sick (trying to be cautious since we are in a pandemic) he told me that was fine and that he would call me to reschedule. not even 5 minutes later i called back, left voicemail, and texted him telling him that our original time was fine considering we had already had the time set up days before. (and the only reason i texted him after he did not answer for me to go with what was originally planned is because he texted me to set up the appointment from the very beginning! he didn't even try calling and asking about times that would work with me, he just gave me one!!!) i showed up 25 minutes early to walk in to find him laughing and rubbing his female employees back. i introduced myself to him for him to look me up and down and respond, "i'm too busy to meet with you since you tried to reschedule to a different time! going on about how he never saw the text or voicemail (it's 2020, smart phones tell you when the receiver has opened and read your message) and i asked him what if the time he gives doesn't work for the person other person, then what? he went onto say that if the first time doesn't work and they have to ask of reschedule before the 1st one he doesn't even give them a chance or waste his time. he asked me to step out because a different customer came in and saw what he was saying to me and he didn't want the custom to know that it was him, the owner, that was being a rude and unprofessional. don't waste your time or energy with associating with this business. how would you feel if you wer sue sick, got ready, and suited up and showed up to an appointment just to get told "f©k off, i'm too busy flirting with my employee" never again!! would givr negative stars if possible! plus he over charges becaus of the demographic he sells to becaus they live in extremely wealthy area. read more

This is the best kept secret spot in Costa Mesa. This bottle shop has got it all convenient location large selection of beer wine and spirits with excellent prices and customer service. So when I'm out for a hike in the back bay, at the driving range or playing a round of golf this is my go to liquor store. Hannah the manager is the best she always has a pleasant demeanor and a smile on her face. Unlike many other stores in the area the pride of ownership is apparent they have made many upgrades to the store since the previous ownership. These small changes really go a long way to make make for a more desirable shopping experience. Hannah always has good suggestions and is quite knowledgeable when it comes to new products that they have brought to market. One of the things I really like about this location is that they are not afraid to bring in new brands for their clients to try. There are a million cookie cutter corner liquor stores out there that carry the same old big name schwill, Back Bay Liquor is not that store. They have unique items that I have not seen before and I tend to look for the smaller craft spirits.
