I just got out of this BevMo, which the cashier, Michael didn't want to sell me the drinks that I needed for INSTACART, it wasn't even personal. When he looked at my ID, without even checked, he said it was expired (it wasn't), so he said he couldn't find my birthdate (???), and then he said he had to scan it (as if it was a big deal, since I do this every single day for Instacart and personal use). He started telling me he would sell it to me, because my ID didn't scan. I had to bring my green card and all my old drivers licenses for him to finally put it on the system, and he didn't even really had to scan it. He had some kind of prejudice, I didn't do anything. I was working. That's very frustrating! And right after I saw him having an attitude with another person! If he doesn't like to deal with people, he shouldn't be working there, and know his place and be professional. read more

I've been a long time bevmo customer, but not anymore. I went to buy a bottle of Bulleit Rye, which is usually somewhat overpriced at bevmo, but I noticed on their website they are selling it at a discounted price right now, so I came in to buy some. It was a couple dollars more when I got to the store, and I figured I would ask them to price match their website, as they've done in the past. The cashier and manager then informed me that they do not price match their website and gave me a spiel about how physical stores have to have higher prices because of cashiers, rent, etc. At the end of the day, I paid more than the website for the Bulleit. This feels like a bait and switch type of situation and I don't like it. It's kind of the last straw for me with bevmo since their selection and prices have been deteriorating lately, so now it's total wine for me! Hopefully a total wine can take this bevmo location's place in our neighborhood soon. read more

The WORST. I placed an order for a keg over the phone, three days ahead of time and they assured me that it was going to be available on the day I needed it. I was even willing to pay over the phone to make sure the order would go through, but the employee on the phone assured that just placing the hold was good enough... YEAH FUCKING RIGHT. I get to the store and no one knows what's going on. There was only one semi-competent employee that was willing to assist me. After 15 minutes of waiting around for him to locate my order, he told me that he found my paperwork on top of a counter and that it wasn't processed. Then he proceeded to give me a list of stores way the fuck across town that carried the beer I wanted.. Excuse me, you want me to do what? Drive across town to fix the mistake you guys made? NO. I probably would've been a nicer person if the manager, MARK, was even willing to talk to me and explain what happened to my order or why I didn't get a courtesy call about it... but all the employees were incompetent and useless. read more

I will never go back to this location. I just wasted 20 minutes of my life simply trying to get checked out. This store has no clear system for queuing up, and is clearly short staffed. After I waited for 15 minutes to check out my purchase, the teller went to answer the phone. I waited another few minutes, and gave up. Left the store. I seriously doubt I'll ever shop bevmo again. I blame the boardroom, not the employees. Seriously, pay someone a couple million to teach you how to design a retail store that works. Between the high prices and the poor service, I really can't see why anyone would buy anything at all from Bevmo. read more

This review is long overdue 11-21-14 I needed to get some crew gifts and what better gift to give to crew member but alcohol!! Being a red wine and Guiness girl I didn't want to push my "beliefs" on other so I asked for help. Thank goodness Bob was there! He helped me pick get some amazing beers for the guys. Banana Bread beer, Lagunitas Seasonal, Boulder Shake Chocolate Porter and a Warsteiner Pilsner. So suffice to say the selection was a hit with the guys...even better than the homemade brownies made by another ;-) Two added bonuses: They have their own parking lot and wine tastings on Friday and Saturday!!! read more

We had ordered some bottles at another store and there was a mix up. The regional manager contacted me to try and resolve the problem. He figured out the issue and ordered is the bottles and had them waiting at the store. I really appreciate how he took great care of us. He is probably the nicest employee ive come across, and he really knows his shit ! he helped me pick out the most beautiful bottle with a deer on it meant to be a gift. not 30 seconds later he had already brought the bottle to me with the deer on it. implying that he is very knowledgeable as to where and what people are looking for. Jenna was also a great help, she helped me find exactly what I was looking for ! When I got to the cash register Ray, was so kind and provided amazing customer service. being from LA, you don't get that often, so it was very refreshing ! 11/10 would recommend, and I will most definitely be going back. This is my local liquor store. It's large - a wide selection of everything from kitschy sparkling wine like Sofia Coppola's to standard fair like vodka and rum. Also they run specials like 5 cent wine deals. Btw, get the BevMo card read more

