They use a shady credit firm to provide loans on the spot which act like debt collectors. They dropped my credit score by 144 points for a 3 day late payment claiming it was 30+ days late. It's taken months for me to get it corrected. The vehicles are also overpriced by 2-4k dollars, the company adds 2-3k of extra "warranty" fees that cover very little. I would strongly advise against buying a vehicle here if you value your credit and don't want to get ripped off. read more

BEWARE BEWARE !!! Super SHADY ! My car broke down in my parking lot not even 24hrs after signing my paperwork. It was a Sunday so the dealership wasn't open, my only option was to text the sales person & let him know I was having issues with the car shifting gears ( I had to miss work this day) he tells me through text that he "thinks" he knows what the issue is. The next day a few employees from the dealership come & they do something to make the car drive-able & take it back to the dealership to "fix it". & it went downhill from there... I also asked them to look at the AC while they had the car because it wasn't working ( in the middle of the summer ) I was told the compressor was bad ..but not broken. The advice was to run the fan really high so it'll eventually go out & my warranty will cover it lol. 3 WEEKS later ..after no updates, The manager calls to tell me there was an accident with my car & an employees leg was ran over by my car & the front bumper was damaged. Against my better judgement.. I kept the car. A year later I'm still having the same car issues .. & You're only allowed to go to one shop for repairs under the extended warranty. This is the place where magic happens ! They make everything disappear ! They have no recollection of anything that's gone wrong ! Then they'll blame you & say "oh well " you must have lost the incident report you never received!! God forbid you have any issues .. speak to anyone but Natalie !! She's rude & condescending. Do not purchase a car from here unless it's maybe brand new, otherwise you risk them selling you a lemon and not caring one lick about it. They will give you a very short warranty because they know the car is crap and take advantage of you if they feel you don't know much about vehicles. I had been without a car for some time and was rather excited to get one for my daughter and I. The moment I got the car there was an issue with it slightly jerking. I mentioned this twice and took it to be looked at. Was told that it didn't do it for them and the car was fine or could have been related to the AC issues that were going on. I accepted this which I believe now was the start to the engine failure, that I was in turn blamed for!!! I hadn't had the car a good 6 months and the engine is gone! I'm told it would be $5000 with $3000 I would be responsible for as if I just have that sitting around and they know I don't but they don't care. The responses I've received lately are so insensitive it's sad. Basically, this is what you have to pay or here's the address to where the vehicle is located do whatever you need to do we can care less. They will still sleep very well at night while low class individuals such as myself will suffer. Now I have to surrender the car, mess up my credit I've been working so hard to build and be without a vehicle AGAIN right as winter is approaching and before the holidays! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to me and my child. Also, I made an appointment because my car made noise due to not having any oil in it, which was also an ongoing problem since the beginning. When I had the oil placed in the car, the noise stopped so I didn't go to the appointment. This low down dealership is trying to say me missing this appointment is the reason the timing belt went out and the engine died!! When they know for a fact that if you make an appointment for service and the car is not doing what you said it was they will NOT search beyond that and will send you on your way. THIS IS WHAT THEY DID IN THE BEGINNING WHEN I FIRST SAID THE CAR WAS JERKING!!! If you are smart, you will not purchase a used vehicle from them. This place is super shady. I won't waste my time writing a lengthy review about a terrible experience. I came with my friend to help him buy a car. They were total jerks through the whole process. In the end, my friend bought the car. It had a remote start button so it didn't need an actual key. There should be an actual key for emergency purposes if the batteries die. They sold him this car without the original key. When he asked for the original key, they told him to order it himself since he had already bought the car. Those keys cost upwards of $200. That's terrible customer service. Why would anyone return here? They clearly don't care. read more

I bought my very first truck from here in 2020 and it was an amazing experience however in 2023 my truck was hit and i needed another vehicle so naturally i returned to see if i could purchase another truck. I initially dealt with Hank again because he sold me my first truck so i was excited about purchasing. I called ahead of time and explained my situation and he told me to come in. My mother had also purchased a Kia from them and still currently has this vehicle. When i went in Hank was busy but eventually he came and greeted us with hugs. I was able to test drive the truck and it was awesome, but once i returned Hank had a frown on his face and instantly blurted out very loudly you have a defaulted loan out for $12,000 I responded with I know i told you that on the phone basically at that point it went from a good experience to I felt like i did something wrong, it was one thing to be disappointed about not getting a new car, however i should have never been made to feel embarrassed, ashamed about getting into an accident that could have killed me and my son. I left out of the store because he was so loud and rude there were other workers there while he was telling me he needed a $10,000 deposit down on a $17,000 truck, he never asked me how much i had to put down he just assumed i couldn't afford it. He told me i have to be able to afford the maintenance on the truck, without asking me could i afford it. Long story short Hank was very judgmental, loud, rude and