This is a scamming store. Avoid Bevmo. They charge for delivery and never deliver. The order (see the document photo attached never showed up) Anisha Zepeda who introduced herself as a manager of the store failed to provide the delivery information by simply saying, "I don't know!" when I called. I called second time and that time she said, " The order is still in the store and was not picked up by the delivery person!" I asked, "are you saying that I am waiting at my client's house for the delivery for 1,5 hour and the order is still in the store? " She answered, "Yes!" I had to drive to the store to pick up the 2 K order for my client. I am a professional Event Planner and I was shocked at the zero knowledge from Alisha hot to manage a store. I had to.oick up the order myself. At the store I told Anisha that I am here to pick up the order that was not delivered. She ran away from me, got the huge cart with ready to go multiple boxes and headed to the parking lot. I had to chase her to ask about the delivery fee refund. She answered, "I don't know! Contact the customer support! " I asked what does she know and if she is a robot because she is treating people as a robot. She said she is a human that is trying to help me and she started to smile. I am not sure if she is mentally OK. I went back to the store to get her name and it will go to the supervisor. Anisha is not suitable to be a manager of the store.

This BevMo is on busy El Camino Real. Small parking lot & small & cramped inside. They were sampling Q Tonic organic agave w/ quinine. I didn't care much for it. Some items that seemed interesting: Jack's pumpkin Spice Ale 6 bottles for $6.99 Anchor Christmas Ale 6 bottles for $9.99 Thomas Kemper Rootbeer 6 bottles for $6.99 Reed's Premium Ginger Bres 4 bootles for $5.94 I got Fever-Tree Ginger Ale for about $5 for 4 bottles. I wanted Ginger Beer (non-alcoholic), but didn't see it. Credit cards taken.

I stopped by BevMo looking for Orange Crush in glass bottles as a gift for my dentist - weird right?! It's what he likes, and I wanted to thank him for being so awesome and showing up on his day off to help when I needed a root canal. I didn't shop around and found out later that the Orange Crush here is much cheaper than Lunardi's and significantly more expensive than K-Mart. The helpful BevMo staff showed me where it was quickly. It was convenient, so A-OK by me. Before I left, I picked up some Jameson Irish Whiskey for Mr. L for a special Irish Cold Remedy I learned from an Irish friend. It might've been a dollar or two more than it costs at Trader Joe's, but I was there already. Irish Cold Remedy Recipe (as modified by JL) * Cut lemon and squeeze into mug, drop a slice or two of the lemon into mug * Add 5 cloves * Pour 3/4 mug boiling water * Add a large dollop of honey (Tablespoon or so) * Pour in 1/4 mug Jameson Irish Whiskey (can adjust proportions of water and whiskey to taste) Stir and serve. This hot Irish drink helps clear up Mr. L's colds - and he likes the taste. I prefer my whiskey neat.

Not outrageous but not cheap, so pretty much what I expected. The wines were a mix of some varieties you might expect with other more exotic ones too. You can order a half glass if you just want a taste, and it's a good amount. They also have a couple of flights too. But because it's not primarily flights, it's great that you can pick and choose individual wines and create your own flight essentially. I much prefer this to other places where you might be forced to choose a flight that might have some wines you wouldn't choose to include. So I liked the open menu approach much better. We ordered the Brie with toasts and the burrata flatbread pizza (delicious!!). I'm sure the rest of the food is good too. High quality charcuterie, flatbreads, meatballs, a solid menu for a wine bar. Stop by and see for yourself. It's kind of hidden though on the side/almost rear of the Box building. Worth checking out. I liked it a lot and would return.

We ordered the meatballs, the shrimp and the pastrami sliders. The meatballs were extremely plain. The meat barely had any season or flavor. The sauce tasted like it was just out of can without much flavor too. The shrimp dish also was not cohesive, the sauce was the same sauce as the meatballs and then it was poured on top of plain chickpeas. The shrimps were decent but just light garlic flavor. The best dish was the pastrami slider. Maybe it was an off night but they also gave us the wrong bill and they charged us wrong on the second time? Maybe I should have just stuck to wine and cheese.

We arrived starving after a long hike at nearby Corte de Madera, and were craving some comfort food and beer to appease our appetites, and Ghostwood hit the spot! So much flavor and the meat-to-toppings-to-bread ratio was perfect. Definitely hit the spot! * Special big ups to the Beef Tallow Fries that were crispy and just fantastic. The Meh: * It is a family-friendly establishment, so prepare for unsupervised kids running amok in the game room while the parents get plastered. -_- * I thought the Fried Pickles were pretty good, but Carissa felt like they needed more batter or something. The Ugly: * Downtown Redwood City can be extremely popular, especially on weekends, so parking can be a real hassle. June 2026 -- Santa Clara, CA Beer, Brats, Bladder Strategy…read more Pretty fun place. Good food. Great place to watch a World Cup soccer game. One word of warning: arrive with an empty bladder and a working relationship with patience, because the restroom line moves like it is being reviewed by a committee. Das Bierhauz is located right next to the VTA and Caltrain station, which makes it a very practical stop before heading to a game at Levi's Stadium. There is shaded outdoor seating and indoor seating, but this place fills up fast. Do not show up late and expect the universe to hand you a table. The universe has other appointments. The beer selection is very good. We got there around 6 PM before the Austria vs. Jordan World Cup match, and the stouts were already sold out. That tells you two things: people know what they are doing here, and you may need to move with purpose. Order the huge 20 oz glass if you want to have fun. It is not subtle. It announces itself. Food-wise, the combination appetizer is a strong move for a group of three or four. It comes with hummus, crushed eggplant, olives, a cucumber-yogurt-style dip, and other Mediterranean support staff. For the main dish, I recommend the veal knockwurst with fries. It was simple, filling, and did its job without trying to explain itself. The ordering system is where things get a little loose. Seating is basically self-directed, which means the bold inherit the tables. The line to order can feel scattered, although the menu is clearly posted above the cashier. You order, pay, receive one of those coaster number things, then sit down and trust that civilization will continue. To their credit, the staff found us with the beer and food without incident. There were TVs everywhere showing Argentina vs. Algeria, and with the international crowd in the room, the energy was like getting electrocuted by friendly aliens experimenting on how to make adrenaline surges in the body lightning fast. Loud, lively, and just the right amount of chaotic. Overall, I would give Das Bierhauz a 4 out of 5. I would not want to be here when it is absolutely packed, mostly because the queue system could become chaotic like a school of fish in a class on how to properly get into an auto accident. That said, the staff were reliable, the food was good, the beer was strong, and the location is hard to beat before a game.