Horrid Parking. I can't imagine all the accidents that happen in that uber-tight lot. Terrible Customer Service. We asked for a particular wine, the employee shrugged and said he had no idea what we were talking about and then said he'd send someone else- no one came. Went and asked another employee, we were told if it's not in a particular crevice then they "probably" didn't have it. I was hosting a Cupcake & Champagne party so I hit up this BevMo since it was most convenient. I was skeptical because it's in a high traffic area but I pleasantly surprised to find a parking lot and meter parking. This store is fairly new so it is very clean. The alcohol selection seems reasonable and the staff was very friendly. I was looking for particular champagnes to be paired with the cupcakes and the staff was quick to help me find what I needed. I've been to this BevMo a handful of times and customer service isn't all that great and I usually don't care because I go in, grab my wine, pay and leave. I did however witness one of their employees yell at a mother with a baby that her SUV was taking up 2 spots and that wasn't fair. Then he said that she wasn't even a customer of BevMo as she had someone helping her bring presents from the wrapping place next door to her car. The employee would not shut up about her taking up 2 spots and he claimed already called to had her car towed. The lady with the baby didn't seem to care at all and took her time loading her car. I was surprised at how obligated the employee was to let her know that it wasn't fair of her to take up more than one parking space. Dude get real, it's not fair that you a majority of the spaces are compact and if I remember, you're ONLY an employee, NOT the owner, relax parking nazi. I thought the whole situation was pretty funny simply because I couldn't believe how arrogant the employee was being and thought I had to post and rate BevMo. read more

The manager (Amber) was very rude. I came in to purchase about $300 in booze and politely asked if they would price match Total Wine on one item. At first I was told by a sales clerk that they don't match anyone's prices not even other BevMo locations! Then when I respectfully asked for the manager she also declined to match. I told her that other BevMo locations do price match Total Wine. She didn't seem to care. So I walked out and I'm on my way to a store that is competitive and would like a $300+ sale. So I currently work for Instacart and we all know they are famous for delivering groceries to you so you don't have to leave home. So I get a request for this location and once I'm inside I get no greet! No let me know if you need help with anything. The employees at this this time have seen me walk around 1 aisle like 3x and continued to do what they were doing. I was ignored the whole time I was there. Not cool! I approached the manager which was Dave at the time. I told him no one had offered any help and that I was going to make a complaint and he told me to go ahead and do that if that's how I felt and proceeded to stock and look for inventory. I was so ready to leave this store it wasn't even funny but I couldn't because I had to finish my Instacart order. I had no Idea where none of these wines were! Terrible experience! Awful customer service! It felt horrible to be totally ignored like that and for them to know I was working for the biggest essential grocery shopping service at this time. I've gone to this bevmo for 2+ years now. Had decent/solid experiences each time. Previously, I've ordered many kegs from bevmo, but first time at this location. Called 2 weeks out to order with Andre and everything was set up, called the day before to confirm with him again and let them know my brother will be picking up the keg. Again, no issues and confirmed the Miller Lite keg would be ready to go. My brother goes to pick it up, stands around for about 15 minutes as they look for the order. Finally, he is informed 'it did not come in.' Manager responds, the distributor didn't drop it off, pointing the finger at them, rather then his store, which is where I placed the order. So instead of taking blame and making the situation right, he offers 3 options, one at the same price (a beer that I hate), then 2 other options that are an additional $50. I did not want to pay additional since I confirmed the order multiple times and then he gives my brother an insulting coupon for $10, right around 7% of the bill. I requested one of the nicer kegs for the price of the one I had ordered and CONFIRMED. All this while Andre deny's me calling and confirming anything. The manager argued with me for 10+ minutes on the phone, at this point I've had my brother bring back the crappy beer and exchange it for the keg I preferred. So he exchanges the original one for the new one only to have Bevmo not give us the imported tap. Now were back home with an imported keg and a domestic tap. 3 hours into this ordeal were now back at Bevmo for the 3rd time to get the correct tap which Bevmo said, we should of known to get the imported tap as if it was our responsibility. Well, news flash I purchased the product and services from Bevmo, not the distributor. At this point, I might as well have paid the distributor price since all the fingers kept getting pointed at them. If you're the distributor to this Bevmo, I hope you know how this store and manager treats you and your services. I'd be happy to purchase the next keg through you since Bevmo points anything that might happen in your direction. To ice the cake, I dropped off the keg only to have the lady processing the order say 'someone sold your Miller Lite keg on Friday.' So either the manager had no courage to be honest with customer and is more worried about the day's income rather than returning happy customers that boost that income or he chose to lie and then this sweet lady slipped up and told me what really happened. Don't worry, I'll never be back to spend your $10 insult. read more