ghetto. Needless to say our family will NEVER purchase vehicle another from here thanks to him and his antics, no one should ever leave a place of business feeling like they did something wrong or discriminated against regardless of their situation or background. If you decide to go here don't go to Hank if you are a person of color go to one of the "other" employees you may have a better experience and more professionalism. It wasn't what was said it was the condescending, judgmental attitude of the worker who acted like I was not worthy of the vehicle. I started my used car search on Cars.com and was happy to find a car I've liked for years at this dealership. Unfortunately, the car would have been better off at another dealership. The price online and the price that they tried to finance me for were $500 different. When I asked about the discrepancy, I was told it was because of pending repairs to the car. This leads me to wonder #1: why they would list a car that they had not yet gotten completely ready to sell and #2: Why they would list ANY price before they were completely sure of how much they wanted to sell it for. "Not priced" is much better than a misleading one. As far as my trade-in: I had been offered 1k for my vehicle at the dealership who examined it and told me what work needed to be done on the vehicle. I decided instead to bring it here as they had a car I was genuinely interested in. They offered me $300 for it. I'm not sure if that was because they assumed as a woman I had no idea what I was talking about, or if they attempt to low-ball ALL of their customers. When I told them the offer was unacceptable, they treated me as though I was the one being impractical. They then attempted to go through with making a deal as though I would simply take what they are giving. Unfortunately for them, I have never been in the business of letting someone else dictate to me to ignore common sense and spend my money when there is nothing but red flags. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy if I had one. The fact that they cater to low-income/bad credit customers and attempt to bamboozle them and sway them into unfair situations is very sad. Went in ready to buy, having researched the vehicle online & driven the same model previously as a rental. Sales guy was nice, respectful, no hassle about the test drive, which I was allowed to do on my own unlike other dealers who try to force a ride-along. They offered more than I expected on my trade-in. Things were going swimmingly & I was looking forward to taking the car home. I don't have great credit, so the loan rate was my biggest concern. They offered financing with a company at an exorbitant rate. I had preapproval from CapOne that I had previously decided against using a few days prior because they couldn't meet my price on a different vehicle, so asked them to see what CapOne could do in this case. That's when the finance guy got really aggressive and basically refused to even try with CapOne, also saying he'd talked to the finance guy at Ricart & there wasn't gonna be any CapOne loan at all. He was so patronizing that I walked out. If he'd been willing to even talk to CapOne to get comparison numbers, I might well have gone with their financer--but I wasn't going to be bullied into making that decision without even being given the option to compare. The sales guy said "We don't care who you finance with" more than once, but it was clear that he was trying to cover that they did. The finance guy was just a plain old patronizing jerk. Very very poor customer service at the hands of Cody, sales rep. Completed online app; Cody called within minutes to ask a few questions, including which car I was interested in. I told him, just based on the physical description on website. (There was not yet a photo.) He called back minutes later, stating I was approved and indicating what documentation to bring. When I got there, the car was being detailed. Eventually, I drove it, after providing pay stubs, bank statement and driver's license. When I got back to lot, Cody met me at the car enthusiastically, asking if I liked it. I said no; immediately he was visibly annoyed. I excused myself for a call and told him I'd look around the lot. I went inside after my call and told him the car is not as clean as it looked initially, noting the rusting around the fuel door. I also did not like the loud exhaust tuning. (Think low-riding, souped-up Hondas popular with the "Fast and Furious" set.) He told me it sounds as it should. That may very well be true, but I don't have to LIKE it. I told him I would go out and see if anything else caught my eye. He later came out as I was viewing the remaining inventory, regarding the advertised pricing on my smartphone. I told him what in I was interested. (I still am a bit annoyed at his attitude at my distaste for the original car.) He asked incredulously, "How do you go from a ____ to a ____?" Mind you, the difference in price is only $3K--but the latter car is MARKEDLY cleaner. He takes an inordinate amount of time to return with the keys--and when he does, he has no dealer plates for the test drive. He says, "I just want to be sure you really want this car." He finally states I would need to increase my stated down payment for that car, which seemed reasonable to me, as the car is $3K more, as aforementioned. I told him that would not be a problem. "What do you do again?," he asked. I told him I am a chef. To that he sarcastically replied, "I need to be doing what you are doing. This is SUCH a nice car." At that point, I asked him what, precisely, is at the root of his hesitation. He starts rambling about how folks claim they want a nice car, only to jerk him around. Then he asked how I planned to make (what he perceived to be) such a large down payment. Foolishly, I began to answer, before interrupting myself to tell Cody that Bexley Motor Company is not the only dealership that with financing for challenged credit, and that I would take my business elsewhere, as I handed him the keys, for which he had brought no license plate. He continued about being jerked around "by others," noting that I "don't even have insurance." I told the genius that persons typically don't ensure what they do not own.