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOCATION! If you need to make a return, the store manager, Sam, will not allow it, even if you are dissatisfied with your purchase and are within the 7 day policy. He was completely rude and unapologetic. I have been a BevMo customer for years, and I will move my business over to Costco and Pavillions. You just lost a loyal customer for hiring an unreasonable, poor customer service manager, BevMo. I will take my business somewhere else. read more

There are some really good deals here (especially on sale), and they have a pretty good selection. The only problem is that about 40% of the time, the items I'm trying to be are scanned above the advertised price. I've been frequenting the location for several years now and this has been going on for months. It happens at other BevMos too, but way more often at this occasion. What's particularly frustrating is the attitude of the staff. They often seem annoyed that I am requesting a price check. The last time I was there I mentioned that this has been going on for awhile to the manager on duty (I think his name was Sam), and he only responded with an indifferent shrug. To be fair, almost as soon as I reviewed Bevmo with a very low rating, I had a message from Bevmo's head of customer service inquiring about my negative experience at Bevmo. I responded with an explanation and she explained to my satisfaction that my negative experience was not a result of Bevmo policy but the "mistake" of an odd employee. Purchased over $250 in different bottles of alcohol from here all at ones, there was 1 tequila in particular we chose to return unopened/untouched recipe clearly says 90 day return policy, they are now telling me i can't return it as it is a spirit 11 days from the sell, does not say that on the receipt or anywhere in the store or was told to me on while the purchase if not i would of not bought it. As a customer how am i supposed to know this. And as a business you should honor your return policy that was printed on the receipt not some hidden policy. read more

Part of the consumer experience must include the customer service received under circumstances that were present at the time. But I also understand that this May not be the norm. So with that said, I give three stars to the store for its huge selection but Mediocre specials. I think I could get better deals at save Mart. I give 1 star to the customer service we received. We got there with 15 minutes to spare. We knew we had to leave within that time. The moment we entered we were sternly warned that they're closing. We rushed to the front with plenty of time left. The cashier appeared to sneer at one of my more animated friends. But no biggie there. When we left, the front gate was closed. So we had to walk through the alley! Not pleased Bevmo! read more

I used to come here for a wide selection at competitive prices. Unfortunately the pricing now seems to be much higher for most products then they can be found elsewhere. A whiskey I used to purchase here used to be $21 ... Now it's $31.99 but is $24 at Robert Burns Wines in Beverly Hills and most other places I've seen it. As I was purchasing 10 bottles purchasing elsewhere saved me $80. I also purchased ice molds only to find out Bevmo charges 50% more than most other retailers for the same product/brand. Definitely price shop elsewhere before you buy anything here. read more
